[s] I always said NO SINGLE SAAF Gripen pilot is combat qualified, they do NOT have the standard flying hours for combat skills.

SAAF is disqualified from participating in currently ongoing June 2015 Exercise Lion Effort organized by SAAB [/s]manufacturers

Weird how SAAF would pay more for a bettter jet

[s]LOL...Clown !

NAF has completed tests, analysis, inspection, and evaluation of JF-17 Thunder and after personally evaluation the jet as a currently flying combat pilot, the Chief Of Air staff has selected the aircraft and just some months ago submitted a purchase recommendation for 25 to 40 units of JF-17 Thunder, then is close to signing the contract of sale according to Janes Defence report and Pakistani government confirmation.

Your South African friends here are panicking and decided to pitch the JF-17 against your own Gripen so that they can assess the new air superiority Nigeria will have over them.....preparing for the imminent new enemy......[/s]

Why cant you prove we only have 9 Gripen pilots?

Why cant you prove you have more than 3 F7 pilots?

[s]I hope you South Africans have learnt your bitter lessons by fire by force !

You started by insulting the JF-17 Thunder, calling it junk, making ridicule of Pakistan a 3rd world country that has built a jet fighter that you South Africans CANNOT build in your country's entire national history.

You joined the American/European news reporters and analysts who are always trying to spoil the JF-17 Thunder's image and run down it's technical capabilities out of envy because reasonably priced JF-17 will spoil market for the over-priced European/American jets. Envy against a better deal achieved by a 3rd world country like Pakistan to knock off the white-men who self over-priced aircraft to the world and still control the sales/transfer terms/after sales parts supply plus unfair arms embargoes and sanctions against their own customers.

Pakistani JF-17 Thunder has broken the backbone of white people's domination of the world jet fighter market for ever !

Now you Southies insulting the JF-17 calling it junk, have seen the retaliation from we Nigerians, we have exposed many of the lies and false information/performance specifications marketed worldwide to promote the over-priced over-rated JAS Junk Aircraft Systems Gripen jet that CANNOT do basic combat maneuver without crashing or land safely without crumbling when least expected.

The tide turned against the Gripen yesterday with it's dark secret weaknesses exposed.

Next time, think twice before you insult the JF-17.....because the Gripen is actually a less capably combat aircraft if we start digging out things!

Now apologize to $25 million JF-17 Thunder so your sins can be forgiven you to save the $68 million Gripen from further embarrassments ![/s]

.

Factually speaking, JF-17 is trash and completely inferior to the Gripen

Dont worrry though, we have added it to the Nigerian Airforce "wish list"

But your Block 2 Plane is only 10% better than a JF-17 block 1. Is this enough to cost $43 million more.

Still waiting for you to show us where this 10% figure has come from

It was exposed in 1989 crash and confirmed again in 2008 crash......and I have been shouting screaming about it on Nairaland since two years ago ! I always said repeatedly that Gripen maneuverability is same as F-7 jet.

Countries buy Gripen are paying $68 million for political, commercial, or criminal reasons.....

1. Sweden bought 75% of all Gripens because they manufacture it. Political.

2. South Africa bought highest number of Gripen exports yet, because manufacturer bribed them. Criminal.

3. Brazil is buying Gripen jet in exchange for Sweden buying about 100 Brazilian made Super Tucanos. Commercial.

4. Czech bought Gripen on lease agreement. Commercial

5. Hungary bought Gripen on lease agreement. Commercial

The nations refusing to buy Gripen have seen things, India, Denmark, Norway....long list of those who evaluated Gripen and ran away.

Why pay $68 million for a jet that has same maneuverability with F-7 jet ? Who want's to be a fool ?
.

1.Pakistan has bought ALL Jf-17 - political

2. What bribery?

3. Citation needed

4. They bought the Gripen

5. They bought the Gripen

260 Gripen operational

50 or so operational JF-17

Why will no single nation buy this "$25milion Grippen"?

No.. You mean an economy which even though is temporarily struggling, still has a much better credit rating than the Nigerian economy!

And also an economy which has a higher GDP per capita, higher foreign reserves, and bigger treasury.

[s]Always running emotions all over the place, sometimes, I just can't help but think you are a girl.

6 qualified Pilots comment was made by you M.P, David Maynier of the D.A.

According to Defenceweb the SAAF only has a Gripen Air crew of 18 (Pilots and Navigtors) for 26 planes.

Instead of providing evidence that you have more than 9 qualified pilots, you instead run around this thread b1tching.

Posting photos does not prove that,

A, the Guys in the photos are all pilots

B, they are winged Pilots

C, they are trainee pilots

D, Still flying in active service

E, All Navigators

F, a mix of Pilots and Navigators.

G, are qualified pilots/navigators

H, are only qualified pilots

I, are only qualified Navigators.

I'm your photos do not prove jack sh1t!! Yet, you want us to believe they are all Gripen qualified pilots. Are you retarrded, how is that?

Stop beating about the bush, and provide evidence that SAAF has above 9 qualified Gripen pilots, as SAAF Gripen pilot shortages are well documented![/s]

how does SAAF keep 14 Gripen in the air with 9 pilots?

Unnamed Asian customer has purchased 24 JF-17 Thunder this month at Paris air show. The new vertical take off capability was irresistible.

Buyers are taking their time, nobody is bribing them to rush like SAAF/ANC was bribed to rush into Gripen purchase.

The richest countries in the world have lined up to buy JF-17 Thunder, nations richer than those who bought Gripen cheesycheesy
