In a Village called Adogi, in Nassarawa State, Nigeria, a three months old baby has been raped.

The mother of the child said it took place after she left her door and window opened in the night cause of the heat that night, May 27 2020.

She said she woke up in the middle of the night and could not find her baby by her side.

Alerting her Neighbours they all went in search of the baby and found her raped and abandoned at a classroom in a school.

The baby is currently receiving treatment at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH).

Maimuna, the mother of the baby stated that the incident occurred on Wednesday 27 of May when she woke up all of a sudden around 3am and found out that her baby is missing.

She said she checked for her phone which was close to her before she slept, but it was missing as well.

When they found the baby everywhere across her private part was blood and they rushed her to the hospital.

They have reported the case to the Adogi police station.
