I wonder where you read or learnt your own history. The top echelon and most of the founding members of AG were former NCNC members when Herbert Macaulay was still alive.

Please list the names of NCNC members who were the founding father of AG. The subject matter in this discourse was Awolowo was never a member of NCNC. Wherever you got your historical facts, it remains wrong on Awo and NCNC.

They have forgotten how Azikiwe dumped Awolowo who advised him to take the post of the Prime Minister while Awolowo settles for the post of finance minister, to go form alliance with Sir Ahmadu Bello ,which enabled the northerners to take the Prime Ministership while the northerners made him a figurehead governor general who have no real authority. His hatred for Awolowo and Yoruba people cost the Igbos the opportunity to first rule Nigeria.

Let any Igbo refute this!.

Why are most Nigerians bent on be uneducated? It is unfortunate that certain peeps especially Yari.ba tend to swallow hearsay as factual facts. There was no time in history of Nigeria that Awo advised Zik to take the position of Prime Minister.

I do not know why certain stocks in Nigeria tend to write crap in order to impress their silly selves. There is nobody who handed any party to Azikiwe. In addition, Awolowo was never a member of NCNC. In 1954, Azikiwe appointed a Yari.ba the secretary of eastern regional government. I wish to see the day these twisted group of people will sit truth on its feet.
you dey mind them, they are known to twist history

The National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons was formed in 1944 by Herbert Macaulay. Herbert Macaulay was its first president, while Azikiwe was its first secretary. The NCNC was made up of a rather long list of nationalist parties, cultural associations, and labor movements that joined to form NCNC. The party at the time was the second to take a concerted effort to create a true nationalist party. It embraced different sets of groups from the religious, to tribal and to trade groups with the exception of a few notable ones such as the Egbe Omo Oduduwa and early on the Nigerian Union of Teachers

The idea that Awolowo was involved in a coup was unknown in the military. Only the politicians had such idea at that time. This explains why the northerners treated Awolowo very well after his release from jail. They knew it was all an hoax.

Also that the coup plotters did what they did in order to make Awolowo Prime Minister was a modern creation . A face-saving effort at justifying their actions This was unknown for decades in our history.

People should stop trying to revise our history.

Don't mind them, jo. That was the BS they sold Major A. Ademoyega- a well-known die-hard Awoist to get him to join their

so-called revolutionary coup. However, there was no recorded movement in calabar where Awo was serving his jail terms hence when

Ademoyega eventually came face to face with Ifeajunna in enugu, they came to blows as Ademoyega realised he had been played like a flute by

Ifeajunna and his fellow ibos mutineers.

Their stratagem is, if you reiterate a lie long enough, it will ultimately morph into a fact- that was how their leaders had conditioned their mind

to function hence the reason they keep regurgitating the same asinine statements that are totally devoid of any iota of logic.

Southerners..when will you guys ever learn..the northerners discovered that the south is already beginning to unite against them for a change in Nigeria which they don't want and their only tactics is their divide and rule..which we are stupidly falling for..when are we going to put aside our differences and think a progressive south..when are when going to stop pointing fingers at one another for crimes committed even before we were born and allow such to hold us back from making progress when its time to share money we do not here all this divide and rule tactics but when it is time for issues that are suppose to change the present status quo then you begin to hear all the crimes committed by out for fathers in other to create enmity amount the south...together we stand and divided we fall under this northern tactics.
