But the private sector can drive these current innovations, after all it was not the Ghanaian government that installed the ATM machine in the Gas station.
I understand where you are coming from.. I have lived in both countries and to my opinion, one country has good implementation mechanism(both private and public) but lacks the will to drive it, this is where I would say Nigeria is better and I have respect for the country.. We are late to start but when we start, the acceptance to such technology model (TAM) becomes massive and in some cases we finish well.

I am also proud of Nigeria too.. But you are not getting the picture clearly.. One distinct uniqueness about ghana and 9ja is peace. There is peace in ghana.. There is law and order.. Nothing like hustle and bustle... No magomago... The serene is alot better.. With one naira or one cedi you can live in peace in ghana But in 9ja you need more money to get to live in peace... In nigeria, there is noise and air pollution but it is not like that in gh.. The air is fresh..

When I was schooling in gh, at night I smell cocoa all over and I was living in a city(kumasi) but when I come to Lagos for holiday, I smell generator fume.. This is bad.. Let us say the truth..
But there are some places in Nigeria that you have peace of mind. Are you telling me that the whole of Nigeria is worst and a small city like Accra is better off?

forget your talk... There is good value for your money in ghana.. Ghana has what it takes to be like the western nation.. Their govt sector works very well.. Their policing system works well, they have a good NHIS better than nigeria.. Their educational sector works. To me, nigeria is a place you go and take advantage of the population, make money and remit back to your country.. The Indians knows this and thats how they are ripping us off...
That's true

irrespective of where I am from and how I was raised, I speak for the public.. We can afford light, water, education, security, health etc but as a poor man in nigeria, you can't afford it.. But in ghana, such poor person can enjoy those things I am enjoying in nigeria.. That makes nigeria messed up..

We Africans we have our problem but here in the states where I live, I rarely here Ghanaians lament about no light, no water, insecurity... But when I am in my nigerian people or community, be it Yoruba, Igbo or pidgin, it is the same complain.. All this makes nigeria jagajaga.

In Ghana, it is a big shame when they play eedris abdulkareem song jagagaga... The song is a hit but the way they all go gaga and mock Nigeria, you will bend your head in the club..

Even my burkinabe gf was disappointed about how disorganized Lagos, Nigeria was when she came visiting.. She said, my country may not be rich as yours but there is a good sense of order living in burkina faso.. She was right when I paid visit to ougadougou and bobodioulasso...
Bros i jst pm u,pls do reply me,i want 2 spend my holidays in burkina faso, tour, how much do u tink it would cost me and how do i get there, its my ist time, kindly reply to my pm pls

There's the possibly that the standard of coca cola product can be compromise. Remember the issue of Nigeria coke being tested in UK were it was rumoured to be poison. Their food and regulatory board are very strict compare to ours. NAFDAC was only functional during late prof Dora Akunyili's era compare to now.

It's not about population joor

Liberia is smaller than both Gh and Ng, yet it is much more jaga jaga than anywhere in Ng or Gh

The US is more populated than Nigeria but is more organised than Nigeria.

And yes, I don travel well well to different countries to see things for myself

Nigerians need to learn how to behave civil.....

That will go a long way in changing this country

Every one is aggressive in Ng
Mtcheew, see u. just California which is a State in the US is bigger than Nigeria so they have a large population and large land area. How can u be comparing US (a developed country) to Nigeria that's still developing

See how neat and orderly the city looks in the pictures...compared to Lagos undecided
Ambode, his cabinet members and entire Lagos State House of Assembly should go to Ghana and learn one or two things angry
Abuja, Uyo, Enugu can be compared to some parts of Ghana
don't be hype with such picture, I have been to Ghana twice and I can tell you that all the pics the op use re the beautiful places in Accra, Accra is just as neat as abuja because it's the capital of Ghana.
But seriously Nigeria controls their economy and that's why things re expensive in Accra.
I ate indomie worth of 8cedi 50pesowas(850naira) for two superpack of indomie and 1 egg.
They have constant light like ivory coast and when u go to Kumasi, it's not beautiful like the country's capital.
Presidential lodge is at the road side, very open and very close to Accra mall or Lagos avenue.

Bro this is not about being loud mouthed. Take it or leave it, many Africans are envious of Nigerians. Especially Ghanaians. Wizkid just won Best International Act Award, in few days time, go and view the video of the award on youtube then take your time to scroll down to comment section, u will see some never do wells from other African countries (especially Ghana) criticizing him and be saying all sort of rubbish against him. If others are condemning one of my own unjustly, I will never join them in doing so. There are a lot crimes taking place in the US on daily basis and they always try as much as possible to cover them up but when it happens in other countries, they would want it to go viral immediately.

lol! "Blocage mentale" as the ivorians would say when they read such statements like yours.. Also, They say " we are loud mouth"..

You know, in Costa Rica, they are referred to as "pura vida" it means “simple life” or “pure life”. Why? Its their way of life.. They don't talk too much.. Costa Rica is seen as the happiest countries in the world, mostly because its inhabitants don’t stress about things the way most foreigners do.

My friend, travel and see the world.. We are loud mouth, we brag too much when we know truly that we are "suffering and smiling "..

the whole of Nigeria isn't worse.. But I am using the big cities of Nigeria to compare that of the big cities in ghana.. The kumasi I schooled in which is like the second or third best in ghana Lagos, calabar, port, is a better.. But there is something I have factored that makes life worth living when in kumasi or Accra is the peace. Leaving your house(light, sec, water= peace) , transportation(3 on a sit= peace) to office(ease of doing business; no much bribes or paying people to b in biz= peace) and office to bank (no metal detector, no much of police escorts o. Bullion vans= peace) ... You are at rest in everything you do there.. You don't think of buying fuel to on generator, or buying large fuel to store perhaps there might be fuel scarcity, you don't see much street fight.. Etc.. You are at rest.. Do u get me?

Why are you guys mad

It's the truth that Ghanaians are more law abiding than Nigerians. Instead of being mad, let us all change, then the change will reflect in our country

I have spent enough time in gh to know that.
Obedience to law might be true but using one city to compare the whole of Nigeria is suicidal.

That is the point many of them fail to see.

When I see how in other countries they are not scared of their law enforcement, but in Nigeria, everybody is jittery around them, it's enough reason to be angry

agreed! When you talk of smartness of we nigerians, I give it to us. But why bring crime as a topic, when you talk of crimes, at least those countries solve crimes better than others(nigeria) . During my stay in Ghana, out of all the prison break I have heard on the news there is a 95%chance of catching those prisoners which the policing have done.. But my country Nigeria, we do hear of prison break most especially in the north and how many they apprehend? A few...

Let me tell you the truth, it is easier committing a crime in nigeria and you can be successful but go and try it in ghana.. You will know how vibrant their policing are..
Why won't people not mock your country when u don't do d right thing..

The only area where I think Ghana has an edge is in their orderliness and discipline. Apart from that there is no way they can be compared with Nigeria both in terms of economy strength (GDP) and infrastructural development. And again OP, you don't use Lagos alone as a yardstick to measure Nigeria. For instance, while we may agree that Lagos is noisy and very competitive, the same cannot be said of other places such as Abuja,Calabar,Akwa Ibom,Minna etc. We appreciate how you shared your Ghana experience with us but then you need to be objective by comparing apple with apple and not comparing apple with orange.Nigeria is better than Ghana by all standard.
