The truth is Obaseki want to be nominating his people for slots reserved for Edo. He claimed governors in other states were the one nominating people for Federal appointments. He did not recognize that the party chairman need to nominate people too! That was the beginning of the mess! Oshiomole was willing to negotiate on this, he wanted to get everything. This is the result. Imagine forsaking Oshiomole that nominated just 1 commissioner for him while going to Saraki that was a governor except in name during the 8 years Fatai spent and yet he claimed to be fighting godfatherism!
