They ought to be in police custody, I mean the students if Nigeria knows herself. Under the Nigeria Constitution IBB has a right to contest, so do I, he has right to associate and converge . I am sure the campaign did not trespass on anyone’s property EVEN if they did students are not in the right position to open the book.  

It is not necessary to say I am not a supporter of IBB but I will declare it here and now. Personally, I think he is bad news and has nothing to offer- this is my opinion and I do not expect everyone to share that with me. I will register my view on Election Day- that is the beauty of democracy. You do not have to bully someone with unlike opinion, the voting will tell who is the people’s choice.

It is funny how we support the politics of “anything goes” just because we are at the receiving end. The Nigerian way of intimidating an opponent is arrant nonsense- illegal in a democratic setting and shows how immature we are collectively.

thank you for showing some sense. i was wondering if everybody has gone crazy in nigeria. i'll rather those students use their energy and enthusiasm to turn out en masse on election day, and more importantly guard their votes and make sure no one steals the ballot box and that the elections are not rigged. if we start using violence to block the rights of politicians we dont like, we may be setting a horrendous precedence that may haunt us for decades if not centuries.
