A degree is important.  It shows mental discipline.  Lots of studies show earning potential and success of people with degrees.

She should have a degree also.  I like this girl, because this type of woman will inspire a man to live to his potential.  She is good for him.

Degrees create opportunity and maturity, Knowledge is power, don't let anyone convince you education is not important. Degrees are an investment into the person on many aspects in one's life.

Are all you loosers listening this man ^^^^ is telling the truth i clap for the mom in sokoto because she knows whats up. Why would anyone allow (if they had the power) or advise their kid male or female to marry someone who hopes to survive on love alone. I mean you dont have to be a bsc holder to be successful in life but having one sure makes your chances a lot better

I always say that a good man who can take care of his wife and family should not be judged by colour, tribe, financial status, education level or even height. It is the heart that matters.
I have seen many lecturers in the University who married girl without O levels and encouraged the girl to get educated. But when the revise is the case, parents always tend to discourage their daughters. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

If the girl really loves the man and the man has shown seriousness in pursuing a University education, i don't see any reason for asking for a degree. I wonder if it is the degree Dangote, Otedola, Bill Gates, Chanchangi, G.U. Okeke and so many others used in becoming wealthy? I don't think so. Degree is just a paper and one should reason far above the piece of paper called degree.

Dropout isn't a good adjective + Education gives him an edge over others with the same skills, it creates more opportunities, it is also good for his self confidence, I hear there is a lot of bullying in the corporate world.
