So, when you were talking about patrol boats?

Ok, I'll go for that deception for the sake of argument.

So, you mean they should have parked the patrol boats inside or on top of the building to take pictures with?

Stop the comedy abeg?grin
Oh, I thought you said they didn't have boats before? Now, you have conceded they have patrol boats? shocked Ok, we are making progress. Now, the appropriate place where boats are berthed, is called a jetty. Do you agree? Or do you still want to argue that it should be a rooftop?

If Falomo jetty was not essential to LASWA's operations, then their HQ would not have been sited there. sad Meanwhile, the same LASWA launched a tender for operations of ferry terminals a few years back, and Falomo jetty was clearly listed as one of the places that would feature in the ferry routes, that were expected to be handled by commercial boat operators. Instead of allowing commercial boat operators to provide services from Falomo jetty, they closed it. undecided Now, can you understand why the initial question was asked: "Where are the boats?"

Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Operations & Management of Ferry Terminals through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Arrangements at Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA)

Lagos, with a population of over 20 million people and projected to be the 3rd largest megacity in the world within the decade hitting the 25 million population mark, is Nigeria’s economic and commercial nerve-centre. With this anticipated increase in population, there is a need for an effective intermodal transportation infrastructure within the context of the LSG Transport Master Plan.

Ferry operations have proven worldwide to be an environmentally friendly effective mode of relieving road transport congestion for passenger traffic. The physical environment of Lagos comprising of 22% lagoons and water bodies makes it well-suited to leverage water transportation as an integral part of its transportation system.

The Lagos State Waterways Master Plan currently makes provision for 11 major ferry routes amongst which include: Marina to Mile 2, Ikorodu to Addax/Falomo, Ikorodu to Ebute-Ero, Badore to Ijede, Badore to Five Cowries and Mile 2 to Marina/CMS.

So, patrol boat is your new cover?

You said boats, not patrol boats. Another lie on your part.

You mean while commissioning the new building, they should have piled up patrol boats inside the building or on top of the building?

Which cover? shocked I do not need a cover. And there are no lies, anywhere. All I have done is to try and enlighten you, so that you do not continue with your irrational line of thought. undecided Were you not the same person insisting that : "The waterways agency is a regulating agency, they don't sell boats, they don't keep boats and the boat owners in Lagos state doesn't park their boats in front of the agency HQ so exactly what boats are you villagers talking about?" Or have you forgotten you said so?

I made a point earlier that the location of the LASWA HQ, is right along Falomo jetty. sad The same LASWA invited bids for provision of ferry terminals and commercial ferry services covering different routes, including that same Falomo, where their HQ is now located. Yet, nothing has been done there, despite the fact that the jetty is in existence. Instead of understanding this fact, you are making noise and throwing tantrums, that LASWA has nothing to do with boats. Okay, o. sad Na you sabi.

LASthis LASthat...the acronyms are irritating to my eardrums.

LASAMA
LAMATA
LAWANA
LASAWA
LASATA
LAPATA
LAKABA

come on meeen!!

Make it simple, give it attitude, bring out the appeal...

Instead of this doggone LASAWA for the water authority, check this out....very smart and tidy.

State WATER. Simple! No need to attach LAS, we already know where it belongs.

In fact, look at this....

Water
Authority
TERminal.

Right there you got WATER!

State WATER, not LASAWA.

Who is the freak that design these bullshyte acronyms?

Tell him tidy up or walk... angry

Ignorant ipob, the Lagos state waterways authority is an administrative agency regulating the waterways, they don't sell boats, they don't keep boats and the boat owners in Lagos state doesn't park their boats in front of the agency HQ so exactly what boats are you villagers talking about?

Or you villagers mean the state should have asked all the boat owners in Lagos state and the ones driving their boats up and down should have parked their boats in front of the agency before taking the pictures? grin grin

You people are worse than elementary school kids.
