your ignorant decision in not reading the whole 'diatribe' is the exact reason why your interjection makes no sense. Why don't you read the statement first and get a clear understanding of his point of view before making uninformed allusions.

I don't need to read the content to come to a conclusion that Falae erred and was irresponsible (as an elder statesman) to make such inciting and divisive statement that was attributed to him in the headline.
If the headline was inaccurate then I stand to be corrected; otherwise Falae was in no position to speak for the Fulani let alone paint them with the same disparaging brush, over what is quite obviously factually incorrect - in short such a conclusion couldn't have been reached by any other person than a bigot.

HISTORY OF NIGERIA LEADERSHIP DISTRIBUTION
Some people should rather use their brain to think than to allow others feed them with hatred & lies.
Some forces are using ethno-religious diversity of Nigeria to create dangerous accusations & conspiracies which are far from the truth. Those enemies of peace logically use the current predicaments of Nigerian to blame some tribes or religious group for the failure of Nigeria not knowing that all the groups collaborated in gang raping the nation. Those inciting Nigerians along ethno-religious line know very well that some gullible are so dumb enough to accept anything trash feed into their head.
Below is the data that calculated the years Nigerians are ruled under religious, ethnic and geographical location considerations. 60 years since independence, Nigeria was ruled by:
11years Obasanjo- Yoruba
9 years Yakubu Gowon-Angas
8 years IBB-Nupe
6 years GEJ-Ijawa
6yrs Nnamdi Azikwe-Igbo
5 years Abacha-Kanuri
7 years Buhari (+2yrs military regime)- Fulani
3 years Shagari-Fulani
2yrs Yaradua-Tuarek
6 months Agunyi-Ironsi-Igbo
2years Murtala, Shonekan & Abdussalam-Fulani, Yoruba & Hausa.
If calculated along religious line, it can be seen that Nigeria was ruled under Christians Presidents for atleast 32years while Muslims Presidents ruled for 28 years.
When calculated along geographical location, it can be seen that South ruled for almost 24yrs while North rule for almost 36yrs.
Yoruba ruled for approximately 12years, Fulani ruled for less than 11yrs, Angas ruled for 9yrs, Igbos ruled for 6yrs, Ijaw had 6yrs, Kanuri had 5yrs, Nupe had 8yrs, Tuarek had 2yrs while Hausa had 1year only.
North-Western presided Nigeria for about 17yrs, South-West presided for about 12yrs, North-Central enjoyed approximately 18yrs, South-South presided for 6yrs, South-East had 6yrs while North-East are still struggling to get to the apex position and still not agitating for it.
Going by the logical distribution of power along ethnic and religious line it can be seen that accusing only one particular tribe for Nigeria's failure is just a deliberate tactics by desperate power mongers and children of hate to put us into ethno-religious conflicts.
Since 1999 to present, two southern presidents used almost 14 years out of the 21 years and yet we southerners still complain of Fulani dominance everywhere like babies throwing tantrums.
If the two southern president could be foolish enough not to make things right for southerners, how is that the Fulani man’s fault?

I don't know where you get your statistics from and I don't really care. But the moment you committed the blunder of ascribing 6 years to Zik who was a figurehead ceremonial president in a parliamentary system of government and cleverly omitted Balewa who had the real political power, I knew you were a liar.

We have criminals among us doesn't give any brainless goat the right to stereotype the whole Fulanis.

We are great people... The most influential black people in the world.

Every ethnic group has its fair share of bigots, and so does every religion has its extremists. The danger is adopting these irrational or agenda-driven members as the voices of the entire group. Doing so makes you exactly what you seek to fight.

The jallohs are God's own people!! We always win!!

What senseless rubbish. Fulani are a minority tribe. Every Fulani person is not interested in anybody’s land just like every Ibo person is not a cheat and a criminal.

People have issues with criminal elements and instead of facing the insecurity and failure of their governors and local government chairman in managing community issues they start calling Fulani as if it’s juju.

They are criminal elements, deal with the people infringing your land as such using the laws that exist and let the rest of us rest

This man was SGF what did he contribute to making sure the system would work? Now he has retired and is not among the current thieves and it is Fulani to trend nonsense

No Offense taken.
It takes longer and at times, a serious event, to reset the brain of some of us. grin
I was once a Buhari supporter who voted for him in 2015 because l thought, based on HIS PROMISES, that he was going to turn Nigeria around for the better but l can confess that his actions since then, has put me to so much shame.
Buhari is the MISTAKE no nation should ever make
. No President in the history of Nigeria, has ever incited one ethnicity to slaughter others enmasse, the way he has done or imposed brazen Nepotism on others, as he has done.

We have to learn to love ourselves again, make sacrifice for ourselves, overlook the negative sides in each other, if we are to survive this Fulani onslaught. It is a matter of SURVIVAL, ... and UNITED as "ONE SOUTHERN NIGERIA", we can survive.

It does not mean we cannot peacefully go our separate ways in future or stick together under "REGIONALISM" arrangement, with a lose Centre/Nation, if that is what all our people so desire.
Germany went separate but later came together again, but it will all be based of EQUITY, FAIRNESS and JUSTICE, something these Fulanis can not comprehend nor accept, due to their inherent mental backwardness and penchant for senseless violence.

Olu falae is an elder I respect. But talking and giving a group of criminals a tribal identity does more harm than good, they aren't fulani herdsmen; they are criminal cattle rustlers with banditry and kidnapping as side hustles. Amotekun should instead be encouraged and partner with farmers to track and hunt them down. A revival of the agbekoya union is also needed; all farmers should voluntarily join Amotekun and get the pump action rifles given to Amotekun operatives. Anti grazing laws should then be enacted to stem cattle rustlers in the SW, if you want to rare cattle buy a land and rare your cattle on that land.

You are mistaken or maybe you just want to appear liberal.
There are Criminals among all Nigerian nationalities and we all know that.
But there are also a peculiar form of terrorists, with a peculiar agenda and they dont hide it.
Even MACBAN, their Umbrella Association is not hiding the fact that they are engaged in a peculiar form of criminality that has to do with slaughtering whole villagers, burning the Village and renaming it a Fulani Village.
They did not hide the fact that it was the Fulani that are doing this peculiar form of atrocity and even the President told us they are Fulanis but issued a caveat: That they are a foreign breed of Fulanis and said "the people of Benue should accommodate them".
They even demanded for #150Billion, but got #100Billion, to stop the killings but soon after, used the money to buy more weapons and went back to killing innocent Nigerians and dispossesing them of their ancestral land.

Its all about KILLING and DISPOSSESSING INDIGENES OF THEIR ANCESTRAL LAND

The word "Fulanisation" was not invented by Chief Olu Falae and Hausas have been living in Nigeria, peacefully for donkey years, until these virulent, terrorists Fulani Herdsmen started migrating down from Futa Jalon in Guinea, into Nigeria and the ascendancy of Buhari as Nigeria's President, was the fuel they needed, to unleash violence on Nigerians, as Buhari himself is not a Nigerian but a Nigerien (Niger Republic) Fulani man.

With all the above, How then do you still blame Chief Falae, for calling them, for who they are?

Wether democracy or not 2 Igbos ruled Nigeria for abt 6yrs in a row. Hausa ruled only for less than 1year only by Abdussalam Abubakar. Where is it mentioned in the constitution that every tribe must be President?
Are minor tribes not Nigerians?
Why are they not complaining?
The most neglected zones in Nigeria are NC and NE, why others are shouting wolf when there is none?
Who cancelled regional state and replaced it by central govt? Is it not Agunyi Ironsi?
Who created scene that led to civil war by killing leaders from particular zone and tribes?
All this agitation isn't worth doing, we need true leaders with Patriotic mind but not tribal leaders who will thnk of their tribes over the nation!

And your Buhari, with the way he has been behaving, is that "true leader with patriotic mind", right?

I don't need to read the content to come to a conclusion that Falae erred and was irresponsible (as an elder statesman) to make such inciting and divisive statement that was attributed to him in the headline.
If the headline was inaccurate then I stand to be corrected; otherwise Falae was in no position to speak for the Fulani let alone paint with them with the same disparaging brush, over what is quite obviously factually incorrect - in short such a conclusion couldn't have been reached by any other person than a bigot.

Fulani has kidnapped Chief Falae, in the past, he knows them and they are around his farm.
They have robbed him, burnt his farm a few times and he is no stranger to them,
He speaks from valid personal experience and everything he said IS DOCUMENTED FACT. he doe snot speak for the Fulanis, he is speaking ABOUT the ACTIONS of the terrorists Animals

That you dont like the truth or dont want to come to terms with your terrorist actions, as a murderous group of animals who butcher innocent people, so you can dispossess of their land, does not change the facts.

Fulanis Herdsmen are engaged in terrorist activities, under the Umbrella of MACBAN, with the support of Nuhari and his Security Apparatus, period

Calling a spade a spade sometimes doesn't solve problems, should we call every Muslim a terrorist because most terrorists claim to be muslims; I guess not, should we call every Igbo man a drug pusher because of the antecedent of igbos in Asia; I guess not, should we call all yoruba men promiscuous because of the antecedent of a few; I guess not, .... Imagine if America had termed it the "war on muslims" instead of the "war on terror(terrorists)" most people would have called the war an islamophobic war and not one meant to fish out bin laden and co, Saudi Arabia wouldn't have allied with the US and the international bodies would have been totally against it; the US wouldn't have probably caught bin laden and the Bush family wouldn't have gotten those sweet Iraqi oil wells. Emotions, blind reaction and calling a spade doesn't win wars, war is won by deplomacy, tact and wisdom. Know this and know peace.

But when your brothers down east commit crimes... You'll all pretend as if nothing happen.

I didn't see you on this thread today.

You'll not comment here cos it didn't happen in zamfara village.

Fulanis are blessed!!

Winning is our culture!!

YOU BETTER SHUT UP THERE AND LOOK FOR TOOTHPASTE TO BRUSH YOUR MOUTH BEFORE YOU DARE TO OPEN IT AGAIN!!!

Propaganda of this era should be like fast food..short and can easily be consumed. Tell your oga at BMC northern HQ that most people of this generation won't read this long epistle of shit and piss. Instead make use of infographics and short videos for your propaganda. Send my regards to him

Agbegbaorogboye:

This is exactly what Pa Falae is talking about.
The audacious ignorance and empty pomposity of the average Fulani man.
How many Fulani are excelling and dominating? Or is murder and kidnapping now a yardstick of success?
Majority of Fulani are illiterate, poor and backwards who do not have access to the basic necessities. I daresay of all tribes in Nigeria, they are the most deprived.
Yet here you are glorifying criminality of your deprived people and calling it great and blessed!!
Instead of you the elites to sit and plan how to empower the rest of your people and bring them into the 21st century, you're blowing a silly and broken trumpet that leads to nowhere.
Let me tell you, my security guard is a Fulani man with two wives and seven children. They all live in the security room and the children don't even go to school!! I ask you what leadership acumen is he exhibiting there and what are the chances his children are not already set up to follow in his steps.
The earlier you stop this nonsense and sit down to tell yourselves to truth and find a cure for what ails you, the better for your tribe. Else you're naturally headed for extinction.
The presidency is not forever. And I can assure you most of these criminalities will be revisited whenever power shifts. Which is just about two years away!!
Think!!

Employing a fulani man as your security guard is a big risk man ! Trust me,you need to be extremely careful not to offend him as he won't hesitate to do something quite horrible to you and your family in retaliation. They don't forgive

I employed a fulani man as a security Guard cum domestic help for my mum in Osogbo in 2013. It turned out to be a big mistake that cost a life ! The guy was given a fully furnished and well equipped two bed rooms apartment to live in with his family of six. Initially,he seemed a good guy but later started misbehaving at some points for just no reason. I noticed his cold attitudes and unfriendliness when I visited my mum sometimes in November,2014. I took a precaution immediately by instructing my nephew, who was then living with my mum, to always ensure that all doors and windows of the main house were firmly locked and secured before going to bed at night.

I received a call from my mum on the morning of 3rd December, 2014 and she informed me about how Bashir, her fulani security guard had wanted to force his way into the main house around 2.00 a m and that she later found Bruno, her Alsatian dog brutally murdered in the morning. Bashir was nowhere to be found with his family. I asked her if she had any issue with him ? She said she only warned him to stop bringing strange fellows into her compound. My mum reported the case at the community police station that morning.

When I arrived Osogbo on the 5th of December, 2014, I went straight to the fulani settlement in the community, Gaa fulani at Kobo ngbogbo e area of Osogbo. I met with their Seriki, a seemingly nice man, and I demanded that Bashir be produced or I would create a very serious problem for their community and I meant just that. I got a call from the community police station the following morning informing me that they had Bashir in their custody. I got #150 k as a compensation for the murdered dog and an undertaken, signed by the Seriki, that Bashir or any of his family members would not come within 10 radius of my mum's house.

My point is, be very careful not to offend your fulani Guard !

Point of correction.
Do not conflate Fulani with Hausa. Hausa represent one of the largest ethnic groups (if not the largest) in Africa. Until the marauding invaders came from the Northeast spreading Islam through war and forced conversation.

Dangote is ethnic Hausa. And yes he became the richest black man due to government patronage starting from the 80s. In case you're not aware, he was awarded a monopoly of rice importation under IBB to feed the largest black nation on earth. Even you would become a mega-rich with that type of monopoly. And it is on record that successive governments afterwards till this day (including PDP) has favored him at the expense of the common man. Just a few weeks ago, the borders were opened exclusively for Dangote while remaining shut to other businesses. But I'm not taking anything away from his vision. Any smart businessman would have done the same thing. It's the responsibility of government to ensure a level playing field.

Yes there are good and bad ones in every tribe but the northern problem has been exacerbated by the refusal of the Northern leaders to instill a culture of education and enlightenment which will empower the people to confront issues objectively. Arabic and Islam education alone will not help your people. Rather it is a means to further repression and subjugation of the masses by the elite while they themselves (the elite) continue to live lavishly and avail themselves of all the goodness the western world has to offer.

Case in point: When Buhari took over , one would expect that he would expand and consolidate on the concept of Almajiri Schools started by the previous administration. This is something that would favour his own people. But what happened ? That initiative has been consigned to the dustbin of history. Shows you how well he (and his likes) value western education. Was it Arabic education that built the Land Cruisers and the Lexus SUVs they love so much in the North ? Man the hypocrisy is sickening .

Where are the international experts in the private sector, the globally renowned professionals of Hausa or Fulani extraction ?
Dr. Rilwan Lukman spent his entire career (apart from two years) working for the Nigerian Government. So we can still allude his career achievements to government connections especially considering his rapid rise from an inspector in the Ministry of Mines straight to the Chairmanship of a government owned cement company . And then it was one politIcal appointment after the another until he ended up in OPEC.

Sanusi and Amina Mohammed I both respect as those who made it in private sector before government appointments . Amina more so than Sanusi cos her prior career had an international dimension to so I would say her recognition is mostly based on merit. Sanusi is equally intelligent and highly educated (and is usually highly intellectual when he's not talking some religiously biased stuff), but how much of an impact his influential family had on his local career uptill he became First Bank CEO, I cannot say. But these are the two exciting people to listen to and I've had the privilege of listening to them in my sojourn as a banker and (later) an international development specialist.

But where are the unsung IT experts, the inventors, those who push boundaries in the fields of human endeavor such as medicine, arts, engineers etc ? Man tell yourself the truth. The world is moving on and nobody will wait for you. Your people are being left behind due to the decisions of the past. The only hope now is to continue to cling to power by any means so as to have access to easy resources for the elite to siphon and stay relevant. So stop posting photos of some bridges and roads built by unsustainable federal allocations or pictures of elderly men on horseback who do not understand how far ahead the world has gone.

I mean no offence in case you feel disrespected. But it is what it is.

Spot on !
