Whoever dug up these pictures must be high on cow piss... Amaechi built over 200 brand new schools in Rivers state with structures and conducive environments which would make even the best private school owners green with envy; the structures are still there for aall to see. Yet in 2018, some clown chooses schools as one of the areas to mock Amaechi?

Is Amaechi still the governor of Rivers state?... Does rivers state not have a governor who's been in seat for about 3 years? Where are the schools built by the current governor?....

Sentiments aside, when Amaechi was governor, he built the best primary and secondary school structures in Nigeria.

The ones Fashola built in Lagos could never beat Amaechi schools (I moved to Lagos in the twilight of the Fashola administration).

He employed 10,000 teachers with non-indigenes numbering about 3,000.

Those teachers were graduates and they earned 60-65k monthly.

Yes, I have these facts because I taught in one of those schools as a corps member in 2012.

It seems politics has made us lose our senses in this country!

Truth be told Ameachi did excellently well as governor of Rivers especially with respect to education. You can use something else to criticize Ameachi but educational infrastructure? Mba. He renovated and reconstructed almost all the primary and secondary schools in Rivers during his time.

Amaechi didnt renovate old rickety schools, he built brand new ones at the same location of the old ones and it's on record that he built HUNDREDS of the most beautiful public schools any state in Nigeria can boast of. If you look beyond your nose in that picture, you would clearly see the newer replacement structure. This picture supplied by the Op seems very much contrived.

The truth of the matter is that anyone, politically motivated or not, who wants to mock Amaechi's achievements in Rivers state and decides to use schools, such a person is an irredeemable clown.

my friend just stay out here because Amaechi is the most corrupt man in Rivers State + the brother yet I give award to Wike because is better off....Amaechi left almost all the road in Portharcourt just for little misunderstanding but Wike is doing it for us here, me and you know that politicians can't offer us anything apart from road, light, water and transport yet he denied us all of these. Firstly, Amaechi is from Ubima not Igwuruta.

Secondly, Amaechi's projects and developmental program transcends every corner of the state, he surpassed every other governor that have served in Rivers State in
the context of developmental projects, not excluding Spiff. Amaechi built and equipped hundreds of public schools that on one occasion, former president Jonathan confessed in Eleme-Rivers State that in his tours across the country he has never seen a public school well built and equipped like what he has seen in Rivers state. today, rather than build more projects to complement existing ones a secondary school in Eleme-Rivers State is converted to a polytechnic by Wikes administration, why others are abandoned to rot away. "Rivers state was ranked as world book capital under Amaechi's leadership, don't forget that."

Thirdly, without conceding, let's assume it's a public school in Amaechi's community, does it not fall within the sitting governors purvey to put it right.

Lest i forget, the people of Rivers State are dying rapidly as a result of the deadly soot inhaled on daily basis, yet the state government has kept numb, while the activity of the perpetrators go on unabated.
