Nothing like 1,000m range kill in all these fraud videos you are posting.

Youtube is made by teenagers if they wish.

The men in your fake video killed nothing, he was firing bullets into the empty air.

You have trapped yourself again, I need to bookmark this your claims....

Now show us record sniper kill with Enfield iron sights on target 1,000 m away grin grin
.

Video clearly shows men aiming at and hitting targets at 1km distance with WW2 rifles using only iron sights

You don't, but your 12 mothballed Gripens are filling the pinch, the inability for the SAAF to purchase aviation fuel, your sub which spent 7 years at the docks are enough proof.

- no gripen mothballed
- 22 000 hours of jet fuel purchased, 18000 used = surplus
- Sub spent 7 years and hundreds of millions of rands being upgraded actually defeats your "proof"

If we are broke I dont want to think what the Nigerian army is

Actually yes, completely seperate

The project defined the concept of the vehicle, reason why the Badger design is an obsolete 18 year old IFV concept grin
.

Nope - project defined the need to replace the IFV

Decision as to what was needed was released in 2007 - meaning that the requirements were only decided upon at that time.

Nope, DENEL funded and owns the Badger. Army only buys finished products.

Did SANDF fund development of Mokopa ATGM and now refuse to buy it, while DENEL has exported same to another country. How many weapons development projects can your broke army afford to fund development and still fund purchases ? Fool .

Denel weapons were used in the border war before they were in service with the SADF (go look up Juliet troop - highly experimental G6 howitzers used during Quito loong before introduction into SADF service)

Our APC's include transporters like MT-LB with cabin for logistic supplies, they are amphibious and can shuttle between HQ and FOB

How do you think amphibious armoured brigades get supplies across water? Mumu
.

You only have 67 MT-LB's - that is no where enough to support an armored brigade.

American wars are big, they span large nations and regions, that would involve multiple armies because of alliances and NATO protocol.

SANDF fights tiny wars like the one in Bangui....13 hours is your army's maximum endurance grin
.

According to you the war in Angola involved 300,000 men

Is that small?

Your answers are off the point of my question.

I said armies upgrade and change tank armour, simple fact. Stop twisting.

His answer is direct

The tank hull IS THE ARMOR - you cant change it unless you replace the turret or attach armor ontop of existing armor.

Multiple sources have been posted that show:

Lol, you need to cry sweet tears for a dream IFV not in service after 18 years delay grin

There is no 37 Bagders inside factory process as we speak, no money, SANDF is broke ! No 10 Billion Rands to pay, no cash !

Now you say 12 units in service, but three of you Southies just posted this morning that you have only 5 units produced for tests.

You see how dreams can be like hypnotism ? grin

5 Badgers at 7 AM today, 12 Badgers at 11 AM today, express factory production of extra 7 units in 4 hours...na like baking bread in oven ?

LOL grin
.

Read the source augustus, its quite clear

SANDF is far from broke - considering trhe R10 billion has been paid

SANDF has production facility for Mokopa ATGM but you will buy NONE grin

SANDF has no Rand 10 Billion to pay for Badger IFV, your army will fvck around inside obsolete Ratel IFV until year 2050 grin
.

We dont need the Mokopa at this point, and since it is an ignominious product there is no need to aquire any as we allready have the factory that builds them set up

Badger is a different story and again, you keep saying we are broke but:

With the i’s dotted and the t’s crossed at long last on documentation for the SA Army’s new infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), Denel Land Systems (DLS) will now start work in earnest on industrialisation of the Badger, with the first unit expected off the production line by August 2015.

SANDF = Dry land only army grin

According to this map of Boko Haram activity there is practically no major water obsticals in the AO

Mercenaries are private men, not SANDF, did your mercenaries fight for you against Seleka in Bangui?

Those mercenaries are not your national army, or they also fly your Gripens and sail your Submarines ?

Many countries have mercenaries, not only you, they are NOT counted as a national military force.

Apartheid mercenaries will NEVER help South Africa in war, they are your sworn enemies who oppressed you in Soweto.

Reason why SANDF paid dollars to Brazil that has zero war experience to train SANDF for war in Congo DRC, why did you not get training from your own experienced mercenaries if they are truly loyal to South Africa? LOL....Private men, not your army....and those guys are enemies of ANC political organization....they are your former tormentors in Soweto !
.

We sent men to Brazil so we could begin setting up a dedicated jungle warfare school in Port St Johns

We have no operational history in triple-canopy jungle warfare, hence we needed to build capacity

Many SADF men still proudly serve the SANDF - you see, the thing about professional soldiers is that they ignore politics.

Nigeria is not seeking personal military help! Rather we are requesting our neighbours to tighten-up their border security to prevent BH from running across easily each time we apply the hard squeeze on them. Nigeria is asking our neighbours to stand up and fight-off the terrorists using their territories as bases and launch pads against Nigerian citizens and border communities.

It is certain that the heat is on!
You're not squeezing anything.

BH holds huge land they simply fall back.

they went to Brazil for a refresher cause.

The SANDF didn't have "a jungle" to train in, Lieutenant General Mgwebi a Chief of Joint Operations a qualified special force himself negotiated with local chiefs for the usage of Pt Saint Johns. As special forces of the Transkai defence force were trained there by the SADF.

Soon a school will be opened there.

SADC SF units hold yearly exercises which exposed them to different weathers and environments from Desert in Namibia, Cold and high altitudes in Lesotho etc

What do they have that you dont?

- mobility
- skill
- a lack of corruption
- moral
- motivation
- basic equipment
- functional equipment

For example, look at what the AU has done in Somalia with a much smaller force against an enemy that held a much larger area and was not only well funded but well entrenched

Your army is incompetent, poorly motivated, rife with corruption and lacks complete and utter tactical nuance.

With regards to COIN, SANDF and many African countires (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Angola, elements of the DRC army, Chad) have either COIN experience or are well versed in COIN training.

Furthermore, COIN is no longer the type of war you are fighting. You are now fighting LICW.

Your inability to defeat BH in LICW shows (yet again) what a lame duck your military is.

And as to your implication that it will be led by Nigerians... why the hell would anyone let a man that cannot even successfully lead his own troops lead theirs?

Just sit back and wait, AU is coming to bail you out.
