I'm amazed at Nigerians for supporting ineptitude. (GEJ) Let face it: 1. When Alesiamegha was stealing Goodluck folded his hands and just watched? (impossible) 2. What was his achievement as deputy governor? None 3. He lied when he said he spoke to Yar'udua on numerous occasion when he was sick (we are all witness) 4. His wife is as corrupt as any big corrupt person in Nigeria (remember 2 EFCC cases) 5. No balls, remember how Turai caged him before and after he became acting president 6. Remember how security officials took over Abuja airport. 7. He was in-charge of the committee that looked after power generation during Yar'udua (as minister) 8. Said MENDs are not terrorist 9. Received Bode George with open hands 10. He said Babaginda is his mentor 11. OBJ is his Godfather 12. Tony Aneni is his Godfather 13. EFCC/ICPC is dead under his watch. 14. Halliburton/Siemens/Julius Berger scandal hasn't been giving priority 15. Hasn't done anything about the bomb blast all over the country 16. External reserve depleted under his watch 17. Excess crude oil account depleted under his watch 18. Agreed to a debate but chickened out in the last minute 19. Uduahan is a wanted man in England but GEJ make sure he won his re-election 20. Almost all known rouges in Nigeria today is a friend to GEJ 21. He said power problem will be a thing of the past in December 2010 (now shifted to 2015) 22. GEJ doesn't know how many percent of the budget has been implemented 23. Igbinedion is charged with corruption but GEJ right hand man is Igbinedion's deputy 24. He sent Orubebe to South Africa 6mths. to see orka before the independent bomb blast 25. Patricia Etteh/Farida Waziri given national award by Goodluck Jonathan 26. Called south west political leaders bunch of rascals 27. Junket around the globe with too many aids (no wonder our reserve is no more) 28. During Yar'adua we had 60 plus advisers and assistant now GEJ added about 57 29. He made his Senegalese tailor and his wife hair dresser personal assistant 30. Bribed those that voted for him during the primaries with $7,000 (multiplied by 2000 + people) 31. Refuse to bring those bad eggs that prevented him from becoming acting president 32. Yar'udua's signature was forged on the supplementary budget (nothing done till date) 33. Yar'udua's security vote was stollen during the saga ( nothing done till date) Nigerians Please Think before you vote |

Everyone has got the right to vote whoever he or she wants to vote for but, at the end of the day nobody should complain. For me am voting Buhari not because am hausa or muslim but because PDP is evil. A word they say is enough for the wise. Our destiny has being presented in our hands in this election all we have to do is vote for any other party, whether its LP, CPC, ACN, ANPP, DPP, etc. But please I beg you fellow Nigerians don't vote for PDP. If PDP wins then there's no hope for Nigeria. let's vote wisely. |

kliffo:So if this election was a success, Jonathan will not include it as one of his sunny achievements in power? Is that what you trying to spin? Then when it turn sour it has nothing to do with him, according to you? If a bank clerk at the checkout messed up big time, it is expected that many people including the CEO may be first to go, but in Nigeria unless you are directly in charge, no one seems to take responsibility for anything. Throughout his campaign and to the rest of the world JONATHAN was promising a free and fair election to Nigerians, so you mean he has no idea then that he is not Mr Jega when making those promises? |

Don't mind them, people just carry rumours,IBORI is still in jail. They think UAE is like Nigeria where they can buy justice. This is not rumour, the PDP have an agenda to bring him back at all cost, cus he is the chief financier of the party and they have succeeded |

If any criminal is not in jail, blame Jonathan and his attorney general I have heard it all over the last few days: Blame GEJ for Abacha looting the country. Blame GEJ for Buhari looting the country. Blame GEJ for CPC being financed with looted funds. Blame GEJ for the Tsunami in Japan. Blame GEJ for the nuclear meltdown in Japan. Blame GEJ for Jega's incompetence. Blame GEJ for the CPC logo (probably also stolen)missing on ballot papers. Blame GEJ for women abandoning their weddings for NNPC test. Blame GEJ for the uprising in the Middle East. Blame GEJ for Aisha Buhari's poor 'Umblella Like' English. |

Guys, in as mush as it is disheartening to see or hear this, let us not be in haste, we ust let justice take its natural cause. I have called Ibori the buggest coward in the history of Nigeria, allowing those he used to serve time on his behalf while he shuns jail. The guy is a big fhucking Coward for allowing others pay for his crime, but I have no doubt, that it is only a matter of time. And yes those who he caused to go to jail will be out to mock him. Please let us be reasonable, there is not evidence to suggest Goodluck has anything to do with this, so I will appeal to people to drop the insults |

monkeyleg:What do you mean there is no evidence that GEJ did it? February 19-2011 SaharaReporters has learnt from several authoritative sources that Nigeria's ruler, Goodluck Jonathan, is seeking a deal with the UK and United Arab Emirates (UAE) to allow former Governor James Ibori of Delta State to return to Nigeria. A source within the Jonathan administration familiar with the details of the deal said that Mr. Jonathan is “trying to persuade Britain and Dubai that to let Chief Ibori come back to Nigeria for a trial that would be a soft landing.” Mr. Ibori, who is currently being held in Dubai, has lost his legal battles to avoid extradition to the UK where prosecutors have prepared a case file detailing his extensive money laundering activities during the eight years he ran Delta State. Several of Mr. Ibori’s associates, including his wife, Theresa Nkoyo Ibori, mistress Udoamaka Okoronkwo (nee Onuigbo), sister, Christine Ibori-Ebie, and his London-based lawyer, Bhadresh Gohil, have been convicted by a Southwark Crown Court on money laundering charges. Most of them are serving five-year jail terms. A high level diplomatic source told Saharareporters that the delay in repatriating Mr. Ibori to London was as a result of the highly secretive negotiations that Mr. Jonathan initiated with the government of Britain to facilitate the embattled former governor’s return to Nigeria. “President Jonathan is assuring Britain that James Ibori will be tried by a Nigerian court, but the deal is to offer Chief Ibori the same kind of trial given to Mrs. Cecilia Ibru,” said a source, a member of Mr. Jonathan’s inner circles. SaharaReporters sources said Jonathan not only bought the plan to have Ibori face trial in Nigeria but is also using all kinds of inducements to secure British cooperation. “He’s offering more concessions to UK oil interests in Nigeria to ensure that his proposal on Ibori is endorsed,” said a source. Once the UK gives its assent, the proposal would then be sent to the monarchy in the UAE who will send Ibori back to Nigeria – to face another kangaroo trial. A source in the UK told Saharareporters earlier today: “We are appalled that the Nigerian government is pursuing a course of action calculated to enable Mr. Ibori to evade proper prosecution,” adding that “the current move calls into grave question the Nigerian government’s commitment to fighting financial crimes.” A legal expert in the UK said the chances were “extremely good that Ibori would be found guilty in the UK, but I can’t say the same would be true if he’s tried in Nigeria.” Several sources familiar with Jonathan’s effort to broker a highly secretive deal in Ibori’s favor disclosed that the current governor of Delta state, Emmanuel Uduaghan, was responsible for forcing Jonathan to embrace the proposal. Mr. Uduaghan, who is Ibori’s maternal first cousin, was handpicked by Ibori to succeed him. One source said that Governor Uduaghan insisted that his total support for Jonathan's presidential campaign would be predicated on Mr. Jonathan using his executive muscle to ensure Ibori’s return to Nigeria instead of his extradition to the UK. http://www.saharareporters.com/news-page/jonathan-secret-talks-bring-ibori-back-nigeria |
