The management of Daar communications should go to court if they feel NBC acted illegally. Making noise on social media and calling the president unprintable names won’t help their case. NBC warned them severally but they refused to stop broadcasting divisive and treasonable contents. Constructive criticism of government’s policies and decisions is not the same thing as propagating outright falsehood and airing hate speeches.

NBC must never shy away from taking tough decisions like this when necessary. Impunity must not be the order of the day. When a broadcast station fails to adhere to regulatory codes governing broadcasting, there must be sanctions. We cannot sacrifice the unity and peace of Nigeria on the altar of selfish political interest of some few political elites.

Yes.
But buhari appointed his own man who is now doing his bidding.

Their work does not include taking Nigeria back to the stone age.

I fear for the future of this country. I hope apc keeps winning because if pdp gets there, they will go on a vengeful spree they wouldn't have thought possible.

There are no more limits, no more red lines.
Buhari obliterated everything. Destroyed federal character, destroyed sanctity of press.

How come you have nothing to say on the alleged infractions, but have a lot to say about Buhari/APC?

Are the infractions alleged by the NBC weighty and true??

How come you are turning a blind eye to that one. Is that not hypocrisy?

Didnt AIT operate freely from 2015 till date? Even despite their toxic media campaigns before the 2015 elections.

There are one thousand and one rules CNN have broken, but Trump cannot shut them down.

It does not look good.

Nigeria does not have a stronger regulatory system than America.

You are just less democratic and more corrupt.

Nigeria is different from America. The tribal division in Nigeria does not create same level of suspicion and distrust with the racial differences in America.

CNN is not AIT, and they are not on same pedestal. They are as different as red and blue.

CNN does not use their platform for discussion of programs that are racially inciteful and treasonable (I am a regular viewer of CNN).

Their criticisms of the Trump administration is constructive and mature, and not aimed at turning one group against another or scattering everything.

The media houses that encouraged the pogroms in Rwanda, if they had been shut down/given strong deterrent, people like you would have complained then. We all saw what happened afterwards.

There is nothing like Islamization/Fulanization. These are sentiments created by politicians for political gains.

Any media house that encourages such nonsense talk should be shut down, before we have high level mistrust and bitterness that will lead to another civil war in the country.

What we have are security flaws and should be tackled, and criticisms issued to the govt of the day as it is without any ethnic/religious colouration.

AIT did not start operating on its own. They were granted license to commence operations by NBC. If they are found to have violated the terms of the license issued to them, the license can equally be withdrawn.

Never allow politicians use your business for politics cos once the opposition comes after you to pin you down, they wont be there to save you. I hope Raymond dokpesi gets out of this mess
You are not making sense
Is CNN and washinghton post not control by the liberal Democrat party??
Is Fox News not control by the neoconservative Republican part??

Have any Donald Trump seize CNN license because they criticises him??
Did Obama seize Fox news licence because they criticises him??
Did George bush seize the New york times media because they criticises him??

Sometimes I regret to come from a country with daft people like you.
