How would the elephants know that the place is experiencing a crossfire?
You just reasoned like Lai Mohammed. grin

The opposite is the case I think. Animals are guided by instinct. Instinctively, some animals are more intelligent than certain humans. And you should proved that.

What a beautiful sight. If value were placed on them a conservancy would be set up in the vicinity to help boost the numbers of all the wild life there. It could be turned into a tourist centre since its ten times the size of Lagos, a very good animal conservancy centre needs to be setup there.

Sambisa?? Are you dreaming??

During war. There's wide spread hunger. Chances are high that the insurgents or refugees will hunt them for food

There is widespread hunger for the humans during the war or for the animals. Because all what the elephants graze on is forage and grass they are herbivores. So maybe you mean drought.

For the last 10 years or so there is no evidence of a drought in the nothern part of nigeria or sambisa environs.

Elephants food is different, this is why you hardly even see them, there own worries is different from that of humans,

And goodluck to anyone who spots 250 elephants in a wild jungle and decides to attack them for food.

The size of the area has been compared with Lagos and its an established fact that sambisa is ten times the landmass of Lagos

For both the humans and the elephants. In every war there's always hunger. Imagine being in a region of hunger with 250elephants roaming.
Do the math.

I am surprised u are even saying there's no drought, when we all know about the desertification going up north plus the shrinking of d lake chad.

I researched the UNHAS organization and nothing like this ever occurred

Till date, the FG has yet to do something worth the while with the SambIsa Forest! What a government! Therein lies a solution to the purported farmer-herdsmen clash.

Unfortunately some very dangerous animals are currently occupying the place. In fact, these animals currently occupying the place are just too senseless to allow the realisation of your great idea (suggestion).

Funny enough wonderful creatures like elephant and its kind must be wondering how senseless and heartless some other animals can be, considering their unimaginable activities.......

Mate, the area we talking about is not the IDP in borno where maybe the rice did not go around for both the humans and animals.

These are deep jungle animals, very wild to the core, the only time you see them is when they are migrating, these are your only chances of humans even seeing them. How does your BH attacking Rann Local Govt with 50 people have anything to do with them.

Like na war be that one self, like even there terrain is not accessible by road.

Deep wild jungle animals is what you want insurgents and refugees to be hunting.

Fam you must think they are bushrats or antelopes grin grin grin grin grin
