CCB Act That Indicts The Suspended CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen by kahal29: 6:52am On Feb 02, 2019
Some have argued that section 3 (d) of the code of conduct bureau and Tribunal act exonerate the suspended CJN Justice Walter Onnoghen from his present trial however going by his statement to the CCB it could be clearly seen that section 6 (b) of the same act indicts him assuming without conceding that he is exonerated by section 3 of the act.

According to section 6 of the CCB ACT...

Restrictions on specified officers:

Without prejudice to the generality of section 5 of this Act, A PUBLIC OFFICER SHALL NOT

(a) Receive or be paid the emoluments of any public office at the same time as he receives or is paid the emoluments of any other public office; or

(b) Except where he is not employed on full-time basis, engage or participate in the management or running of any private business, profession or trade; but nothing in this paragraph shall prevent a public officer from engaging in farming or participating in the management or running of any farm.

Now according to Justice Walter Onnoghen's response statement to the CCB he said and I quote

Some of the deposits are a result of FOREX TRADING, AGRICODE and other INVESTMENT RETURNS were from proceeds of my INVESTMENTS into them.

Therefore, going by Justice Onnoghen own admission of engaging in other businesses such Forex trading, AGRICODE (what ever that means) and investments which is prohibited by section 6(b) of the act i think it would be easier for the camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for CCT to free Justice Onnoghen at the end of his trial.

Finally, could be the realisation of this very fact that his legion of SAN'S are now looking for a soft landing for him as reported in the Punch Newspaper of Today? Could it also be the reason why the CCT Chairman, Justice Danladi is not bothered about his earlier rulings?

Nigeria lose $10 billion yearly over gas flaring.
Buhari had a meeting with Morroco's King to sell that "wasted"gas to Spain,Portugal, Italy and 15 African countries. Now the project has begun,to construct pipelines.
This will create a lot of jobs for Nigeria.

Like I advised earlier in the week and I repeat.....

With the latest appeal court judgement which refused to stop your trial but rather referring it to a criminal case that cannot be stopped, I think it's time for you to call it quit. Stop digging and go home in peace. Resign Now, save yourself, your family Name and career from further shame and embarrassment.

The appeal court with this judgment have done an irreparable damage to your case by dismantling the main pillar you have been holding onto which is that... Your case was never referred to the NJC. The appeal court now agree with your earlier judgement delivered in a similar case where you held that in matters of this nature the code of conduct tribunal has exclusive jurisdiction.

The implications are as follows....

1. They referred your case as CRIMINAL which is very telling of how they feel...

2. They seem to have reversed and corrected the error in their earlier judgement in Ngajiwas Case where they held that a judicial officer cannot be tried in any court except the NJC permits. Thus by failing to stop your trial they have given the CCT express permission to try you without NJC approval.

3. Finally they have now agreed and applied your earlier judgement in a similar case to this present one. Thus the judgment of the Court of Appeal simply says... Your case is not for NJC consideration and recommendation that it is a criminal matter.

We expect the process of convicting corrupt individuals to be followed without fear or favor.

We hereby call on Mr Mohomodu Buhary to immediately order CCB to relase the requested assets declaration forms of his appointees.

Thank you

NIGERIA SHOULD FACE AGRICULTURE.

IT IS A TRICK TO CONTINUE THE EXPLOITATION OF THE NIGER DELTA REGION.

Trust Ijaw boys and the rest of the Niger delta militant they will use dynamite to blow up this gas pipeline.

The North should go back to their God given Agriculture.

I am not against this construction of this gas pipe to Morocco, Portugal, Italy etc as long as it is based on RESOURCE CONTROL, TRUE FEDERALISM AND FISCAL FEDERALISM.

Chasing shadows! There are a lot of government officials that CCB should prosecute. They have always known about onnoghen, the same way they knew about fmr finance minister kemi. They put you in knowing you are having issues, when it's time to replace you, they know what to use against you!

You people you stop disturbing yourself over FDI's. Only the few highly skilled will get jobs. Let's hold our government to come up with a viable strategy of developing local investments alongside FDI

Forex trading is not a job.

It's just like investing in the stock market. You cant say that a public officer should not invest his money

Is the CJN the owner of the FOREX company? Is he the owner or in the management of this investment companies?

You people will soon run out of ideas.First it was non-declaration of assets.Seeing there will be no headway in view of section 3(d).You now resorting to releasing his account history to blackmail him.Now that he has explained the transactions you are now desperately gasping at straws!!

Zombies give up!!! The CJN is going no where
