The lectures we had today were based
on entrepreneurship development but
the hall was so full so I had
to stay outside, along the platoon 6
lane. Ella called me to know where I
am and I told her am at the same
spot we stood yesterday. We chatted
all through the period of the
entrepreneurship lecture under the
hot
sun. Am really enjoying her company
as we were free with each other
discussing so many things like
camp, guys in camp, her interest, the
guys disturbing her, etc
The entrepreneurship lecture ended
around 1.05pm and everyone was
happy and they had to rush out of
the hall and straight to their various
hostel. I did some washing before
going to the kitchen to get the yam
porridge that was served this
afternoon. After having the lunch, the
trumpet was blown for evening drill
and the platoon games. The OBS
Studio was dry following the incident
that happened in the studio this
morning with the soldier man. Mighty
mic came around and everyone
reported the incidence to him and
he said the matter would be reported
to the camp director, T.K Shenge. We
headed out and were surprised
that the soldiers were out already for
the evening drills. I separated myself
from the guys on the volleyball
drills. I approached captain Aminu
that I won’t be able to join the drills
because I have to report the
evening events for the OBS. After the
whole 90mins has been played, the
game between platoon 5 and
my platoon, platoon 6 ended in a 1-1
draw which eventually ends in a
penalty shoot-out which was won
by platoon 5 by 4-3.
We left for the studio immediately
and for the first time; I anchored the
sport update show. Nonso later
came around and we had a great show
together. Heading back to the hostel, I
met my guys outside the
hostel; they were gisting in front of
the girl’s hostel. The landlord is a
major culprit though; you can never
trust that guy. Tuwo and okro was the
combination for the night and since I
couldn’t eat that, I went to
mama Amaka’s restaurant where I
was later joined by Ugo and Margret,
the new friend I just made from
the whatsapp group. The social night
was anchored by Ekene and Jessica
and it didn’t have much action
like the previous night. By 9.25pm,
the show was done and we all headed
back to our hostel where we all
talked and gisted till we all slept off. 2 Likes |

ND OF DECEMBER 2015 DAY 8 IN
CAMP “THE CLINIC”
I was awake around 3.25am the
harmattan was too much. I felt
reluctant to stand at first but I
remembered
I was not at my father’s house so I
hurriedly stood up from bed, fetched
a bucket of water from the well.
By 3.58am, I was done with the
bathing and dressing. Calculating by
my time, I still have like 30minutes
to sleep before going for the morning
drills.
By 4.44am, the trumpet sounded and I
woke up, put on my shoes before
heading out to the field. Did
anyone remember captain
Nwabunike? (The captain that
punished my guy and i) I heard he is
back and as
usual, he has started to dish out
different punishment styles to any
corper who does not behave well or
did
not greet him. (Laughs) Military
people sha. I no wan do frog jump this
morning abeg. After reciting the
Nysc anthem, the national anthem and
the pledge, announcement was made
and captain Aminu informed
us that it is time for the platoon 6 to
fill the book of life. We marched to
the area of the registration ground
where we lined up like primary school
children. I also discovered that one of
the OBS girls was in the
same platoon with me, Seyi by name
(Surname withheld). That was the first
time I will be seeing her on
the queue ever since the camp
started. Talking about Seyi, we
actually met yesterday at the parade
ground
when I was covering the platoon 5 and
platoon 6 games. She sat beside me all
through the game and I just
can’t help but to start a conversation
with her. Back to the present, the
presido of the platoon, Opeyemi
aka Alopay announced that the entire
OBS member must be present on the
queue too so I went away to
call Tonye and the rest. On getting to
the studio, I called the rest of the guys
and I discovered has left the
queue and she was sitting in the
studio shivering. I put off my sweater
for her to wear but that still didn’t
help matter. The football game referee
was the bearer of the book of life. He
announced that the book will
be filled according to our numbers so
anybody whose numbers is still far
(that is over 1000) should give
way first. Since Seyi’s platoon number
is above 1000, I told her of the girls to
lead her back to the studio.
I got her platoon number and I
promised to help her information
when it is her time to fill her. 2 Likes |

PART 28
As an OBS member, we were
privileged (after some special
arrangement as being made) to get
everyone’s breakfast to the studio.
After filling the book, I went to the
studio to have my breakfast. I was
standing close to where seyi sat down.
The way she was sitting and eating
indicates that she is not feeling
too well at all. Within a minute or
two, she rushed outside to vomit. I
was looking through the window
while I was still eating. Something
pushed me from where I was standing
so I rushed out to where she
was. She was trying to vomit but
nothing seems to come out of her
throat and its making her weak. I held
her to avoid her falling and before I
know it, she slumped. With a speed of
a superman, I backed her and
started rushing to the camp clinic.
Immediately I got to the clinic, a bed
was arranged for her when they
see how urgent and serious her illness
was. I stood with her all through the
stay of the doctor. The doctor
told me to get her some food and
water after she has been giving 2
injections. I rushed straight to
Mamme
market to get her a plate of white rice.
Getting back to the clinic, I saw Dafe
already with her. I fed her
with the food but she was only able to
eat just 4 spoons of the foods. I gave
her the drugs the doctor asked
me to give her after she has eaten.
She tried to vomit it but I controlled
her and she steadied her sitting
position. Ruth, the phonetic girl in
OBS is also some bed away from the
bed Seyi was admitted. The
trumpet was sounded for the morning
lectures but am still here in the clinic
sitting here with seyi, on
behalf of the OBS Crew, time check
9.47am.
About an hour later, seyi woke up and
requested she wants to urinate. I
called the matron to come and
remove the drip on her hands. After
the drip has been removed, Busayo
and I helped her to the toilet. I
stood some distance away and took
her back when she was through.
Around 12.05pm, the next patient
beside us requested she has to eat.
The doctor begged me to assist her in
getting her food at the mamee
market. I was given a written note
which I didn’t use at all because
nobody stopped me on the way and
none of the soldiers even mined me.
Am back to the clinic by 12.20pm. Seyi
was feeling much better. She
put her head on my laps but the
unfortunate scene happening in the
clinic is the patients who are in pains
as a result of finished drugs and un-
equipped clinic. 1 Like |

PART 29
It’s really so sad that the clinic
provided to take care of over 2,000
corpers is not well equipped. The
question is “Is it until a life is lost
before we know the right thing to do?
That is the condition we find
ourselves in Nigeria, waiting to let
things go worst before doing the right
thing. I couldn’t withstand the
crying of the patients any more so I
rushed to the hostel to meet ugo who
gave me N500 while Goddy
also added N1000, I added N1500 to it
to make it N3000. When I got back to
the clinic, I called Mighty
Mic to inform him about the
emergency and what should be done.
In less than a minute, he was here
with
the manager, Moses. I told them the
situation on ground and how much I
have been able to get. He
requested to see the doctor and they
both rushed to meet the pro of the
camp. I was frustrated and sad to
the extent that I started shedding
tears. The girl was crying in pains and
agony. Something has to be done
very urgent. Like I said earlier, it’s not
until a life is lost before we know the
right thing to do.
Ugo called me to come back to the
hostel which was unlike him. When I
got there, he was set for the
man’o war practice but his khaki
trouser don tear for yansh. Funny guy!
He is getting big everyday
despite the condition in camp.
(Laughs) I gave him my khaki trousers
to wear before I returned to the
clinic to meet Seyi. When it was
6.59pm, I was called that the dinner
was ready so I left the clinic for the
studio. Platoon 5 sef try. The jollof rice
they cooked was still okay. Ekene
called me that I had to
participate in the evening show so
that leaves me with no option. We had
the show for 30 minutes before
we round off. Dafe and precious will
be anchoring the social night today
according to the time table. I
went back to the hostel to get my
power bank and charger before
heading back to the clinic. I asked
Seyi
what she will be eating so I could go
and get it for her. She demanded for
noodles and egg. Ella has been
calling me to ask maybe we can see
during the social night. I promised her
I will call her. After getting the
noodles at the mamee, I had to feed
Seyi like a baby before I went fort the
social night. I couldn’t cover
the events as I wanted because Ella
and I were just discussing all through
the period the show was on. At
9.42pm, the show was off and every
corper had to head to their various
hostel. Ella and I walked back to
the path leading to my hostel. She
requested to read some of my books
for the night since she was bored. I
went to the hostel to get my blanket
and the book and within 5 minutes, I
was back to the clinic. I gave
Seyi her medications while I still tried
to convince her to eat a little but she
refused. At 10.15pm, an
emergency case was brought to the
clinic as a girl was rushed in into the
female ward. Later on, I
discovered she was an asthma patient.
Na wa o. After some minutes, the
camp commandant came in. I
was scared and was about to pee in
my pants. He came with some of his
escort. As usual, he was walking
with his walking stick. He asked me
what I was doing there and I
explained the situation on ground to
him. He told me to leave for my hostel
immediately that I should leave her
that the nurse would take care
of her. I got to my hostel by 10.45pm.
Landlord and his entourage were still
up arguing about their yeye
politics. It’s been a shocking and
uneventful day. Sitting for over 10
hours at the clinic! All is well. Good

rd OF DECEMBER 2015 “DAY 9 IN
CAMP” “THE LECTURES”
I can’t believe its 3.20am already.
Ejike’s ringing tone had been what
has been waking me up for some
time now. Ejike the bad guy! At this
jet age, he still makes extra cool calls
at night, disturbing everybody
with his calls. I got up to fetch water
from the well. I just have to make up
for some things I was not able
to do yesterday. The most important
of them is to wash all the dirty clothes
before the morning parade.
After a short queue, I had my bath,
ran like a mad man to the room,
changed before coming out to wash
the clothes. It was around past 4 then,
not until I heard the sound of the
trumpet. Chei! Its 4.30am already.
I packed the washed clothes into the
bucket (since there is no space to pack
them) and went straight to the
parade ground.
4.50am already at the parade ground,
the weather was very cold and breezy
(if I can use that word). We
had the usual morning tea
(announcement, etc) before being
separated platoon by platoon for the
morning
exercise. At 8am on dot, the trumpet
was sounded which signifies that it’s
time for breakfast. Oga lagos,
our platoon commandant discarded us
after we had a brief meeting together
with him. Platoon 6 would be
having the drama & comedy night
tomorrow so all hands must be on
deck ahead of tomorrow. I went
back to the clinic to check on Seyi and
Ruth. Ruth appears to be okay while
Seyi is still having some
pains towards the bottom of her
stomach. Breakfast of boiled yam and
stew was served at the studio
before we all went to the
multipurpose hall to have the lectures
for the day.
The lectures are yet to begin when I
got there. At 10.16am, the OBS
technical guys, Oga John and
Jeremiah have successfully fixed the
speakers and the microphones so the
lectures can now begin. I was
at the back stage as an OBS member.
The lecture was so boring to the
extent that I had no choice but to
sleep. I woke up some minutes later
when the host was calling the
different entrepreneurship skills that
are available for training. I opted for
the one I know about, which is
printing and design. I followed the
guy in charge to the class which will
be used for the training. The guy did
dome painting on 3 shirts in our
presence and it looks nice but one
thing is missing, my interest was not
in it. Some things seem to be
wrong with my system this afternoon.
When I see that I couldn’t bear it
anymore, I walked out of the
class to the clinic where I was given
two pieces of paracetamol. I went to
mama Amaka’s restaurant to
eat. I felt so weak and really needed a
short sleep before the man’o war
training for our platoon by
2.30pm.
I woke up at 2.45pm and with high
speed, I ran down to the man o war
ground where the guys have
conveyed already. We did series of
training which I can’t really mention
of. The training we did was
really scary and fascinating. At the end
of it all, our platoon commandant,
Oga lagos (Mr Hassan) and Mr
Aminu came over with a new
uniforms which looks really good on
them. We later snapped some
photographs together in front of the
girl’s hostel. After we were through
with the snapping, I went to the
field where Ekene has been covering
the football game between platoon 9
and platoon 10 which ended in
a 2-0 win for platoon 9. With just the
few minutes I watched, the platoon 9
guys played the best football
of all the platoon games have ever
watched. Ekene and I headed back to
the studio to make the reports
before starting the sports update.
Ifeoma and one other guy enquire
about Seyi from me and I told them
she is getting better but she vomited
again this afternoon again when she
went back to the hostel. I went
to the hostel to check on her around
6.20pm before heading back to the
studio. On the way back to the
hostel, I decided to call back grace,
Ella and Janelle. Grace had called me
earlier in the week but I was
unable to return her call back. Janelle
on the other hand was telling me I
have been scarce for some days. 1 Like |

PART 31
In as much as our last meeting was
when I foolishly escorted her to the
mamee to meet a guy, I had
promised myself that such will never
happen to me again. Once bitten,
twice wise like I do say. Me
avoiding her isn’t intentional but
circumstances has really played its
game well by making me extra busy
to the extent that I don’t even have
time for myself again. Janelle oh
Janelle! After the call, I went into the
hostel. It was almost 6.30pm and that
signifies that it’s time for the show
but Ekene, who covered the
platoon game has gone to the kitchen
to get the food for everyone. I had to
wait for him since I didn’t get
the full glimpse of the show piece.
Nonso came in some minutes later
while Dafe, yeye boy is still at the
mamee market enjoying himself.
Nonso suggested that we should wait
for them but I had a different idea.
The manager said we shouldn’t wait
for anybody that we can carry on with
the show. The show finally
started with the full sport crew and it
was very exciting. After the show, I
was served my food before
going to meet Seyi at the clinic. She
really got me scared when I saw her
vomiting some particles of
blood. I was scared. This is a chronic
ulcer. I really pitied her because of
the pains she was passing
through. I stayed with her before
heading to the social night. I didn’t
really participate well as I was with
my good friend, Ella, discussing as
usual. Landlord showed up and told
me that he wants to go and attend
Ugo’s birthday party. Opps! I have
forgotten already and the big head did
not bother to remind me. I told
Ella to follow me there but she said
she was cold and she has to go to bed.
Ugo’s birthday party at the mamee
was filled with lots of his platoon guys
and girls. He got two cakes
while he has also made reservations
for lots of drinks. This involves a lot
of money mehn and I wonder
how he got the money he spends in
the camp so far. The guy serving the
drinks and I had a minor bust- up
just because I told him to serve my
guys. It had to take the intervention of
a girl and AY before we were
able to settle it. The guy was an idiot I
must confess. I don’t take alcohol and
I don’t attend parties and if
not for ugo,I won’t even attend the
party. I left there when it was 9.55pm
to avoid any form of
embarrassment from the soldiers. Ugo
came in some minutes later with cakes
which everyone in the room
feasted upon. Ugo apologized to me
for the unruly behavior of his platoon
guy. We rested a bit before we
all slept. What a day! read more on www.emperorblog.com.ng 1 Like |

TH OF DEMEBER 2015, DAY 10 IN
CAMP “UNEVENTFUL DAY”
As usual, someone’s mistake in the
room must wake me up and it was the
turn of the Alhaji, the guy using
the bed on top of mine. He was
charging his phone in my socket
which was just beside me. I checked
the
time, it was 3.51am. I knew it was
time to wake up and get dressed
before the trumpet go sound again.
After the sharing the left over cakes to
everyone, I left for the parade ground
at 4.44am. There has been a
fellowship at the parade ground for
two days now so I joined them. The
drills continued again after we’ve
paraded the whole hostel exercising
and singing our hearts out in the cold
weather. Nothing much
happened after that. I was just been
navigating from the clinic to the
hostel then back to the studio. I got
seyi the noodles she requested for,
filled and also submitted the
certificate format with the
performance
form. At 1.10pm, I went back to the
hostel to have a short nap. The room
wasn’t as filled as how it used to
be. Everyone has gone to their place
of different entrepreneurship training.
Ugo also came into the room
to have a short sleep, the cough and
catarrh has been affecting him too. He
came to the clinic earlier to get
some drugs.
At 2.13pm, I received phones call from
Ayodele, one of the girls in OBS hostel
woke me up. I knew it
was time for lunch. Getting to the
studio, I heard they’ve been paying
the bicycle allowance of N1000.
After having my lunch, I went to the
multipurpose hall to meet the long
queue. Mehn! It took me about an
hour before I was able to get mine. I
went back to the studio to prepare for
the afternoon games and the
evening show. Naso I take go back to
my room go sleep jare. It was 4pm. It
went to the field after the
jingle was blown. I covered the
football game while Ekene covered
the volley ball game. The game went
into penalties after a 1-1 score line.
After the game, I went back to the
studio to prepare the match reports
and to also prepare for the evening
show which I later had with Dafe,
don’t ask me about the other guys. I
didn’t see them too.
Social night is here again and it’s the
night for the platoon 6 to perform
their drama piece with platoon 2
or so. The dancing competition for
platoon 6 was quite all right while the
drama by platoon 2 was entirely
boring. Just felt like heading straight
to the hostel. Thank God Seyi’s quite
all right now. 9.18pm, still in
the OBS Quarter at the multipurpose
hall. Everything just seems to be
boring today. People started
trooping out of the hall in numbers.
An event overshadowed the social
night also as a female NYSC
official; Mrs. Brighton slapped one of
the military man. That really took a
shine off the social night
because everybody was focusing on
the encounter. The event was later
calmed by the officials there and
the drama didn’t seem to interest
anybody again. I left there at 9.35pm
when the event was still on. Guys
sef plenty inside room sef except
landlord. We were all laughing at
Chinedu that he is going to park out
of
the room that night. His platoon lost
out to Landlord’s platoon today.
Landlord later came back and he
gisted us how he almost got punished
by the female soldiers but he had to
lie that he is an asthmatic
patient. Chai! Guys can lie sha. I didn’t
know I have slept while getting the
gist from landlord not until a
call woke me around 11pm. The call
kept coming for the 6th time before I
picked it. It was Seyi, wanting
to thank me for all I have done. Ella
also called too later on but I couldn’t
talk for long because the sleep
was still in my eyes. What a day! 1 Like |

TH OF DECEMBER 2015 DAY 11 IN
CAMP “THE CARNIVAL”
For the first time since the camp
began, I woke up by 4.25am. My head
was banging really hard. When I
finally opened my eyes, I called the
hausa using the top bed to please not
to pay music again whenever he
wants to sleep. His hausa song played
all through the night and also another
alarm was ringing repeatedly.
I got up, dressed, brushed my teeth,
and washed my face before heading
out to the parade ground at
5.05am.
The carnival was slated for today and
people was preparing really hard for
it. Alopay, the platoon leader
told us to go and bring a white shirt
for designing against the carnival. I
went to the hostel, gave a guy in
the same platoon with me to give
Alopay while I went to the toilet to
bath, toilet and drank a cup of tea
before sitting down to do some
writing.
It was just some few minutes into the
commencement of the football game. I
left the hostel for the studio,
ate the two akara balls that was
served before going to the field.
Getting to the field, the referee and
other
match officials was nowhere to be
found and I am beginning to suspect if
all was well. At 9.00am, the
volleyball game between platoon 9
and platoon 3 started. That was the
first time I will be covering a
volleyball game and I must confess it
was really a good experience learning
the game without someone
teaching you the lines and rules.
Platoon 9 wins the game on a two set
to one. Immediately after the game,
platoon 8 and platoon 1 started their
match too. And as at 10.20am, a
message was sent from the camp
commandant that the game should be
stopped. The first set is already been
won by platoon 8 and the 2nd
set just began about five minutes
before it was suspended. Then I
remembered Alopay sent a message
that
all platoon 6 should meet opposite the
NCCF. I walked down with Miracle to
the place at 10.30am.
Getting there, the guys were busy with
decorating and designing of
cardboards and clothes ahead of the
carnival this evening. There has been
a meeting on the parade ground
announcing that everyone should go
for sanitation. I went back to the class
where my platoon was to relax abit.
At 11.27am, I went to the
studio to relax. It’s really warm there.
All the guys were present including
seyi.
The DG sent a representative to come
and address all the corpers around
3pm. He and his entourage spent
up to 1hr, 30minutes with their
speeches and all that. After they left,
the carnival set sail and we can see
different costume made by different
platoons. It’s really going to be a
grand carnival in the camp. All
OBS member has a reserved sit with
the DJ. 1 Like |

PART 34
THE CARNIVAL IN CAMP
The carnival started by 5pm. The
event was really colourful. We have 3
judges sitting down on a
platform, judging the performance of
each platoon as they marched and
danced in front of them. A Hausa
local dance group came in to perform
some nice dance and I must confess it
was breathtaking. The
dancing took like 30 minutes. After
their performance, the judges were to
announce the winner of the
platoon performance so far. Platoon 6,
my platoon came third. Alopay came
forward to receive an
envelope which was our gift. I really
don’t know how much was inside the
envelope until I asked him.
The second position goes to the
platoon 4. Yes, platoon 4, Ugo’s
platoon. I was really happy and
excited
when I saw him come forward to
receive the envelope from the state
coordinator. Ugo later came to the
OBS stand and told me that it was 4k
that was inside the envelope. It’s all
good thou. Half bread is better
than none. With the 2nd position
taking home 4k, I think ours might be
2k or 2500 at worst. At the end of it
all, Platoon 7 was announced as the
winner. It was now the show of dance,
excitement and happiness
everywhere as dances engulf
everywhere. The OBS Members were
taking pictures at all angles and they
were all happy. After some couple of
shots, I retreated to my seat to do
some writing. The carnival was
indeed a colorful one, in fact the best
I have witnessed all my life. I
remembered during the performance
of the hausa dance group, Seyi sat
with me all through and the rest of
the guys were Jealous and hailing
her name “Seyishay!Seyishay!. And
talking about Seyi, something
happened earlier today in the studio.
When she came in while I was eating,
everyone was happy to see her and
they were commending me for
being caring towards her and they
were all saying she shouldn’t leave me
o. Chai! See me see wahala. I
was quiet all through this period
while my face looked pale as if I was
not the one being discussed about.
The noise was much and they couldn’t
stop prolonging the discussion.
Ifeoma, Dafe, Aminat, Moses,
HOK, and the likes ehn! I tire for
them. They were all shouting that Seyi
must give me a hug and she
didn’t even think twice before she
came over to my place to hug me. I
shrugged at first but Ekene pulled
me up and I couldn’t refuse this time
as seyi hugged me really tight. I really
don’t know what is in her
mind because I can feel her emotions
in the hug. My mind was just as plain
as anything towards her. As
far as am concerned, she is a friend
and all what I did for her (which is
nothing to me) is just what I think
a normal and any other person can do
and will do to anyone. From the way
she does and acts towards me
now, her closeness to me, I just hope
she is not in love sha o. Well, I trust
her she won’t want to do that,
will she?
Christy, the head of presenters had
informed me that I will be performing
or maybe I should use the right
word “Anchoring” the social night.
That sends spine all through my body
as I was nervous and with
tension in me. I was told I will be
anchoring with a new girl in OBS,
which I don’t even know her name
yet. Well, we go dey see for stage now,
abi? Laughs
The manager came in to inform us
that there won’t be social night today,
I was kind of happy in my mind
because I was a bit tired. Mighty mic
came in to inform us that there will be
an OBS hangout at the
mamee market. Seyi got the dinner for
the both of us and we sat at a corner
in the studio to eat. There is
this bond that is happening between
us which I still don’t get. After eating,
she told me to let us go to the
hangout, she holding my arms not
letting me go. Seriously, I was
blushing. I haven’t felt a PDA before
(Public display of affection), even if I
have to do that, I had planned it with
Janelle, but she messed up big
time. Janelle’s matter is a case for
another day. The hangout was fun.
Mighty addressed us after we were
all seated, thanked us for our
cooperation. The weather was
extremely cold. Seyi kept holding my
hands
and also putting her head on my
shoulder. I was feeling a bit uneasy
but I just have to be like that and play
along. Something tells me that she’s
beginning to have feelings for me but
I still don’t want to believe
that. I still see no reason why she will
be showing me off in public. She was
in that position all through
the hangout and even mighty mic
joked that he hopes we are not the
OBS couple he has been waiting for.
Talking about Seyi, she is not bad
either. Dark, slim, had this nice set of
teeth and a perfect gap tooth that
could make a guy fall in love but
things just can’t work out between us.
We can just be friends. During the
time I was with her at the clinic, I was
able to get some info about her. She is
from Ekiti, 265yrs with AS
genotype while I am 21, with the same
AS genotype too. You see! The odds
are not favourable. I just did
all I had done in good fate. I took her
as a friend, a co-OBS member and a
sister. All my cares on her
during her stay in the clinic was just
done in my own goodwill, not having
anything in mind. When it was
9.30pm, I told her I couldn’t bear the
cold anymore that I have to retire to
my room. She followed me to
the studio where I went to take some
pieces of A4 paper before I escorted
her to her hostel. Getting to the
front of her hostel, I told her to stay
safe and get a blanket. She put off the
jacket which I gave to her at
the hangout when she was
complaining of cold. After she gave
me the jacket, she gave me an
unexpected
hug as I was trying to put on the
jacket back. We bid farewell to each
other and I went straight to my
hostel. Getting to the room, I
discovered it was locked already. Na
wa o. The cold don pursue everybody
inside. After series of knocking,
someone finally opened the door. I got
to my bed and slept off. What a
day! 1 Like |

TH OF DECEMBER 2015 DAY 12 IN
CAMP “THE SHOW”
All through the night, I couldn’t get
my mind off Seyi. I still don’t get what
her motive was. I woke up
around after 5. I checked the football
score line of yesterday’s game. I was
surprised to see Barcelona
draw against Valencia. Well, we’re
still on top. I remembered watching
the October 1st movie from Tope’s
Ipad but I couldn’t complete it yester
night. Landlord sef don wake up so
we decided to watch the movie
together. We watched till around
8.00am when I heard someone was
looking for me. Checking who it
was, it was Brother Johnson from the
church fellowship who wants to
remind me about the service this
morning. I have forgotten sef. I
finished the movie with landlord
before going for the service in room
13.
The service took like 45minutes with
just 3 of us. We had a brief sermon
and prayer session. Getting back
to my room, I dropped the bible and
headed straight to the mamee market
to shave my beards. I got back
after about an hour, went to the
toilet, bath, and washed some clothes
too. The guys in the room and I was
discussing and gisting about things all
around the world. Its 12.15pm, Ugo is
not back from church yet.
Let me see maybe I can get an hour
sleep before going to the studio.
At 1.55pm, Ekene’s call woke me up.
He called me to come over to the
studio. We were served Jollof rice
and fried chicken. But you will be
surprised to see the long queue in the
studio as most of the OBS
members both active and the ghost
members were all present. In fact, it
was that day that I knew some as
an OBS member. I just couldn’t stop
laughing as different people keep
trooping in to get their food. There
was no light and they are yet to fix the
generator. The platoon games kicked
off around 4.30pm. The game
went on well and it ended around
6.05pm. Nonso covered the volleyball
game between Bibie’s platoon
and one other platoon like that. At the
end of it all, Bibie’s platoon lost the
game on a 2set to one. Platoon
9 won the football game also with a
2goal win. Thinking about the social
night, my mind skipped. But can
I say am afraid of crowd? Let’s see. At
6.30pm, we started the sport
panorama show and it ended by
7.20pm. I made sure nothing was
weighing me down so I had to light up
my spirit ahead of tonight’s
show. That is the first time I will be
facing the crowd and at a social night
for that matter, there is no room
for failure or a bleep up. The dinner
was served. I later discovered that
Adebisi will be my partner for
tonight. She couldn’t eat. She told me
she was tensed and afraid. I cheered
her up and we went to the
multipurpose hall together. People
didn’t turn up much for tonight’s
show. The show started by 8.05pm
and I didn’t know where the courage
and boldness came from. I took charge
of the show while Adebisi
was by my side giving her own little
contributions too. I bought 3 recharge
cards which we called out for
the audience to load. Platoon 8 came
in with their dance performance
which lasted for like 15 minutes. It
wasn’t easy getting the attention of
the audience as I kept shouting
“corper wee” on top of my voice. I
was sweating profusely under my cap,
even my palm was wet upon the hand
gloves I put on. I cracked
some jokes too to make the
atmosphere lively while Adebisi was
just a spectator. She only does the
card
calling. It got to a certain stage that I
couldn’t get the attention of the
audience, I had to change my voice
to a female like voice and they were
all amazed. Some looked straight up
while others clapped. By
9.15pm, we were done with the social
night. To me, it was crappy but
mighty mic commended me that I
killed the show, (For his mind abi?)
Getting back to my room, chinedu, the
star boy commended me for a
great show. Ugo was asleep already.

TH OF DECEMBER 2015 DAY 13 IN
CAMP “DISAPPOINTED”
I woke up by 3.23am. I can’t believe it
morning already. I stood up, had my
bath and slept again till
around 5.13am. Ugo was dressed
already. I asked if the jingle has been
blown, he said “since”. Chai! This
guy is not okay at all. They blew the
jingle and nobody cares to wake me.
Na which kind people be this
sef? I rushed up, put on my shirt
shoes and jugged to the parade
ground. The semi-final fixtures for
both
football and the volleyball game was
surprisingly not announced on them
field during the announcement.
Since they said no OBS Member
should be in the studio in the
morning, I was surprised to see Tonye
joining the morning drills. When the
time was 7.30am, the morning drills
was getting uninteresting so I
decided to leave the parade ground
for the studio. The studio was full.
Seyi, Eka, Tonye, Ayo, Jessica, etc
were all present. I greeted them all
before I proceeded to meet Ekene to
discuss the games I heard will be
played this morning. But the truth is,
the guys in charge of the games don’t
know anything about it. They
just fix the fixtures anyhow. From
what I heard, they said platoon 7 will
be playing platoon 3 again. It’s
really disheartening after all our
complaint to see that nothing was
done to the arrangement. Anyhow it
is,
na so we go do am. Breakfast was
ready. Yam and stew again. I left
immediately I was done with it.
The jingle was blown for the morning
lectures. The lecture, this time talked
about the people going for
relocation. The lecture this time was
basically about relocation. The lecture
took about an hour. I was with
the OBS crew at the back stage. Janelle
called and we both agreed to see after
the lecture. By 11.05pm,
the lecture was over so I went out of
the hall to look for Janelle. I decided
against calling her but to check
for her among the troops of crowd
rushing out of the hall. I sighted her
holding her phone trying to call
someone. Am sure I was not the one
she was trying to call because my
phone didn’t beep for once. I
followed her at the back without her
noticing me. I realized she was
heading to the clinic. I went inside to
meet her there. I was shocked when
she asked me about Seyi. I was
dumbfounded but I still managed to
compose myself immediately while I
dodged the question. I kept asking her
about her health and why she
didn’t check on me for over 3 days.
She kept complaining of network
issues on her phone bla bla bla but
staring into her eyes, I can see some
iota of lies in it. My heart shrieked. I
was sad. I maintained a straight
face all through my stay with her.
What she did she take me for? At
times I ask myself, is it a crime to be
so emotional? Is it a crime to love
someone you haven’t even, met
before? Janelle is such a player. How I
wish I could be opposite of whom I
am. I don’t blame the so called bad
guys. She shattered my thoughts
the more when she regarded me as a
“brother in faith” (laughs) I have been
a fool. I was still maintaining
that strange face which makes her
scared. I am unpredictable. I am
disappointed in you” That was the last
word I said to her before leaving the
clinic heading straight to the mamee
market to eat. I have reduced a
lot mehn. The weather, water, not
having a good sleep, in fact everything
in camp was just telling on me. I
needed to talk with someone. I needed
someone who I could talk my heart
out to. I sent a text Ella,
requesting to see her after the SAED. I
was thinking of going to sleep but I
changed my mind and I went
straight to the SAED class of designing
and customizing. We learned how to
draw, create designs on our
own and how to perfect them. We did
like two practices before the class was
closed for the day. At
1.10pm, I left the class for the hostel
having just one thing in mind, “sleep”

At 2.57pm, Ekene’s call woke me up.
He was informing me to go cover the
volleyball game. I told him I
was tired that he should call the rest
of the guys to cover the game. I called
Ella to know if she is back
from SAED lectures. We later met at
mama Amaka’s restaurant where I
explained everything to her. She
advised me from the best of her
knowledge. I love her company. I have
this sure assurance of a best time
with her. Just as we were discussing,
Janelle walked into the restaurant. I
snubbed her while she did the
same too. Ella and I continued our
chat and I didn’t care whether she
was there or not. I really don’t
blame the bad guys who treats girls
like a shit, would you? Still at the
restaurant at 3.35pm, thinking of
going straight to the volleyball court
to clear off my head with some good
volleyball. I later received a
call from an unknown number. I
picked it and I discovered it was a call
from my platoon leader, asking
me to come to his hostel to clear some
things. I rushed straight to the place
after I was able to get the
description from someone along the
clinic. Getting there, the man told me
I didn’t make a photocopy of
the application for redeployment I
wrote. He ordered me to go and re-
write another one, make the
photocopy and bring it to him as soon
as possible. I went in search of an A4
paper to write the application
and it took me sometime before I was
able to get one from Nnanna in the
studio. Seyi helped me in
monitoring the photocopy stand since
the guy was not at his stand. She later
called me on the phone about
the arrival of the guy. I made the
photocopy, and quickly rushed to the
platoon leader’s room to submit it.
I was only able to get the glimpse of
just the last ten minutes of the first
half game between platoon 3 and
platoon 9. The game ended goalless
which eventually ends in a penalty as
platoon 3 win the shootout on a
4-2 score line. That was landlord’s
team heading to the final of the
tournament. It was really a sad one
for
platoon 9 because they were able to
dictate the tempo of the game but at
the end, they lost out on
penalties. Seyi was with me all
through some duration of the game

It was a surprise to me that Ruth and
Charmeen will be the one to anchor
today’s social night. Ruth had
just her baby phonetic voice while I
still don’t know what Charmeen will
bring to the table; he is just the
fine, handsome big boy in the studio.
Getting to the backstage, I discovered
Charmeen was drunk. Not
that it was excess but everything
about him smells alcohol. That now
raises the question that is it
compulsory or necessary that you
must take alcohol before you can be
able to face or address the crowd?
Moses, our manager was so angry. In
fact, everything just didn’t work fine
for the OBS group tonight. All
the Mics and speakers were not at
their best. The performance was good
from platoon 3 but it was soured
by the non-functionality of the
microphones. It’s just so pathetic. I
called Seyi to know where she was.
After some minutes, she came around
and we were under the tree in front
of the multipurpose hall
discussing. We discussed so many
things: family, camp life and when her
wedding would be coming up.
From our discussion, she told me she
lost her mum in 2009. Her Dad stays
in Ekiti and he is a pastor. She
is also the last born of her family and
intended getting married within the
next 2 years. When it was
9.30pm, she asked me to walk her
down to her hostel. We were talking
along the way, with her holding
my hands and her head on my
shoulder all through the walk to her
hostel. One thing I discovered about
her is that she is an introvert, just like
me too but what she doesn’t know is
that I have a way of dealing
with a co-introvert. We talked about
the rumors going round the camp that
we were dating. I told her it is
better we tell the guys in the studio
that nothing like that is happening
between us but she insisted she
wants it to remain that way. She also
told me that Mighty mic was trying to
approach her but since the
incidence happened which brought
me to the fold, he has withdrawn
himself from her automatically. I
was just laughing and staring at her at
the same time so she can speak more.
She said so many things like
what her friends were saying too,
most importantly the ones that came
to check on her in the clinic. After
a long talk, at 9.55pm, I bid her
farewell and as usual she hugged me.
I got back to the room by 10pm. U go
was busy eating so I kuku joined him.
The room was bubbling as
usual and we all discussed and
congratulated landlord for his platoon
success today. We discussed till
around 11.15pm before sleep took
everybody away. 2 Likes |

TH OF DECEMBER DAY 14 IN CAMP
“THE CONFESSIONS
Getting to the studio this morning
around past 8, I got some gist about
how soldiers were punishing the
corpers who failed to leave their
hostels when the bugle was blown.
Tonye was among the corpers who
suffered in the hands of the camp
commandant which I later discovered
that his name was Captain A.B
Balal. The A.B stands for Abubakar
Babangida. You might not know him
well but whenever you see any
soldier with a walking stick, you
better run for your life or do the
needful. I couldn’t bath early today as
usual because I woke up pretty late
around 4.10am. I just changed before
marching off to the parade
ground. With the events that
happened yesterday, guys trooped out
in numbers. We were also delayed at
the parade ground very well today as
the jingle was sounded for breakfast
at 8.55Pm.
Getting to the hostel, I fetched water,
bath, washed my cardigan before
setting out for the lectures around
10.30am. The lecture was as boring as
I couldn’t help but to start dozing on
the seat only wake up by
11.40am. I think that was all for the
lectures. SAED class in the next thing
on line! I got to the SAED
class but Mr Agada, he designing and
customizing coordinator was not
around yet. After about 25
minutes, he showed up with his pair
of dark glasses. He was looking
different today. Spotting on a dark
suit. He introduced to us a new topic
i.e Opek printing, screen printing
(which I know very well about).
The class was interesting when I got to
the stage of screen printing as so
many questions was asked which
made the class very much interactive.
Landlord and his right hand man,
Goddy the goddynator joined the
class. The class was fun mehn.
Godwin and landlord were at their
usual best throwing jabs at any slight
opportunity. At the end of it all, we
had a practical which was done by Mr
Agada. We wrote the
attendance and everyone dismissed
one by one. I was back to the hostel
by 1.43pm, gisting with Chinedu
the star man, Matthew the scanner
and some of our roommate before
Ugo, landlord and Goddy walked in.
I felt like eating pounded yam this
afternoon. The only sure place you can
get that is Mama Amaka’s
restaurant. I strolled down to her
restaurant, ate a plate before going to
the studion to eat a slice of yam
pottage which was served as lunch in
the kitchen. I am just looking forward
to the second semi-final this
evening at the Kangere international
stadium.(yinmu) Nice one visit www.emperorblog.com.ng for more story 1 Like |

PART 40
The bugle was blown at 3.44pm and
lots of us troop out to the parade
ground. To our greatest surprise, we
were told that everybody should line
up according to their platoon.
Everyone was expecting the volleyball
and football game to start but to our
greatest surprise, we were told it was
parade that is going to go on.
We were forced to sit down on the
bare floor throughout the parade, to
the dismal of the corpers but they
have no choice, do they? We have to
obey their commands. We sat and
watched the parades for over an
hour before we were told to stand up
at 5.55pm to go straight to our various
hostels. The rumor now
circulating is that the camp
commandant, Captain Balal as
determined that he would force the
soldiers to
wake us all to sit at the parade ground
from 2am. Are you kidding me? He
must be crazy. How can we
wake up as early as 2am? Na soldier
work we collect? I rushed back to the
studio at 6.20pm since our
show has been slated for 6.30pm or
immediately after the news update.
Only Nonso was around while
Dafe and Ekene was nowhere to be
found yet again. Am sure they will
show up when the show is about to
start. Tuwo and Okro were served as
dinner and I just had no choice than
to eat it. It tastes nice thou being
the first time I will be eating it. I sat
alongside seyi. When I was leaving for
the hostel, she followed me,
clinging to my arms like we’re lovers.
We talked about some issues and
moreover I told her I don’t like
the way she clinches with me like that
because I don’t want an issue between
her and her
admirers/toasters in the camp. She
asked me If am ashamed that she is
with me. She asked if it’s a crime
for her to show her affections to me.
Her words stroked me deep down. I
can sense her feelings for me,
even though she still doesn’t want to
spill it out. She got angry and was
about leaving. I held her hands
and begged her and also make her not
to feel dejected. She was feeling really
bad like am rejecting her. I
talked to her and held her hands and
we both walked down for the social
night. I made sure I held her
hands tight and not wanting to let her
go. Dafe and oyin were the guys that
anchored the show tonight. Nice one visit www.emperorblog.com.ng for more story 1 Like |

Seyi wasn’t enjoying the show so she
said we should go and sit somewhere
to talk. We sat somewhere
and we kept talking about life in
general and each other’s past
experience. Ella called me to know
where I
am. I told Seyi that I had to see a
friend so we left for the hall together
while I left to go and see Ella. We
discussed about her challenges most
importantly among her friends. I
advised her and also encouraged
her not to feel bad about it. We talked
about it for about 30minues before we
realized that the social night
was off already and corpers are
already trooping out in numbers. I
told Ella that I have to go and meet
my
friend who was waiting for me. I
searched everywhere for Seyi but I
couldn’t sight her. Her number was
not going through either so I decided
to go to the studio to check on her. I
saw her leaving the studio so I
ran up to her that told her I have
been looking for her. She does not
want to speak to me at first but later
told me she is coming back. That was
a different Seyi. Something is
happening to her which I still don’t
know yet. After the brief meeting we
had regarding the OBS party, Seyi was
leaving and I ran up to her
again. She said she saw me talking
with my friend and I couldn’t walk up
to her. I tried to explain to her
that I didn’t see her and moreover, I
have been trying her number but it
wasn’t going through at all. I held
her which she reluctantly released,
talked and keep staring into her eyes.
We talked while I escorted her
down to her hostel. She never wanted
me to go but I had to because it was
almost time for light out. She
hugged me and we bid ourselves
farewell.
I got back to the hostel so cold. The
guys don sleep already since we all
expect that we would be waking
up at 2am by the camp commandant,
the short man devil himself, Balal.
What a day! I dressed up like I
was going for a night show so as to
wake up when the bugle gets blown at
any time. read more on www.emperorblog.com.ng 1 Like |

TH OF DECEMBER 2015 DAY 15 IN
CAMP, “BOREDOM”
Alarm waked me up by 4.30am and
looking around me, I see that most of
the guys are awake already,
dressing up for the morning parade.
Then I remembered we were meant to
be woken up by 2am but this is
4.30am. Seems the short man changed
his mind or his he postponing it? I
couldn’t bath because of the
time factor so I just put on my shoes
and went straight to the parade
ground. It was extremely cold this
morning by the time I got to the
parade ground at 5.05am. The
fellowship was still on and I had no
choice
than to join them. We were done with
the parade and the morning exercise
by 8am. The semifinal football
game is slated for 8.30am and as
usual, I have to cover the games. At
the parade ground, I made a new
friend, Pelumi by name. We talked
and discussed all through when the
parade was going on.
The football games started by 9.30am
since the entire footballer had to go
and collect their I.D cards
while others went for their breakfast.
It was just some few minutes into the
game when we got an order
from the camp commandant that the
game should be stopped. The fans
were furious about this decision.
The referee and Mighty Mic went
straight to the head of sport’s office to
lodge a complaint while the rest
of us had to choice than to march to
the multipurpose hall for the lectures.
Not quite long, we received an
info that the players and match
officials should head back to the field
to continue the game. The game
restarted around 10.25am and it lasted
till 11am before it ends in a penalty
shootout which platoon 7 won
by 4-1. I was happy for chinedu and I
know the room won’t be conducive
because the final will be
between landlord’s platoon and
chinedu. After the game, I was
hungry. I had to take my bath first
immediately I left the SAED class
which lasted for over an hour.
Ugo and Matthew woked me up at
3.33pm and I was informed that the
bugle has been blown for the
evening parade. I have slept for like
30 minutes after eating at mama
Amaka’s restaurant. I went to the
studio to see what is going on there
before going to the parade ground.
Getting there, Ekene was busy
eating the yeye beans that was served
by the kitchen. He was eating like he
won’t be eating another thing
again today. I wonder if he doesn’t
purge with the high rate of beans he
will be consuming. Ify and Jessica
came in later to inform us that the
camp commandant, the short devil
was around and he might come to
the studio. Nasoo I get up o. Straight
away, I went to the parade ground
where I met them writing
attendance for the people that was
present on the parade ground. Not
quite long, I saw Ella. We decided to
hang around to watch the parade. Seyi
called me to know my where about
and I described the place for
her. Some minutes after, she came. I
stood up from my sit so that she can
sit while I did a formal
introduction between her and Ella. We
were watching how the parade was
going until we saw the short
man with the walking stick picking
people from the spectators to go and
march. Come see running! I had
to leave the field immediately with
Seyi to the studio. That short man
ehn, his wahala is too much.

Dafe and I had the sport update show
together. Ayo Taylor, our producer
also joined us when we were
discussing about the volleyball games.
Ayo, HOK and Henrietta were to
anchor the social night today.
The show went well but the issue was
that the platoon that was to perform
that night was not ready. Seyi
and I were together all through the
show having our little talks. We went
to the mamee market to eat
before going our separate ways. Today
marks the end of SAED and am glad I
would have enough time for
myself tomorrow.
10TH OF DECEMBER 2015 DAY 16 IN
CAMP “THE VARIETY NIGHT”
I woke up around 3.12am but I still
wanted to sleep more. I later woke up
at 4.25am to prepare for the
morning parade. The bugle was blown
at 4.33am and in a matter of minutes,
we all trooped out in
numbers to the parade ground. After
the fellowship, we recited the national
anthem, NYSC anthem and
the pledge. Seyi and I were standing
together on the queue till the man o
war took over for the morning
exercises. I don’t know what came
over me until I saw myself remixing
one of the man o war songs and
everyone was singing and dancing to
the song. We will be rounding up on
Monday so I was singing
“Monday, Monday, Monday, we dey
go home! They all screamed “Monday!
We dey go home Monday!
Too much of cold we don finish!
Monday! They shouted. It was more
like a gyration. Everybody loved it.
Even the Man o war guy in charge of
our platoon kept quiet and was
enjoying my remix. After we danced
round the hostel, the people on
parade was separated from us for the
parade while the rest of us was freed
but we still have to remain on the
parade ground.
At 8am, the bugle was blown for
breakfast. I went to Omolara’s
restaurant to eat what my stomach
wants
because the yam and stew that was
served in the kitchen don tire me. I
went back to the hostel to shit,
bath and even had some little time to
wash some clothes. Ify informed me
that we put on our NYSC
crested vest for the OBS since today is
the variety night so I had to put it on.
At 9.50am, the bugle was
blown and it was time for lectures
again at the multipurpose hall. The
guy lecturing is named Emeka. He
discussed about Job interviews and
the things surrounding it. The lecture
was interesting and it took about
2 hours before he finally left the
podium. After he left, lots of corper
trooped out even thou the lecture
was not over yet. There are still some
guest speaker waiting to talk to us but
it was boring already. I left
there at 12.21pm to check outside.
Earlier, Seyi called me with Ekene’s
number to bring my white T-shirt
for customizing ahead of the variety
night. Lots of the guys were in the
studio including seyi. They dint
even bother to come out for the
lectures at all. Aminat was collecting
N200 for the fee of the customizing.
12.50pm, sitting and doing some
update in my book. I waited in the
studio till the lecture was over. We no
kuku know wetin dey wan give us
chop this afternoon. read mpre on,www.emperorblog.com.ng 1 Like |

PART 44
One of the technical guys, Jerry
brought out his guitar in one of the
rooms in the studio and was playing
it. The way he was playing it drew my
attention and I moved towards him.
He was trying to get the right
tune for Bob Marley’s freedom. He
tried alongside Dafe. Dafe was also
trying to get the lyrics of the song
but they couldn’t get both the tune of
the song and the lyrics very well. I
told Jerry to try something
different from the Bob Marley’s tune
and I formed lyrics around it. The way
I was singing towards the
tune caught the attention of everyone
in the studio. This made Sylvia to join
us in trying out something
too. In a matter of minutes, I was able
to compose a song for the OBS but it
has not blending it very well.
I couldn’t believe I could make such a
composition that it even made our
manager, Moses and the rest of
the guys interested and they later
joined us too. During this session, they
brought in food from the kitchen
and it was Eba and the watery Egusi
soup. After eating, I went outside so I
could get a full composition of
the lyrics. When I was able to get two
verses complete, I came back inside to
continue the rehearsal if you
call it that. I knew I have this thing for
music but I never had that time. I can
twist and remix any music
be it hip hop or highlife. My two
brothers were a choir at the apostolic
church while I am just a normal
church member without taking any
post or using my talent for God.
After the lunch, we had a group
photograph while the sport crew also
had theirs too. Seyi came to to me
so we could have our own personal
pics too and we took it immediately.
Nonso was absent because of his
state of health which I heard was bad
and he is still in the hostel. After
taking the photograph we did the
rehearsal again till around 4.05pm
when Mighty Mic asked Ekene and I
to go and cover the platoon
games final. The game started around
4.35pm and at the end platoon 3 won
the tournament 1-0 against
platoon 7. Platoon 7 also lost in the
volleyball games by 2 sets. Did I forget
to tell you that Dafe had my
breakfast this morning because
Chelsea won their game yester night.
Now it’s my time to eat his dinner
but unfortunately after the game, we
had to change our shirts and head to
the multipurpose hall for the
long awaited variety night. We
couldn’t have our sports chow
because of the event so we just have
to let
things be for now. And regarding he
song I composed, we were thinking of
performing the song tonight
but the unavailability of the speaker
for the platoon game final made
Mighty Mic angry and he said we
won’t be perfuming the song tonight. I
wonder when we will be able to
perform the song if not on a big
night like the variety night where
everyone will be available to see it.
The guys were optimistic that the
song was going to be a hit but mighty
mic has ruled it out, we have no
choice than to let the sleeping dog
lie. The customized shirt we paid for
was brought and we all had them on,
making us look different and
unique. Every one of us had different
names at the back, names like Fire,
MC Dafex, DJ Aboki, Gold,
Seyishay,etc but I choosed
OLAOLOWO. It was written boldly and
I love it. Its 7.50pm and we were
awaiting the commencement of the
program which will begin by 8pm. I
went to the backstage to monitor
the Macho men and how they will line
up when the show would start. It was
sad to see that most of the
corpers are really angry with all OBS
crew. Everything that goes bad was
caused by the OBS. All the
blames was being put on us but what
they never knew was that we were
also following orders from
above. They must know that it is not
our fault because the NYSC officials
didn’t provide adequate
equipments for us to use. In fact, our
manager, Moses, was really angry this
night and he is ready to beat
anybody. Ekene was angry too and we
both left the backstage to the main
hall.
