The daarsat is completely diff. Ketlle of fish,as good as it is i wonder y dokpesi went along with such technology.

All those having problems downloading the 69xME.i have jst discovered that u can stil pick etv audio with your 1.05 software by usin the Add channel fomula postd earlier by ilish.but i advise u upgrade it to 1.09p bcoz its the best.

U can upgrade daarsat decoder, i.e KAON KSC660HD, but the process is somehow complicated.
It can only be done thru OTA on Astra 1A i think, if u notice the USB slot is not like the other slots in strong decoders,
Just 4get that stuff for now

On Kaon KSC660HD
Sometimes I find this box upgrading OTA. It halts and start upgrading, and when upgrade completes it returns to the channel being viewed. I experience this on Astra 2B, especially when I tuned to/or in between the Infinity channels, and few occasions on W7 after scanning.
As regards the absence of blind scanning feature, I still believe, having saved the satellite, and have a tp on the satellite, if you scan the satellite other tps would pop up. This was my experience, when I entered few of W7 tps, and did the scan other tps came up.
Just an experience shared

Again on the use of the HDMI feature on the box
I connected HDMI cable to it and to HD laptop, expecting to be able to view ,but no response on the screen. I could not view anything.
Please what do I need to do ?. This idea came up as an alternative way to watching satellite programme with just ups only- in a compact and private form

Thanks my brother. No be small thing ooooo! FTA is like any other hobby. You leave it, it leaves you. After getting rusty for like a year now (my last 90cm installation was in august 2009), I experienced minor isues tracking the astra signals but at the end everything turned out fine. Pictures editing. Will post them sooooon!

I didn't like the Recall list, so I reverted to the status quo:

Menu >> System Settings >> OSD Settings >> Use Recall list >> OFF

Dstv thief said they have 100% EPL matches, na lie they dont have 100% EPL they only have 70% right to EPL. if you notice they dont show more than 3 matches at 3pm on saturday and even last week sunday they didnot show man-city match. watch-out next week too they will not show Arsenal VS Bolton match. Dstvvvvvvvv Thiefffffffff.

That may be possible in Zambia where you live but here in Nigeria, its difficult to achieve that. It gets worse when your using a mesh dish as my 2.5m comstar is powerless on the etv. If you notice, almost all peeps claiming to have nailed the signal from here are using solid dishes 180cm and above.

I made a giant leap this week from solar powered FTA to solar bulking of water to the overhead tank! Later I was able to power my refrigerator after the tank got filled!

Looks like with just a little addition to my array, there will be enough continuous power to enable me sip ice cold champagne while relaxing under the nice heat of the sun watching nilesat!

Truly, the sun is the answer!
