After days of speculation, it has been confirmed that North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un has visited China.
The visit, confirmed by China and North Korea, was Mr Kim's first known foreign trip since taking office in 2011.
Mr Kim held "successful talks" with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Beijing, China's Xinhua news agency reported.
China is North Korea's main economic ally and it was thought highly likely it would consult Beijing before planned summits with South Korea and the US.
Mr Kim is due to meet South Korean President Moon Jae-in in April, and US President Donald Trump in May.
The Beijing visit is considered a significant step in North Korea's preparation for the proposed talks.

If you haven't noticed, western influence will soon be a thing of the past when more countries begin to look to China and Russia for trade, financial bail outs and protection. In North Korea, China has gotten a powerful ally that can send the US back to the stone age if it comes to that. Merkel of Germany knows this and the next major move on this chess board is hers. After all she has just been reelected for the third abi fourth time, Putin for the fourth time, Jinpin is president for life while Kim has a firm hold on his country.

I predict South Korea will change their pro-American policies in the near future and that would make the US lose whatever power they hold in eastern Asia. Then Israel will truly be cut off from all allies.

Sorry you were saying North Korea is more developed,well through their nukes i could agree with you but in other areas sir you are mostly wrong. North Korea ration almost everything,all the tilling of the ground done by their farmers most produce are sent to the military with little or nothing for the citizens apart from strong men and political office holder[why do their citizens eat grass],like i found out in North Korea you cant express yourself without you been sent to concentration sites where the person is gonna die through hunger or been fired for not working diligently, the government there controls virtually everything including the media,its only what they want you to know that you will know[2010 world cup they fooled the citizens that they reached the finals] you cant browse the outside world. Fewer or less cars can be seen in North Korea since they have strong embargo in bringing in goods and commodities and investors dont go there since they know its a danger zone mostly citizens join long queue to get into bus to take them to their destinations and those that cannot queue trek[its either you trek or ride a bicycle or wait for long queue for 3-4hrs] though i tend to agree with you about the homeless there and their beautiful apartment but what is the essence of been in a country with strict rules to follow everyday, i kow you wont be appy if someone tells you to wake up at 6am and go to bed at 10pm or cant watch videos on the youtube it sounds ridiculous

Trump is an irrational president. He does not think things through and is very unpredictable, he could launch nuclear weapons before his brain actually works out he has done it - Kim is not afraid of predictable leaders, just the unpredictable ones.
Trump is under fire and could use nuking North Korea to ramp up support, Kim knows that.

USA practiced "isolationism" before the world-war!
They were not part of the world-war wahala because they didn't meet 'levels'.
However, after Hitler's Germany,United Kingdom and Russia had suffered gravely USA stepped in and they're still here!!

North Korea in my view is getting more from the proposed negotiations with other world power I. e China, U. S, Japan North Korea nd Russia. Until the Korean war they never wanted to become a nuclear power but were forced to do so because of sanctions from the west. They were also backed by China, Russia nd Iran who has sustained their economy in an attempt to curb western influence in east Asia but recently they have taken advantage of the present division in western democracies I.e Usa elections, U. S first policies Germany's elections, brexit. They are in a stronger negotiating position than they will ever be. Well played Kim there is a reason he was chosen to succeed over his brother.
