That was why I said the INEC chairman should have said the server results were not used because it was not consistent to what they had on paper rather than denying its existence.

dude, it wasn't local. verification was done against back end, else its no verification
It was local..that is why each card reader was assigned to a unique particular unit. Each polling unit data was already loaded into the memory of the card reader at INEC Headquarters before disbursement to each polling unit so that voters details can be verified without back server needed. this was why areas without internet access could be accredited and vote as well.
