Are you minding the dolt? They boast about helping other states boost their economies, populations and even IGR, yet they can't replicate similar feat in their own region/backyard. If a credible census is held in Nigeria today, the SW region will record the most populous states, with Lagos, Ogun and Oyo taking the top 3 spots. With emphasis on credible. You can quote me when it happens.

Dat can't happen coz d northern part use population rigging to enhance der monthly allocation. Truly der many people in can be Lagos is more populated than kano.

They'll run away from their region to the SW as expected lol. Ungrateful refugees grin Nothing exciting is happening in Yiboland apart from Innoson. And it's even Nigerians from all regions doing their best to support him plus government support. Obaino used to deceive us until he was exposed as the fraud he is. There was one guy that was building medical research centre in Anambra. We haven't heard anything since then grin

[b]Nigeria is set to get another new oil refinery as a government push to end fuel imports attracts investors to the industry.

Petrolex Oil & Gas Limited plans to build a $3.6bn plant with a capacity of 250,000 barrels a day, its Chief Executive Officer, Segun Adebutu, said in an interview with Bloomberg in Lagos. The closely held company is working on the “front-end engineering design” and will complete construction in 2021, he said.

Nigeria, Africa’s biggest oil-producing nation, doesn’t have adequate refining capacity and imports at least 70 percent of its needs. A government pledge to end such purchases in the next two years by building local capacity has lured investors, including Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, who is constructing a 650,000-barrel-a-day refinery. Meanwhile Saipem SpA and other international companies are in talks to rehabilitate the country’s three existing plants.

Petrolex, whose CEO started an oil and fuel trading business about 12 years ago, has also built a storage tank farm and other mid-stream infrastructure for $330m, Adebutu said.

The inauguration of the tank farm and the start of the refinery construction, both at the same site in Ibefun, Ogun State, is planned for this month.

The tanks are connected to a pipeline at Mosimi, which will transport products around the country, according to the CEO, who sees a big market in Nigeria’s 180 million-strong population. Petrolex will finance the refinery project with loans from local and international lenders, as well as its own revenue, he said.

The company also plans a fertilizer plant and lubricants facility as well as a liquefied petroleum gas plant, Adebutu said.

Petrolex is targeting listing on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in the next 10 years to ensure the business outlives its owners and can fund future expansion, according to Adebutu.

“By the next five years, we would have achieved a significant amount of our ambition, then begin strategy talks with the stock exchange,” he added.

That professional liar grin

See for yourself :
What is trending now is how the lie told by Willie Obiano's media aides was exposed. The story went that two girls that were sponsored to a debate competition who came last position took pictures with the governor of Anambra State while brandishing placards bearing "we won" only for someone to check the website of the competition and saw that they actually failed woefully. Disillusioned Anambrarians are venting their anger at the deception now recalling several other deceptive information that had been passed on by the same government.

The Facebook post read thus;

THE MOTHER OF ALL DECEIT

https://www.tabroom.com/index/tourn/results/event_results.mhtml?tourn_id=7725&result_id=43731

If you recall, I shared a post here about three girls from Anambra state who went to Bali, Indonesia and (supposedly) won the World Schools Debate. They are the ones in this picture, with their state governor.
My heart is bleeding now as I tell you what actually happened. The debate consisted of 53 countries. Nigeria, represented by those girls from Anambra placed a distant 48 out of 53!!! Now that was not the problem.
The problem is, probably the teachers or some other persons presented the teachers and the girls to the state governor as the winners of the debate. They printed a giant poster proclaiming WORLD CHAMPIONS. Both the teachers and the students worked in collusion. And that was how they were presented to the state governor who received them with beaming smiles. And quickly rewarded them with cash and sponsorship programmes to schools of their choice.
Thanks to technology someone now saw the link and found out that the team and students scammed their own governor and deceived the whole of Nigeria, Africa and the world. What a shame. Now, are these the leaders of tomorrow? The signs ahead are dark and ominous. I weep. World Champions my bootlace!
