Every leader has some element of good or bad
.

True
No leader is 100% good or 100% evil
.
I take that comment with a pinch of salt. ...

Reserving the title of despots for leaders of one race exclusively is what I object to. Desist from name calling, just point out what they did wrong. Even the two examples of white "despots" you were able to choke up were still those taught to us by our masters, Stalin the communist and Hitler the anti Jewish socialist

Hey stop that strawman please.

I can cite lots of examples of opppresive white leaders. Like FDR who during world war 2 imprisoned thousands of Japanese Americans , and even placed a lot of German Americans under surveilance , an act so evil that even the evil J.Edgar HOOVER .....himself more evil than FDR ...staunchly opposed it.

Or leaders like Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon whose bombings in Vietnam were wrong ...and they should have gone nowhere near Nam.(I don't like communism...but the Vietnamese were nationalists and independence activests first)...and yes, even chaps like Bush i and 2.

I can even go far back in history and mention a lot of genocidal white leaders (Richard the First, and the second and the third were all brutal rulers of the UK)..or even Nicholas II OF Russia.

Look, I don't like bad opressive leaders, wheter western , russian, african, etc etc...pro- or anti-. So, stop pretending I am a white lackey, I ain't. I jsut don't consider the sign of a good leader to be how many times he or she can shout 'Down with imperialism'.

. The only reason you think these are also despots is because white written textbooks tell you so.[/quote]

The point is don't believe everything you read or watch and question what you already believe.
Do you have all the necessary information to hold your current beliefs?
According to the world press North Korea is led by evil men
I have never been to North Korea and have no alternative source of information

What should I believe?

I do not like oppressive leaders either, nor do I believe that imperialism is the major cause of our present state; after all, we've had enough time already to shrug off the effects of colonial era exploitation. I just do not believe that only African or anti-Western-democracy leaders should be referred to as tyrants, despots or dictators, and special places reserved in the ICC only for them. Too often we permit the West to define our narrative for us.

"Why is Gaddhafi a tyrant and Kennedy a hero?"

"Because we say so, just have faith and repeat after us".

For the record, Kennedy was not that amazing a leader

You need to read history more. You are beleiving the 'antiimperialists' as much as those who bleeive the 'pro-imperialists' line do. Take a more nuanced view.

MODIFIED

You need to get rid of the 'good guy, bad guy' narrative of history most of us have to read and enjoy history.

I know Kennedy was not a great leader but Americans consider him a hero and expect everyone to do the same.

And no. I have no issue with either pro or anti imperialists. But I take offence at the hypocrisy of those who currently want to rewrite history; and those who cite them as well.

I am Yoruba and we call ourselves black people = eniyan alaawo dudu

What about you?

As an Ijo or Yoruba, you are still not admissible into intellectual department. Black people are slaves. Thank goodness you limited your dumb act to Yoruba. The connotation of the black or Negro followed the slave trade. The slaves accepted the nomenclature because they did not have any option.

Let us stop this 'helping the west destroy and control our minds' sort of thing. Because we happen to learn english in schools does not make us englishmen. How many people did the Bush's kill? How many did Clinton kill? how about Nixon? Obama? and how many is Biden going to kill and tag them terrorists. We should stop promoting Western interests and try to groom ours. When the west kill, they make it sound like fun, praise their soldiers and make it look like doing the right thing for a greater good. of which two and a half century on after independence, we have only seen an increase in poverty, starvation, hate and carnage as against what they pretend to be. This is possible because the culture of the whites is based on destruction and greed masked under philantropy(taking into account the fact that they are not of the land they claim they discovered) . Unfortunate but true. Every single policy, every single media coverage, every single constitutional amendment, is made in futherance of these basic ideals.

Wake them up! bro-those who believe they are inferior to the west' yet they have survived plagues that have wiped out many of the western population. Yet they still think themselves inferior. How absurd!

The very reason you have such information is because you are watching CNN, BBC,Fox News or the likes. Watch a DPRK Tv and your perception will change. Anyone not willingly to lose his identity is termed evil by english speaking media, or western influenced media. Research on how many rape cases happen in the US army that goes unreported. You will be duly amazed. Yet the non-military women are quick to scream rape! at the slightest provocation. It has become a tool for to draw attention to a target they intend to get back at. Some males are taking it, without looking thouroughly into an accusation.
