I know so many lazy men wont agree with this subject but this is the truth why should a husband want to share his responsibity with his wife and still want her respect? |

mavinc4u:Don't mind that mrbrown whatever. He wants to use caplocks and exclamation marks and bolded letters to win argument when he isn't making sense. Can you imagine the rubbish talk? He's claiming houseboy and housegirl will be there to cook and do housechores so the man and woman won't have to do it as if it's 100% of all homes that have househelps. He will never agree with what you say even if you talk from now till eternity. Men want women to submit decision making to them, they want to claim superiority and leadership. They want the woman to be in charge of cooking and cleaning and childcare at the same time they want the same woman to share duty of providing 50/50 with the husband.. Foolish scammers. 4 Likes |

While its a good thing to do all these, never expect that they will solve your issues when they arise. Humans are dynamic. There is nothing you can DO to secure all 100% of your spouses love and respect. Not touching her money wont save you when the crises come. If you love someone, treat the person the way you would want to be treated, but never expect the same in return. Otherwise, you are setting yourself up for disappointments. |

mavinc4u:For me it is not even a must that she shares financial responsibilities, but i just think she will feel more sense of belonging if she also put her money in the family. She would swallow less sh1t from the man and his family if she is financially involved in the family. Even if the man is rich and can foot all the bills, a wise lady shouldn't let him shoulder all financial responsibilities. I am surprised that some modern day ladies are still comfortable with her man being the bread winner while she only eats his bread. How then do you expect fidelity and respect from him 2 Likes 1 Share |

Most Nigerian women have a "messed" up mentality. I think it largely has to do with upbringing. 2 Likes 1 Share |

goodies4life: Typical bimbo who understands nothing else but Ini Edo, Tonto Dike, Jim Iyke...and Telemundo at best. Trollop, it's not about being "lazy" (duh, you fools would regard Evans the Kidnapper as hardworking). It's about how you ALL want to eat your cake and have it. Life doesn't work that way. I have no problem with the classical status quo. I shall bear the full financial responsibility, and also be the typical African head of the household. However, what I have a massive problem with is the African feminist rubbish of wanting the best of both worlds.. Don't raise hell when you find out that I have one or two, or even three or more side chicks outside to help me relax better as a "naturally polygamous' African man that I am. The moment you start dragging right with me, that you can also cheat or you dare to expect me to be faithful to you then that's when you must be very very very extremely mad. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your financial obligation-free life, and be 100% faithful while at it, but don't dare expect me to give up my male privileges. I will cheat, and you should be faithful. It's as simple as that. Just enjoy your role and shut the Bleep up. That doesn't mean I'll rub my extramarital adventures in your yellow face. Just don't think you're entitled to own me 100%, or worse still, that you have the right to "do as I do". Don't try to sing any irritating and fake 'gender equality' song at all. That's all there is to it, at least from my point of view. 4 Likes 1 Share |

mavinc4u:I thought i was communicating with a reasonable person, not knowing that you are one of the dunces around here. Do you know me from anywhere? No! Yet you typed the above trash because i gave a candid advice based on what i feel and what happens around me. I know your type. You are the type that fail to come to terms with reality until they fall into trouble. FYI, i have two elder sisters who are married and are doing wonderfully well in their marriages because they make contributions to the upkeep of their homes, hence their husbands treat them like queens which they are. I also know those with this your mindset who are being treated like slaves in their homes. I may not be married yet but i am in a position to advise you. It is because of people like you that i don't pity ladies who are treated like trash by their husbands. For me, i am a professional and money will definitely not be my problem, but the truth has to be told. You don't have any right to call your husbands house your home if you don't invest your finance in that home. You will only live at the mercy of your husband and your voice should not be heard. 5 Likes |

Jman06: I didn't bother reading your trash but you can advice yourself properly along with those your sisters who are dancing to be loved. Their husbands respect them because they contribute money meaning the day they refuse to contribute, they would be battered. Oh my word, there is nothing one will not read on this forum. Those guys probably married them because of contribution and not because they have something special, advice those your sisters wisely because of tomorrow My Belle don burst. 1 Like |

Op if you decide to leave your wife's money alone that is your business I just hope and pray you are already married, it is always good to give your wife some responsibility to shoulder especially those women doing business. 80 percent of women who own their business are not serious and dont make profit from it(cause their husband shoulders it all) I have friends that keep paying for shop rent and office spaces all the time and giving capital over and over again a business venture is not for show off it is for making money (hence why you have to give them responsibilities so they can take this businesses serious) Many forget a time will come when you won't be able to work anymore think of your retirement ,this is the pathway to become a beggar after retirement (this is not our portion in Jesus name). |

Re: "Leave Your Wife’s Money Alone" - Nigerian Man Tells Other Men by Nobody: 11:07pm On Dec 04, 2017 |
goodies4life: it depends, everything is not really black and white per se, unless in this context the man has the much more financial capability to do both, because in a realistic situation, you will have rent to pay, kids school fees, money for the upkeeping of the house, we've not even entered savings for the future, talk-less of rainy days, at that rate, the husband will obviously get burnt out struggling to provide alone with no assistance, though i find it weird that a wife would knowingly know her husband is pushing the world to cater for the family and do nothing to help out, if anything I would say that's quick way for the guy to get frustrated pretty much fast. That's how i see it, most guys would love to provide willingly but economically and financially it's not only difficult but mentally draining. |

Jman06: Get lost, you are one of the lazy men we have in this country who have sworn to be lazy all their life. If you are a hard working man, I bet you won't notice your wife's money at all. Always deceiving themselves. What is difficult for you to do if not laziness and and selfishness, choose western style or African style through out, don't mix the two yet you will mix it where it favours you. And please don't quote me again because you lack it all. 1 Like |

This may sound good to a lot of people but to a wife who truly wants to be a wife and helper to the family, this is very boring. What then do you expect the woman to do with her money? Just shop and flex? Even God created the woman to be a man's helper and I believe that includes but not restricted to financial assistance. 1 Like |

Of course na. Women are created to be helpers to men while men can choose whether or not they want to help their wives. mtscheew There is nothing you will tell a Nigerian man that will make him agree to enter kitchen and cook for the family even if it's just two days a week while the wife just sits down relaxing. They will tell you they can only do it if she's sick or too tired. But if a woman ventures to open her mouth and say she will only bring money when husband is sick all hell will break loose. Both of them have stressful jobs o, they come back in the evening tired and worn out but the wife must run after kids to organize them, clean house up and then cook food and come and present to oga while he is watching TV in parlor. Even if he decides to help her once in a while he will do it with the mind that he's doing her a big favor and will tell himself it's not his full time responsibility. But the wife must bring from her money. It's her responsibility and she is obligated to do so. 2 Likes |
