No doubt, there are uncivil and barbaric elements within the herdsmen but the nature of the killings in Benue indicate that there is a lot more to those killings than what we see in the news. An illegally armed militia by Benue indigenes will not help matters much. Both sides would just become lethal and out to destroy the other. This is what is already happening.
