The first problem here is the health issue. Then come environmental toxic issue with old used electronics.

The consequences mount on the killing of local textile industry, lack of patronage for tailors because of "ready made".

Importation is the number one killer of local progress and industries. Not only of goods and services that can be locally developed and nurtured but of wasted talents.

Unfortunately, Igbo petty traders are at the bottom used by the big boys from all over the country.

As the big boys drain the foreign reserve, they use petty traders to justify money laundering. The same is true of forex.

Who are the billionaires on "round or double tripping" at the major banks? Poor people must stop crying over what benefit them a little on the short run while reducing them to poverty on the long run as the big boys laugh to foreign banks in their names.

Used imported goods, junks and expensive toys will kill this country.

There are things the government turns a blind eye to for peace to reign. This is a direct attack on the masses.

Here this boy goes again with his tribalistic comments.
We have thousands of yorubas and hausas doing business at Yaba market.

FFK has played with some people's brain the way he feels.
This is the FFK effect.
The Chief Tribalistic bigot.

You are the same boy that says PMB closed border so we igbos won't be able to travel home for Christmas and different kinda poo!

What some people will cause with tribalistic and religious 'ish' in this nation, they won't be here to see it to the end.
Let us leave tribalism out of National issue biko.

Fair enough.

Thanks for lecturing him.
We can only continue to pray for their likes.

Here is a link to the same thing that happened in the North and no Hausa person dare come out to say the government was persecuting them... That was even over 300 BILLION naira and this Yaba issue is less than 10% of that.
Tribalistic Bigots everywhere!!

Some people just bring hatred to themselves and other people from their region.
But thank God some of us still think straight.
Joe I!

The fool your call president close the border in south and left the ones in north open haven’t you watch the movie a rep member from him state complaining about it?

This is really a government of the North, for the north and by the north.
Why are some parts of the border still remaining open while every legislation and polices are easily implemented in the south?
Second hand clothes are very common in kebbi state.. The popular Kalgo market is where I got a lot of them last month.. This is a town located close to Niger.

Do not be surprised that so.e if these seizures will come through the sea ports o. Some officers would have fed fat by collecting bribes on some of these items. If there is ban on it,let officers involved in the releasing of them at the sea and air ports be disciplined too.

"If the people don't have bread, let them eat cake"

The above senselly daft statement was reputed made by the last queen of France when the masses complained there was no bread.

That's what this overnment is saying about Okrika. If there's no Okrika for the poor, let them buy new.

By the way, the last queen of France was executed with the guillotine after a revolution against the French monarchy. Since 1789, there's has been no monarchy in France till this day

Most of the traders will get there their goods back then.

The owners should simply come up with the legimate documents on these imported goods, and get their goods back.....simple!

We hope they act fast enough before the bales grow wings.

Is Okrika not banned? Is it not contraband?

Dear mods, pls enlighten me.

A member gets insulted and he notified you guys about it, then the same person who has created over a thousand usernames switch to one of his usernames and report to you again that the first reporter is breaking rule 1, and you guys quickly comply and place a ban on that first reporter.

Now, if the first reporter is violating rule 1 for reporting, then what is the second reporter doing for also reporting?

The bias on this forum is getting more glaring by each passing minute of the day.

Just asking because I'm confused.

Minimum wage earners and even those who earn much higher can't buy new clothes. Should they go to work naked? Useless government that can't feel the pains of its citizens. Never kill yourself for any politicians. They are not worth it. The moment you vote then in, they begin to oppress you. God will judge you all.

Not you, I'm referring to those trolls cancelling others posts with the mods refusing to do anything.
Look at what complained about. You'll definitely know the moderator is one-sided against him.

Someone is calling the mods to penalise a rule breaker and the mod is helping the rule breaker to hide the victim's post.

This is a very welcome development. How can you be proud to wear second hand material. People that enslaved nigerians hundreds of years ago, use cloths and discard them for their black negros to use. Dont you have sense of pride in yourself. Americans will wear cloth be tired of it and send it to Africa, like we are slaves and dont deserve to use quality things. What nonsense. The lack of respect we have for ourselves is baffling. Are we dogs? That you give us the scraps of your wardrobe to use. Haba Nigerians!
