Some community leaders in Madagali, Adamawa state, have threatened that their people would relocate to neighbouring Cameroon.

Speaking during a presentation of relief materials by NEMA to those affected by recent attacks on Gulak town, the headquarters of the council on Thursday, the leaders said they were not happy with the situation, adding that distribution of food to the affected communities was not their ”top priority.”

Yusuf Muhammad, chairman of the council, said people of the area have made up their mind to leave Nigeria if nothing was done to alleviate their suffering.

“Our top priority in Madagali local Government Area is that we need security not food. Government, as matter of urgency should bring lasting solutions to stop excessive attacks and destruction on our people.

“If the deadly attacks continue, we have no other alternative rather than to relocate to Cameroon Republic,” Mr. Muhammed said.

He complained that the people of the area “were more affected by the insurgency and yet were neglected as if they were not Nigerians.”

Binta Garba, an APC Senator, confirmed that the position of the council chairman was true.

Mrs. Garba said both Madagali and Michika local government areas have neglected by the Federal government.

“Are we really part of Nigeria? If yes; Government should prove to us and treat us as Nigerians,” the senator said

After all the Lamido Adamawa once said during the 2014 Confab in Abuja that if they're threatened,he will move his people into Southern Cameroon.Well BH have come calling. undecided
Meanwhile guess the these affected people & region can see how deceptive the APC magnified the self-inflicted BH carnage for political propaganda but with no iota of clue on how to contain same?

I feel their plight the trauma arising from these whole thing. But the deceptive government declared in CNN that they've won the battle against Bokoharam. So which of the Bokoharam is still causing bloodshed or is it their spirit or something?

Buhari would really not be shaken if you decide to go to Cameroon or Sudan as he really don't give a fu*k.... So just stay put.

Most of the border towns in that region are Nigeria geographically but depend on Cameroon for basic and social amenities.
