Hi guys, how common and acceptable is online dating in Nigeria. I have been away from Nigeria for a long time so I have no idea how acceptable this form of dating is. In New Zealand it is quite common and acceptable and many couples start that way.

What are your opinions on online dating etc?

I agree with the previous poster. It don't hurt to try it. I met my now fiancee online. You just have to make sure to be careful and develop a "thick" skin when trying it. There are alot of sickos out there seeking to devour innocent people whomever let them. So you gotta be careful. But then there are good people out there too who is sincerely seeking a mate just like you. Just use your God given common sense and know that when something sounds too good to be true, it usually isn't.
