This is enough waste to power the state for 3 days

Shows they are not proactive in their thinking. Methane gas produced from biodegradation can be used to generate electricity, the organic components of the waste can be used to produce fertilizer and some of the inorganic can be recycled.

You see why i have told you guys you can never claim Lagos is a No man's land. When it is bad we face the backlash alone but when it is good news you fools we start shouting No man's land.

Yet another mo'ronic piggy that will breed children of hate and feed them with unending hatred and make them dare the military foolishly till they meet their waterloo. This particular tribe will never learn. Other tribes are moving forward and they are busy producing generation of haters. I still wonder why they go to church on Sundays enmass, especially this kind.

...let me just ignore your gutter language obviously you are part of the problem.
Comparatively Lagos has the resources to tackle the issue ... but unfortunately a particular tribe are garbage junkies ...so don't take your frustration on an environmental sensitive state.

Ambode did something terrible and he must pay for it. It's like Removing a Manager of a big company with many years of working experience and replacing him with a fresh graduate from school.

He should have employed the so called Visionscape to work hand in hand with LAWMA and the PSP operators until they have enough capacity to replicate and even improve better on the existing system.

the worst decision Ambode made was him cancelling the environmental sanitation and then giving the contracts to visionscape owned by a legilooter callet Tinubu.
lagos has totally become an entity of dirts, this situation neeeds to be taqckled.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL ALWAYS GET FROM A GREEDY FRAUDULENT GOVERNMENT THAT WANTS TO CONVERT ALL PROPERTIES AND BUSINESS FOR PERSONAL USE. THE GREEDY GOVERNOR BANNED THE LAG BUSSES FROM PLYING THE BRT LANE SO THAT THEY COULD MAKE SO MUCH MONEY FROM THE FRAUDULENT BRT BUSES WHICH THEY CLAIM THEY DO NOT OWN. THE MANAGEMENT OF THE BRT WHO ARE THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS CARELESS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND JUST WANT TO MAKE MONEY. PEOPLE ARE STRANDED AT TERMINALS WITH NO REASONABLE ALTERNATIVES AND THEIR USELESS WORKERS WHO GOT EMPLOYED THROUGH NEPOTISM/CRONYISM WILL IGNORE COMMUTERS. IF YOU ASK THEM QUESTIONS, THEY WON'T EVEN ANSWER. YOU CALL CUSTOMER CARE, THEY TALK TO YOU LIKE THEY ARE TIRED AND CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO PHUCK OFF THE PHONE AS YOU ARE DISTURBING THEM.

THEY HAVE CARRIED THE SAME GREED TO SCRAP PSP AND BRING THEIR PERSONAL BUSINESS VISIONLESSSCOPE TO DEFRAUD NIGERIANS AND CONTINUE TO MAKE BILLIONS OFF THE PEOPLE. WHY WON'T LAGOS BE DIRTY? A USELESS VISION-LESS COMPANY THAT CANNOT MANAGE ANYTHING INTENTIONALLY SCRAPPED PSP JUST SO THEY MAKE ALL THE MONEY ALONE. JUST WAIT TILL THESE VAGABONDS START TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH YOU MUST PAY BEFORE THEY DISPOSE YOUR WASTE. THAT IS THEIR EVIL PLAN. TO OWN EVERYTHING AND MAKE THE MONEY ALONE. TO KILL OTHER COMPETITORS AND IMPOVERISH THE MASSES.

YET YOU HAVE AIRHEADS EVERYWHERE SUPPORTING A USELESS AND FRAUDULENT GOVERNMENT.

SOMEBODY SHOULD ASK AMBODE WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS STREET LIGHTS AFTER MAKING NOISE ALL OVER THE MEDIA ABOUT LIGHTING UP LAGOS? ITESIWAJU EKO SCAMMERS.

Lagos is really filthy and carbon emissions are off the charts. Trees are not in every street, gutters and drainage systems are blocked. Too much heat from traffic jams. The sun aint helping too.

I am scared for my health. I go soon flee go village. The air is becoming poison

Directly to the OP, what's your view on this?...... What would you have done If you were to profer solution to this?.....I will say it's rather due or part of development. Or what do you say when the whole available spaces are already industrialised..all roads Tarred.. ALL ANGLES ALWAYS WANT TO LOOK GORGEOUS ..THIS IS .basically because of the fast growing rate of Lagos in all sectors which had made even an abandoned large dumping grounds to be tenable for sale.....YOU WILL HARDLY SEE AN ABANDONED PLOT OR PORTION OF LAND USELESS OR DORMANT IN LAGOS......THIS IS SIMPLY BEACAUSE LAND IS LIKE GOLD IN LAG.

The only solution I can proffer is ....proper checking on how even The communals make use of the bins being provided by Lagos state Government ..and strict adherence to general public sanitation.... #Keeplagosclean

As usual waste management contract offered to a company that has no experience or knowledge on how to perform the task. Just as in many things done in Lagos. That's why serious investors don't deal with the folks in government. They are too dubious.
Re: Filthy Lagos In Pictures: What Every Part Of Lagos Now Have In Common by Nobody: 3:54pm On Mar 19, 2018
@0p why are you trying to discredit LASG by posting last month pictures? When was the last time you pass through all this routes?
You are just allowing the children of hate to spew rubbish on this thread.
Mind you most of them only see Lagos on newspaper and are looking for transport fare to come to Lagos
