My people, which one we dey? so, even common music we no dey.

Nigeria is a poor country and one of the easiest way for the youth 2 get out of poverty is thru music and sport. Where will 2face be 2day without is breakthru in music? Probably doing yahoo yahoo or doing one odd job like majority of nigerians where the pay can not pay ur rent.
9ja music is 4 survival while catch fun. It easy the tension and frustration foster on us by our bad govt. U get d lyrics or not u can't help it tapping ur feet, sharking ur body and sing along when u hear 9ja music. The people wnt 2 hear something they can flow wit and not benthoven or mozart dt remind u u'v not eaten ur lunch. Fellow 9ja abroad who think 9ja music is trash: think again! Why did weird MC, Dbanj and host of others had 2 reture 2 9ja 2 make a hit making them muiltimillioniares. Some 9ja music lack lyric but definitly not the beat and rythem.

People like complaining sha. Some people don't even know what good Music is and just bop their heads to anything that plays on the radio. I noticed something though. Many people listen to music just to look cool and not to feed their souls. Granted when you are in the club you should dance to party songs etc,  but how about when you are walking alone? When you are just sober and feel a need to look inward? Party songs are a huge distractions from the real you. Ipod generation. Shame!!! Don't blame the music blame your self. All through history of music good and bad music has been.Now if you don't listen to good music doesn't mean they don't exist.
