This kind of statement is unbecoming of an igbo elite even though ezeife is well respected it only makes it look like we are politically hopeless.

Nobody will give you the presidency on a platter of gold except you work tirelessly for it or get the national assembly to make the office a rotational one amongst all geographical zone.

The igbo politicians should challenge the pdp to zone their 2023 presidential ticket to the southeast zone having supported them a lot in the past and test their political will at the poll.

If you believe in ipob for the actualization of biafra fine but do not tie it to 2023 presidency because it won't work.

Oboy wake up the structure in place 'll never allow an Igbo man to be a president unless both parties field an Igbo man . Besides, hausa fulanis and yorubas hate Igbos for fear of domination hence 'll never an Igbo man . Did you see what happened to Gej .Gej closeness to Igbos took him out of office. Some of them even saw Gej as an Igbo. Gej was not removed based on competence but tribal

Well we ipob are happy about it, having an igbo president in 2023 will be a disaster to us Igbos cause, they are a lot of criteria's needed for a group to seek for self determination, under the international court of justice, set by the UN continues marginalizion is one of them, so we Igbos don't need that igbo president

Then tell Ezeife to shut up.

sorry, i do not agree with this statement of yours. The Nigerian state HAS MARGINALIZED THE IGBOS FIRST BEFORE THE POLITICIANS FROM THE EAST. The reason why Igbos are angry with them is because they have taken sides with those who have decided to treat them unequally.
the worst marginalization a people can suffer is the one done by his own brothers .that is why when you complain outside they will laugh at you and ask you if it is not your brothers that have destroyed your state resources and put the progress in jeopardy.

We need to tell ourselves the truth
Yes the Nigeria state first marginalised us but Ndigbo are a very resourceful people, if we can stand back to our feet after the war with just 20pounds why can't we turn around our state economies with the millions and billions of allocations we have been receiving.

So it has come to this! Dont Nigerians reserve the right to choose their leaders anymore? Why do you have to blackmail them into electing one of your own as president?

This is pathetic coming from someone like Ezeife.

I would like to ask this question.

Amongst all zones in this country there is no single zone that has toiled as hard for PDP as the South East and the South South. Politics is about sweat and reward. Wike for instance pulled all the stops he could to ensure the party's survival after 2015. He imagined he deserves anything he asks of the party, and that is why we see his creating so much chaos in the party today after being denied those rewards he demanded.

The South South has been given the ticket which indeed they deserved.

WHAT EXACTLY IS STOPPING THE POLITICIANS IN SOUTH EAST FROM PUSHING FOR PDP TO GIVE THEM THE TICKET COME 2023 AS THE DESERVE IT MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE?

This is one thing I still crack my head to understand but fail to at every attempt. What exactly is stopping someone like Ezeife from demanding the ticket from PDP after all the HARD WORK the zone has put into the survival and growth of the party? From '99 to this day, they've busted their hump and showed exemplary loyalty to the party. Why cant the ticket be given them?

One point of correction, the SE adopted pdp AFTER GEJ became president. Prior to that pdp was just another corrupt party to them.

Why can’t Igbo seek to contest under PDP for 2023 presidency? After all their unwavering loyalty to the party, the party still refuses to give them the ticket or what is really happening for God sake.

Can we say the SE’ners are cowards that can’t even ask for presidency under PDP? Abi it’s just that they are useful tool by the Northerners in PDP to use to their advantage?

my bloda, they are asking o, lolz. Its just that they are asking from APC - d "Islamic/evil" party.

You people allege the country hasnt been fair to you. How about pdp showed the way by rewarding your years of hard work for it? Why cant you demand it from them?
This ppl matter is worrysome.
The PDP they sowed their lives in, they won't demand presidency slot. As a matter if fact, they are already shouting "atiku/kwakwanso 2023"; but d same "Islamic/evil party" they hate with gusto, they are making demands from.

When Uwazurike called them fooolish, they felt betrayed. Abeg what's more fooolish than ds?

No one hates u, really.
U are the architect of your problems in Nigeria (and wherever u sojourn).
U insult and demonize others and still expect a warm embrace from d same ppl? Its ds tactlessness of urs that causes problems for legit Nigerians across d world. Only ds year 2019 alone, within d spate of 6 months, three African countries (Ghana, togo and now southafrica) have attacked "Nigerian traders". yes the worst marginalisation is done by brothers from the inside. But my stand still remains that the marginalisation started with the federal government of Nigeria and it is still powered by them. They are the major reason for this marginalisation on the Igbo people and we all know the reasons why. Laugh all you want but that's the fact .

It was the saying for long that PMB will hand over to Igbos and I think that is fair. If in 2023 such is not done, the elites too will have no reason to support one Nigeria that rejected them because of their region.

In Catalan, Scotland and southern Cameroun, the elders, political leaders are leading the way.

Ohaneze and top Igbo intelligentsia should be where Kanu is today, sensitizing the global community...as their request to various federal government has been largely ignored.

2023 Presidency: Igbo Should Properly Integrate into Nigeria, Says Babangida
https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2019/09/23/2023-presidency-igbo-should-properly-integrate-into-nigeria-says-babangida/

If IBB could be saying the above 50 years after the civil war, then it means the war has not ended and the Igbos are still persecuted. As they are not wanted, they should be encouraged to leave the amalgamated union.

When Ikemba, the single most respected son of Ndigbo throughout history, stood for the presidency, they demonstrated not even he could sway them from sticking with PDP as they still voted enmass for PDP!! What greater demonstration of loyalty could there be in politics?

Does it mean that certain igbo leaders have been sponsoring Nnamdi Kanu to destabilize the country but are seeking 2023 Presidency as a final push should igbos lose out on the Presidency. They are trying to use ipob as a bargain but unfortunately, igbos are not primed for 2023.

exactly they have marginalized their igbo brothers and the masses more than anybody.
The worst marginalization one can suffer is the one done to him by his people.
They have come to realize that ipob is the new mass movement that can rally the people.

For me I think this struggle by the ipob should start from the southEast ,they must first liberate themselves from the greedy politicians who have motgaged the future of the masses before moving to liberate themselves from Nigeria.
Just as you diabolical demons have liberated the zoo from greedy northern politicians...you are worst evil than zoo politician

Only an indescribably ignorant kid would think I care if they remain or leave Nigeria.

Kiddo, if you like, LEAVE IN THE NEXT HOUR, I couldn't care less. Get that into your head and tell your Ezeife nobody is going to be FORCED or COERCED into voting who they dont wanna vote for.

Lastly, tell your Kanu to stop daydreaming about Benue state. We want no part of your adventure. Stop forcing people into your own dreams. Have your biafra to yourself and those who desire it.

Thank you and goodbye.
