Stupid post from Tony Mumu. Someone his people rejected, is it Nigerians that will accept him? There is this saying that charity begins at home.

Jonathan did a litmus test by renaming Unilag after MKO but what happened, south west rejected such gesture.

I made a post on this yesterday even though mods refused to push it to front page.

Jonathan meant well by renaming UNILAG after Abiola but he is a coward by reversing it after the protest. Would Buhari or OBJ have reversed it?

Jonathan is never a coward but rather a democrat who has a listening ear. You can't force something on people if they don't want it.

I think you need the advice more than I do! The Yorubas are comfortable with that. Ojukwu is your hero, we are less concerned about what is named after him, but then we are fine with the stadium and the fact that you can't do any official transaction on a June 12 again just to celebrate Abiola, a man from the tribe you love to hate. So sweet!

What has ojukwu got to do with your butt licking acceptance of a neglected stadium compared to a reputable University.....oshi.....

Was Ahmadu Bello reduced to local championship when Northern University Zaria was named after him? Now Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Our leaders, at times, I don't know how they reason. Just for him to score political point. You are wrong this time sir.
not just them even the ones on nairaland are worse than the leaders.

Stfu. GMB was working for Abacha when he killed Kudirat; jailed MKO and put OBJ and Yar’dua in prison... to be later poisoned with sniper
Thank you. Now that he has full control as president, he has done the right thing by honoring MKO who was said to have bankrolled the 1985 coup against him. I applaud Buhari for this. Anyone that doesn't like it should go and ask his father to die for a collective cause.

Majority of GEJ's advisers were from the SE and wouldn't want him to honour him right even if they know the right things to do.

They were the only region who refused to vote for Abiola because he is obviously a Yoruba man.

tunda strike you scratch tiger face there
