gbosaa:

You are a pessimist. Their claim is legitimate, however I’ll like to see Afonjas engage actively in South East politics. If they have qualified and eligible people, I think they should vie for political posts rather than soliciting appointments from the governor elect.
Political positions like local government counsellor, chairmen, state legislators and even the big one (governor) shouldn’t be for Igbos alone.
Afonjas contribution to South East economy shouldn’t be agbo selling and tailoring/embroidery making. God knows how many diarrhoea, constipation and jedijedi they have caused my people with their concoctions.

Those people asking Ihedioha for appointments should contest with others, win elections and contribute to the development of Imo state.
Thank you!

They're on their own, Igbos are not known for inclusiveness and accommodating, not even under a vindictive party like the PDP.
since when does anyone include an Afonja in anything.

dont judge first what are they contributing to IMO state, check most of them you will see non has any reasonable investment in the east. Highest they are mechanics, engineers in factories and supplying Agbo to every nook and cranny of IMO state. If igbos are running this type of business in sw do you think the govt will look their side be sincere.

Iamgrey5 and legendhero.
Come and carry your brothers. Living in denial is the worst form of disservice to your tribe. Iamgrey5 even claimed their were not up to 3 Yoruba people in the whole of Aba.

There are many people from different ethnic groups earning their living in the east. This is a well known fact to true non tribalists, who have dare to leave their comfort zones to travel round the country.

Finally there are yorubas living in the 'red mud undeveloped region', and there are white collar jobs for them too apart from Jedi jedi selling, mechanic and tailoring jobs. Case close. cool

Yoruba men don't sell agbo even in Yoruba land, it's largely women's work
