Hello Ladies,

Did you use Damsel in Distress ploy to get your man?  Did you pretend like you didn't know how to rotate your car tires or build a deck in the backyard so that your man can feel "good" about helping you? 

A friend of mine said that she went to a hardware store to get some items for her house and she knew exactly what to get but she was testing the man to see how knowledgeable he was about different hardwares and things.  She said she spent about 30 minutes with the guy pretending that she did not know what he was talking about and walked out of the store with his phone number and a "fix it" date.  She said she was only testing the guy but I told her she did a Damsel in Distress ploy to get a man. 

What do you think?

This was just a random guy that she met at the hardware store. She said that she just wanted to test to see how much the guy know about home improvements and the tools but I believe she did it to get a man. She said she didn't and I think she is lying.

She didn't ask for his number. She said that she only asked him how to fix the repairs in her house and then that when he offered to assist her and gave her his number. They have a fix it date Sunday so he can help her with the repairs.

Do you think men fall for the Damsel in Distress ploy all the time?

I do it all the time. He knows I can do it, but it makes him feel so good when I ask him to take care of it. He will then show me how to do it, but I will conveniently "forget" how the next time. Plus he looks very sexy in his tool belt.

Well, this old lady used to tell me that it always good to let a man do most of the things even though we may know how to fix it or build it. She said that men are designed for those type of things and if he doesn't have a problem whatever it is needed to be done. Let him.

Sometimes I forget to play "Damsel" and when I do it the smile of Chima radiates miles away.

It boosts their ego thinking they are helping a dummy and inside her mind she is saying "Negro, I know how to do it and glad that you do too".
