Tell them what they want to hear.... (Even if it's not the truth)

Yoruba and Fulani journeyed in the same route to present day northern region of Nigeria before Caliphate and Nupe decided to evict Yoruba from Kontagora.

I know you aren't Igbo anyway, you must be one of those aboki children stolen from the North and trafficked to Anambra because I know a real Igbo won't be spewing sewer stuff from the recesses of his mind, capable of endangering his kith and kin in another man's land.

Feel free to stop quoting me now. I've already lost some brain cells trying to understand the degree of your ailment.
I am not Igbo but yoruba.

You yorubas need help

The world Igbo was given to Ibos by Ajayi crowther. The Aborigines of Ile Ife are Ugbo and their current king is Oba Dr Fredrick Enitolorunda Obateru Akinruntan. Ooni is the Yoruba spiritual head, and he is the Arole, so he is the number 1 Yoruba citizen. Ibos in the SE are nothing but prey to the Ijaws during the slave era. Asari dokubo confirmed it.

The Ibos were slaves to the bini kingdom too.The binis founded Onitsha for them, that is why they are the only tribe in Nigeria with the smallest landmass.

Does ile ife have a Yoruba meaning? It actually does have a perfect meaning in Igbo. That should be a pointer that an Igbo man actually named that town. This information is hidden in plain sight.

Ile ife means land of love.Yoruba and Ibos are not the same but Ibos and fulanis are one and the same, attachee by force and land grabbers.

The only attached by force are Yorubas trying to lay claim to Ife, an aboriginal Igbo land.

Igbos can claim Benin kingdom (former slaves of the benin kingdom)not Yorubaland. We are not related in anyway.Be proud of your origin for once.

The Bini royalty are related to the Yorubas as well as the itshekiris in Delta.

We have no business with Yorubas, our only interest is reclaiming our land in IFE, an aboriginal Igbo land.

The name Igbokwe is older than Ajayi Crowther, so how come he named us?

Yorubas and their brown roof education.

Go and claim Sokoto, the heritage of Hausa/Fulani.There will come a time ,ibos will really provoke the Yorubas to deserve the Hausa/fulani treatment on Yoruba soil if you guys dont desist from claiming what is not yours.
Thieves claiming everyones heritage.

A word is enough for the wise.

I hope you are not counting Lagos as part of Yoruba land?

Lagos belongs to:

1. Ijebus

2. Aworis

3. Binis

4. Ijaws

I understand your obsession with everything Yoruba.

It's just like the black man's obsession with everything American.

The tendency to always try to piggyback on your betters is overwhelming in your case.

If ever the Ooni mentioned something like this, then here is who he was referring to:

The Ugbo people that now currently inhabit a part of Ondo state close to the riverine area.

They were a part of Ile-Ife and their father was the chief consort for Oduduwa, Oranfe the man who brought out fire from his mouth.

Till today, his house is called Oranfe, onile ina (House of Fire)

The first born of that chief consort behaved badly and sought to inherit his father while he was still alive but on a journey with Oduduwa. The son had thought his father would die on the journey but his father came back and banished him forever.

He left Side and began to inhabit the surrounding forest close to Ife. That's why they are called Ugbo or Igbo people. Note that Igbo in Yoruba means bush or forest. So in other words, they were the bush people.

The man became their first king, i.e the Olugbo of Igbo/Ugbo kingdom which kingdom still exists somewhere in Ondo state today.

It was these same Ugbo/Igbo people who used to carry out raids on Ife people, whom Queen Moremi defeated and wrote her name in gold forever.

Sorry to disappoint you expansionist land grabbers and land thieves, the Igbo or Ugbo mentioned in connection with Ife is not the Biafrans of today.

Go and tell the ooni and your esteemed Yoruba historians , apparently, you know far more than they do!

"Yoruba" were never native to southern Nigeria. Yoruba first settlement in what became Nigeria points to Kontagora, Niger State.

YOU HAVE LOST YOUR ROOTS AND CULTURE AND REPLACED IT WITH GREED, HATRED AND BITTERNESS.

How many of you even respect your traditional religion today?

YOU SPIT ON IT.

You are just LOST people.

Even Yorubas that are Christian and Muslim still respect Yoruba religion and traditions.

The worst thing about them is that the ones with God Given leadership qualities they Ostracized like they are doing to Ex Gov of Ebonyi David Umahi

Then they would declare bandits to be their National Heros

So crooks like Kanu and Simon Ekpa continue to rule them

The Osu people must have been the good ones with noble characters and were Ostracized for it

Nobody turned anything upside down. It is folks like you that are actually trying to create confusion where none exist. Ile Ife is the centre of creation and the source of humanity. All tribes and ethnicities migrated from the source where life started - Ile Ife.

Your Nri kings migrated from Ife. The Obi of Onitsha migrated from Ado (Edo) to Onitsha. However, it’s also in Onitsha history that they originally migrated from Ile Ife to Ado (Edo) before migrating to Onitsha. There is no controversy about this.

This one is already shaking out of insecurity. Pls what does "original inhabitants" mean?
The Igbo were the original inhabitants of Ife and had installed, and practiced a culture based on their ancient Odinala religion of peace, of the divine rights of the individual and not of kings, of the protection and validation of the weak and infirm, of an artistic and creative value rather than of war and destruction. All these values are embodied in the myth of Obatala the sculptor and creative “demiurge” of current Yoruba mythology.

You can continue with your feel-good fairy tale of the universe starting in Ile ife. We all talk ourselves into comfort but it can't be substituted with carefully research, as the professor has done.

Ugbo is different from Igbo. The Ugbos are still in Ondo state. There's Olugbo of Ugbo. His story aligns with the story of how Moremi helped the Ifes to conquer the Ugbos. She pledged her son, Oluorogbo and gave herself up to be captured by the Ugbos so as to study them to ensure their defeat, which came to pass.

Moremi was from Offa but married into the royal family of Ife.

Chinua Achebe died at 83, and still couldn't achieve what Prof. Wole Soyinka had already achieved.

Prof. Soyinka will be 90 in few weeks but still more intelligent and smarter than your Peter Obi who is still in his early 60s.

There are levels to these things my people, Prof. Wole Soyinka is not your father's mate
