So OfficialEfcc won't be able to persecute her, well that is good news,my own is that she invest all those money looted in the Niger Delta, if she can invest 50% there using every kind of front provided it affect more of their populace she would get a pardon after all wetin concern government if Niger Delta lady steal Niger Delta money, but if she keeps buying choice property up and down she should remember Amadioha is watching her

Oya big capital FOOLS please come and salivate on this nuisance, this same woman asked to to extradited to nigeria years ago so as to face prosecution in nigeria, but the same useless nigerian government rejected it,because they (the Nigerian government) felt that ahe would have been convicted by the u.k as james ibori was convicted.

Really? How can she be asking to be extradited? She can just board a flight and come back home and report to the EFCC. Fayose turned himself in to the EFCC (and of course the political clowns could not do anything because the charges against him were political). Diezani is running from justice.

Towards the end of former President Goodluck Jonathan ’ s administration , former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani Alison -Madueke , was appointed Commissioner for Trade and Investment by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit of the Commonwealth of Dominica and was handed a diplomatic passport .
This , perhaps , is why Diezani has been able to evade prosecution despite being in London for over four years .
According to Qatar- based network , Al Jazeera , the former minister may have purchased a $ 2 . 2 m choice property near the United Nations in upscale Manhattan , New York , for the Dominican Prime Minister in order to obtain the passport .
In a documentary titled, ‘ Diplomats for sale ’ , Al Jazeera reveals how politically exposed persons , including leaders of international drug cartels, purchase diplomatic passports from Caribbean countries for a fee which ranges between $ 250 , 000 and $ 2 m depending on the personality involved .
The bribe is usually paid to the leader of that country who then appoints the buyer as an ambassador or a diplomat. The buyer is subsequently issued with a diplomatic passport which gives him or her immunity from prosecution based on the Vienna Convention of 1961 .
According to the news agency , shortly before Diezani left office , there were already reports that she had allegedly stolen billions of dollars .
Worried that the incoming President Muhammadu Buhari ’ s administration might probe her , the former minister allegedly fled to London and obtained a diplomatic passport from the Prime Minister of Dominican Republic himself .
The report stated , “ In London , she ( Diezani ) is personally handed a Dominican diplomatic passport by Prime Minister Skerrit ; a passport which could shield her from criminal charges . We found documents showing a few days later that a shell company is formed in Delaware , an American state where laws mean the true owners of a company are kept secret .
“ Four months later , that shell company buys a New York apartment for $ 2 . 2 m with no mortgage . Property records confirm that the prime minister ’ s wife , Melissa, was a resident . Photos placed the Skerrit family there. Both Diezani and Skerrit deny any links to the company that bought the apartment .
“ Skerrit said the family resided there due to a kind gesture by an unnamed friend of his wife . He strongly denies any wrongdoing and says he didn ’ t demand or receive any money from Madueke . ”
The 53 - minute documentary also shows how countries like St . Lucia , Antigua and Grenada all in the Caribbean carry out such “ diplomatic passport for cash ” scam.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had in March lamented the slow pace at which the United Kingdom was handling Diezani ’ s case .

The EFCC in a statement said it was baffling that after four years , Diezani had still not had her day in court .

The statement read in part, “ We are intent on bringing Diezani to justice and despite the spirited efforts of the commission in ensuring that she returns to Nigeria and face trial , she has been held back in the UK by an investigation that has spanned almost four years without any signal about when she will be available in Nigeria for prosecution.

“ The EFCC has been frustrated over Diezani , a development that prompted it to seek her extradition to Nigeria , so that she can have her day in court . ”

The former minister is alleged to have diverted billions of dollars and purchased choice properties in several parts of the world .
Diezani ’ s cash and properties as well as those linked to her , worth over $ 250 m , including jewellery, have been forfeited permanently to the Federal Government by an order of court .

Too bad, bayelsa state is relatively one of the smallest States in the country with different oil companies, the former president was from there, and a woman that was a minister of petroleum from there too and absolutely nothing was done to alleviate their people from poverty.
What a shame!

But I thought women weren't corrupt. wink

Where are all those women talking nonsense about how the world would be better if everything was managed by women?

Men are obviously more corrupt. Nigeria will definitely be a better place if our women are in charge. In a typical Nigerian home, the girl child is generally given proper training in how to take care of herself and the family. She learns how to sit properly, how to dress appropriately, how to cook, also learns proper personal hygiene. The boy child is left to roam the house and neighborhood, learning nothing useful.
The girl develops into a more responsible woman able to take care of herself and family while the boy develops into a mostly irresponsible man with little useful life skills. A lot of Nigerian men cannot even boil water to make tea.
These are the folks that are saddled with the responsibility of running the country. How can someone that cannot take care of himself be able to take care of a country? That is why Nigeria is messed up. We need to bring in more women into government.

She offered Wow! Does she have to offer? All these times Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala have been visiting Nigeria, she was not offering to come before embarking on her trip. She even visits to celebrate her birthday in Nigeria.
Diezani should just come to Nigeria and answer the charges against her. She should stop running from justice.

Those girls who you say are taught values and probity are the ones doing runs in our universities and luring other girls into ashawo abroad.

They are the same grown women who take petty bribes from the politicians to either stay home or vote for useless cretins who squander public funds.

The same foolish women who bleach their own skin and think that it makes them look good. They think their weave is attractive and not retarded.

They make up the majority of the foolish congregants that enrich the numerous pastors who spew forth nonsense every Sunday and take a sizable chunk of money from impoverished communities throughout this country. They also drag their own children to these houses of religious fraud so that they might also be inoculated against reason.

They are the ones who are the first teachers of all the crooks and imbeciles who have bespoiled this country. How do you then conclude that they are 'responsible' people?
