kn23h:Do you know Enugu State was the first city to be named in the world Top 100 most resilient cities? This is a city that was overwhelmed by war for three years. This can't be achieved without a Master Plan. Do you know SE region is the least indebted region in Nigeria, with 7.5% of the aggregate debts of the 6 regions while the other 5 have to shamelessly share the remaining 92.5%? This is a region that was overwhelmed with war for 3 years. You can't achieve this without a Master Plan. Do you know SE is the region with the least chances to be born into a slum? It is not possible to achieve this without a Master Plan. Do you know Onitsha main market is not just the largest and busiest market in Nigeria, but entire West Africa? This is not possible without a Master Plan. SW is the most indebted region in Nigeria and this is tantamount to mortgaging the future of posterity. Development is making the present generation better-off without compromising that of the future generation. Though our Governors are not trying, atleast they are not mortgaging our future like the other 5 regions. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Oh, look! Another Yoruba poster obsessing about Igbo people... What a surprise! I don’t care what anyone says, I’ve not seen Igbo posters dedicate this much time and attention to non-Igbos- it’s getting ridiculous now. 8 Likes |

IkpuMmadu:Even the one yoruba state, ogun is a fall out of industries from Lagos spill over at otta, mowe, ibafon and such. And those industries are owned by Lebanese, Chinese, igbos, etc. If you hear of 100 industries in igbo land, 99 of them are self made industries of igbos. If you hear of 100 industries in Lagos or ogun (forget the rest yoruba states), just know that it's just 15 that belong to their sons 2 Likes |

kn23h: Once upon a time a grown, but immature man asked his father why his father has been unable to sire male offspring. The father responded by asking the young man "who's your father" I take it that you meant well and probably have the best interest of Igbos at heart, otherwise you would not have my response. 1. Igbos were defeated, their cities, infrastructures and independence completely destroyed by Britain, Russia, and other foreign countries that fought through the Nigerian army. 2. Today, it's a miracle that the average Igbo town is on the average more developed than the average Hausa and probably Yoruba town. 3. Igbos are no good, Igbos love money too much, Igbos are not capable of ruling themselves, Igbo rulers are selfish, etc are just tribalistic diatribes mouthed by poorly educated Nigerian leaders, first as a joke, and now carried to the main stream, and then unfortunately and ignorantly echoed by fellow Igbos who lack insight as to what's really the problem. 4. Igbo governors owe their allegiance not to the Igbos that elected them, but to powers residing in Sokoto, Lagos, and Abuja. Many times these are never Igbos' finest, but they fit into somebody's machination for the Igbos. Do you know how many times the so-called Igbo governors have run to Sokoto crying and asking for help? 5. The federal emasculation of every sphere of life in Nigeria, started as pretence for One Nigeria has been used to strangle Igbo ingenuityy and efforts. You probably would know that the limitation of universal free primary education was because Igbos were noted to be enjoying most of resources devoted to the scheme, so some smart Alec figured it would be better to do it state by state. My point is that any federal program that levels the playing filed for everybody is some how not good, because Igbos would certainly excel in that endeavor. 6. OBJ recently stated that he laughs at people complaining about the presence of too many Igbos outside their region, "well, he asked is there any federal presence in Igboland to cater for Igbos? The answer remains a big NO" 7. From roads, education, commerce, and industry, the federal government has cornered everything about Nigerias with a view of 'slowing the Igbos' down while at the same time feeding a non-productive group in the north-(exactly as the racist Sarduana of Sokoto envisioned many years ago) 8. Igbos need better understanding of what's going on, otherwise what happened to them yesterday will happen to them again tomorrow. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

bakynes:what do u people used in Measuring this so called population. Nigeria population statistics is a propaganda the government is using to marginalized the eastern people, i bet u if the government can conduct a geniue census the population of Eboyin will beat that of Ogun state even with the massive migration outside igbo land. What u people has in ur land mass is bush areas (oko). About ss no city in south west minus Lagos can match any city in ss with the exclusion of yenagoa. |

Lloydfather:You yourself know the SE is empty, everyone has left there just d few commercial part like Onitsha,Aba,Nnewi. Which Ogun state are you talking about is the one Igbos are now migrating to because of its proximity to Lagos ?You know SW is bigger than SS and the SE is just about the size of Oyo state alone so we still have enough lands. Aside PH, Uyo,I don't think any city in the SS or SE can match Ibadan. 2 Likes |

SouthEastFacts: What does this prove? That its among the 100 most developed? Abuja is not on the list oo. Do you know SE is the region with the least chances to be born into a slum? Still the poorest region in Southern Nigeria. Do you know SE has the second highest child mortality rate in Nigeria? Do you know Onitsha main market is the largest and busiest market in West Africa? By market you mean commerce market right? so what does that prove? The Largest market in the world are 1. Khan Al-khali, Egypt 2. Chatuchak, Thailand 3. Grand Bazaar, Turkey No 1st World Country! Easterners love commerce, No arguments.. SW is the most indebted region in Nigeria. Lowest poverty rate, Highest IGR and GDP + per capita though. SW governors are no better than the SE's, but stop making it seem SE is a better region, Its Not! 3 Likes |

Do you know Onitsha main market is not just the largest and busiest market in Nigeria, but entire West Africa? This is not possible without a Master Plan. Noise. Why doesn't the largest market in African generate substantial revenue? SW is the most indebted region in Nigeria and this is tantamount to mortgaging the future of posterity. Development is making the present generation better-off without compromising that of the future generation. SW also generates more than half of Nigeria's IGR and is the most developed region in Nigeria. 3 Likes |

kn23h:You don't know Economics. The US debt stands at $19 trillion. This debt is never a threat to long run sustainability of the US economy. 76% of the debts are held by the public. This means that if government starts servicing those debts, most of the funds will be trapped within the US. This will even increase the US productive capacity because availability of these funds will increase loanable funds, which will stimulate investment in the long run. The other 24% of the debts are held by inter governmental agencies. That one government agency borrowing from another. The debt of Lagos is not this way. Most of them are held outside Lagos and servicing them will lead to capital flight. This in the long run is not good for Lagos who had already borrowed above acceptable threshold by 300%. Continue to allow yourself to be deceived by "US is the most indebted country in the world" but those deceiving you won't tell you what I just told you now. Sorry, SE is the least indebted region in Nigeria with only 7.5% of the total debts of the 36 states and FCT. 1 Like |

jstbeinhonest:Soon, we are going to review the human poverty index to determine its reliability. Anyway, using that statistics: SE is the lowest region with relative poverty. Only 2 out of 5 States fell below the relative poverty line, that is 40%, while in SW, 3 out of 6 fell below their relative poverty line which translate to 50%. If we exclude Lagos, then it'll go up by 60%. This shows that poverty is more widespread in SW than SE. If we remove Ebonyi, the weakest link in the SE, then SE will have the lowest poverty index. Ebonyi was scored and Osun high because the data used wasn't recent. Ebonyi recently is improving greatly. Thanks. 1 Like |
