Evangelist Edet: Any Christian That Celebrates Grammy Award Winners Will Miss Heaven

Victor Edet, a clergyman from Akwa Ibom State has stated that the Grammy Award is of the devil and that any Christian who celebrates winners of the award will miss heaven , IgbereTV reports.

According to him, Satan controls the music industry and a lot of people have sold their souls to Satan just to win the Grammy Award.

Which heaven? The one you made or the one above?

Of course, many in the music industry have obviously sold their souls to the devil for fame, but that doesn't means that every famous musician had to do that or did that to become famous.

Hence we shouldn't generalize and just paint everyone or thing associated with the industry black or to have come from the devil just because of such ones.

What if someone won a Grammy for singing "Jesus is King is kings" or "Christ died for our sins", would those who celebrate such a person because he did so preaching the gospel also miss heaven?

I am as spiritually driven as it could possibly get, however I think that sometimes we allow ourselves to be led by personal sentiments instead of the Spirit of God.

Grammy is a world stage, hence just as it is used to glorify the devil, it could also be used to to the glory of God and win souls for His kingdom.

Do you have any idea how many people tune in to watch those shows that have never been in the churches before?

Jesus said, "go into the world and preach the gospel..." not into the church (buildings)! Mark 16:15

Those who have God's interest at heart and truly desire to win souls for His kingdom, should try as much as possible to be led by His Spirit at all times and not their personal sentiments, otherwise that could see themselves missing out on some souls that ought to be won for the Kingdom of God.

That's how Jesus would have missed out on the soul of Samaritan woman had He followed the sentiments and preconceptions of His people, the Jews, and also His disciples, but He was led of the Spirit, hence He saved every soul that He ought to save including that of the Samaritan woman.

His perfect example is what I proffer to all who want to be likewise to follow.

I saw online where a worldly musician was being celebrated in a gospel music platform for winning a Grammy for his worldly songs, and it didn't sit well with me because i believe it's very wrong. So that's the exception and perhaps what he's talking about, but the Truth is that not all Grammy winners were worldly and have sold their souls to satan. Some are godly and win for singing gospel songs, so celebrating such ones who win Grammy by doing the right thing and preaching the gospel cannot make one miss heaven.

You don't know what you are talking about. You obviously don't even spend time studying the bible nor building your relationship with God.

And you cant convince me otherwise or others who are actually serving God in Spirit and truth. Many of you go to chruch only as an event. There is hardly any fear of God In this generation. No trembling at His word.

Tares have grown everywhere and claim to know what the bible says.

If you had a relationship with God and truly honored God's word. You would have have seen that being engrossed with the world and its ways is being in enmity with God.
