ASUU and SSANU/NASU never go on strike at the same time.

Other peculiarity allowances was involve in hospital workers salary and it does not involve in NASU/SSANU members salary. i.e Hazard allowances, overtime allowances, Unit heads allowances e.t.c

Pls how do you mean.. Don't say what you don't know.. An agreement was reached by both parties on the payment of earned allowances, minimum wage amongst others but the government has reneged on those agreements.. Are u suggesting the union should keep quiet and suffer for government reneging.. Other MDA's have got their minimum wages and allowances paid up to date while the Universities are yet to get theres.. who is fooling who. They have every right to demand for their entitlements..

I am not arguing with anyone. Ippis can capture any allowance. Account dept prepares payrol for ippis every month. Hospital workers are being paid based on the payroll sent to ippis. Every institution has its peculiarity. Nothing special about university system apart from rat . race. Hospitals have visiting consultants just as universities have visiting lecturers.
