Who has voting helped in Nigeria? You vote or you dont vote, things are getting worse by the day. So what is the essense of voting?

They dont vote in China but the country is fast becoming a super power nation.

Voting wont help the masses in Nigeria, Nigeria simply does not work

Did you say they don't vote in China? Your President just congratulated the Chinese President for his electoral victory.

If voting wouldn't help Nigeria elect good leaders, what would help?

Please we want to learn.

All this because of winning Or rigging an election for governor? See the ZOO and waste of public funds

See the Oyibo colonizer there looking at a bunch of fools, who’s forefathers were Biafrans but descendants have turned into Niggers as the others in the ZOO
I can understand your pain, after the threats of election boycott and harming anybody voting last November, you and your group can't just believe this could happen because your oga at the top said so. Sorry bro, it finally came to pass to your shame

See them, they won't canvass for an Igbo president but always fixated on having presidents from other regions, tomorrow they'll be the ones shouting Fulani, Yoruba born to rule mentality.

Go face Somali politics and stop poking your nose here. Nwa Anambra wanna be, we all can't be from here.
See him already supporting Maku for president as if there are no better Igbo people to do the job.

You can clone all your monikers here to reply me but Emma powerlessness said only 10,000 people actually voted, I equally agree with you and him that that was the lowest turn out in the history of the state.
Shame on IPOB and all it represents.
Stop believing the lies of those frustrated Ipods. The voter turnout for the 2017 Anambra guber election was higher than those of 2010 and 2013. You can google the results yourself. Ipod failed woefully in their attempt to disrupt the election. They forgot that Anambra indigenes don't take orders from lesser Igbos.

Leave them to their hate for others, this is how they go about causing problems for innocent Igbos. They hate everybody around them who doesn't believe their IPOB doctrine even if the person turns out to be their biological father.
Imagine a beautiful thread such as this and they are trying so much to derail it because their oga at the top had told them that it would never happen and it finally did.

[size=12pt][color=#990000][b]Part of the reason the SYSTEM emasculate Igbo is the refusal of the today's Igbo youths to VOTE

They always say it does not CONCERN them who wins or not.We But when people like Buhari win and start closing their businesses and bringing draconian ideas just to target them, they suddenly realize that it truly CONCERNS them who rules and acquires executive powers to hurt them.

I have said it, the northern almajirir child will stand in the sun to get PVC and vote even when they are not voting age, but our people are too big or too busy to participate? Then they give excuses and say, their vote does not matter because the preferred candidate will win. No problems! In time, we shall all see the results of the disastrous behavior not to participate because we think it doesn't concern us. If others elect wicked parochial characters who will look after their interest, you can only blame yourself for not voting your preferred candidate.

OK. You have said it at level of your understanding as pertain to Nigeria politics. Go and ask the Northerners and the Almajiris what they have benefited from Buhari Government.

Splitting the nation into as many parts as possible. That's the answer one always seems to get these days from a certain group of people as the holy grail solution of solutions to all of Nigeria's problems.

Let those jokers be, all they know to the solution to the nation's problems is a split but when asked how they intend going about the split, you'd realize they know next to nothing aside online ranting and what their oga at the top had told them earlier. No rational thinking about the past and present situation but what the oga at the top had said earlier.

They do not vote in China, have you ever heard that China went to the polls to elect a leader? What happens in China is that the communist party votes on who should be leader and that leader becomes President. That is not democracy. Buhari congratulated a leader who emerged by a non democratic process.

Voting cannot help Nigeria, and this is not even about electing good leaders, this is about if Nigeria works as a nation. You can elect all the best leaders in the world but if something does not work, it wont work.

Nigeria is like a bad car that has long outlived its usefullness. If you like, elect the best drivers and car mechanics in the world, the car will never run at its optimum level.

So what is the solution? Scrap the car and let the passengers go and find different vehicles that might take them to where they want to go instead of the passengers remaining in the dead car and constantly quarelling about why the car is not moving well.

Nice logic you brought up there but if I may ask you something, if the car collectively belongs to us and we just have to scrap it, who does the scrap belong to when we all leave the car?
If we decide to sell the scrap, who takes what after its sale?
What if some of us decides not to sell the scrap and others want it sold, how do you go about convincing the other group since you know you can't take a unilateral decision on something that belongs to all.

The truth is always bitter, Jonathan was a nice man but the bad eggs (Cabals) around didn't allow him to shine, some group of people thought that he was bad & corrupt, until they finally booted him out & replaced with the already corrupted Chief Dictator in General IDI AMIN BUHARI. Little did they know that they just signed the book of Lamentation from Chapter 1-End.
Chinua Achebe : "When things fall apart apart, the center cannot hold again" What's affecting Nigeria today is the forcefully amalgamation of Indigenous nations. The amalgamation of Nigeria was sealed on the blood sacrifice of oath. That's is the reason why there's killing everywhere. Is only God will save Nigeria or divide her.
If you like vote till Jesus Come, Nigeria will not be better than Dubai, until the blood sacrifice of oath is broken.

The issue is that those that vote most get fuccked up most. The same almajiri that voted Buhari are being bomb daily by Nigeria Airforce and Buhari don't give a danm.
The same almajiri that voted for Buhari are being shrink by malnutrition, terrorists chasing them out of their houses and Buhari don't give a danm.

Igbos voted for Jonathan and have nothing to show for it, please let them keep voting, good or bad we are in the same mess together.

At least you acknowledged that you are in the same mess with those that voted...

Second terms are solely for looting and nothing more.

One term of five years is enough for any serious minded leader to accomplish his mission and gerraway for good.

Some of them hardly understand what four years is short before they finish basking in the euphoria of their new office their tenure is over so they now get the reality by seeking another solely to come and steal.

The electorate must say NO to any second term bid it is for looting only because they know they are never coming back.

So the plant their protege's to carry on so as to cover their tracks.
