World Leaders have made it seem heinous when a coup happens,
majorly because they have been ousted from power and they want to protect their asses.
It's very similar to talking about salary with a company, It usually feels awkward, but when it comes to work and overtime it's not awkward.

Ecowas will most likely resolve to sanction, but I see this their regime getting away with it.

The longer the military stays in power, the harder it will be to give it up.
When a coup is successful then 90% of the work is done.

In the end all the AU leaders will condemn the act, threaten and go home.

It did not just start today, it has been happening since before the French revolution
and that's why France don't have any more Louis.

what saved Mali coup plotters 8s that Nigeria military is weak,if not the west would have used Nigeria to lead the fight against the coup plotters as usual.
It happened in Congo, Liberia, Sierra Leone.
It's the destiny of NIGERIA to fight for Europeans economic interest

No, you can't deport your own citizen. The man is going there on exile, or as a refugee.
Or asylum seeker
