Has the US Government denied that Pantami is not on the list?

As to these comments about killing Christians, did Pantami make these comments or not?

A report came out that Pantami was on a US terror watchlist. I looked at the report and it was wishy washy. There was no interview with anyone, there was no document to back the claim, all that was in it was "alleged".

Then one of the mediums that published it published a reaction when they realised that the article was fake.

Dr Pantami threatened to sue and the medium that originally published the article retracted it an apologised.

Another medium, Pulse NG, called the US Embassy, the CIA, FBI, etc and they all denied that he was on any watchlist

Nobody has provided any source for the allegations. It's not on any foreign medium or any US Government website.

Now you are giving me a statement that he allegedly made in 2000.

As for the Gazette, they seem to, for now, have facts. If they do, they should offer it up for public scrutiny. But their rpeort has more evidence than the Independent's vague story.

The Curisaders came from the whole church at the time. (at the time, the Church was made up of the Western and Eastern church. Western church organsied the crusades, eastern church tacitly supported it)

And they did commit atrocites (the capture of Jerusalem resulted in the deaths of lots of innocent people in the thousands.)

But once the war ended, they settled down to rule, and were to a large extent tolerant.

Crusades were raised simply because muslim leaders were at the time attacking christian pilgrims to what is now Israel and Palestine...before muslim leaders left such pilgrims alone, but then a new guy took over....

Infact, the whole issue of Crusades being an attack on Islam is a recent phenonenom....and it was raised by Arab nationalists in the wake of workd war one...after the European powers refused to guarantee independent Arab states as had been promised (a discussion on that matter is another long and complicated story). Origianally it was an attack on Arabs of all creeds, then Islamic fundamentalists co-opted the idea.

In talking about the Crusades, we have to start with 'which one?'

Is it the Crusades in what is now Poland, and the Baltics ? (which were wars of forced conversion really) or the Crusades in the Holy Land (which while being violent were a response to Muslim attacks over 200 years...and which ended with Euro-Chirstian rule over much of Palestine and Syria for some 200 years..which was largely tolerant, and allowed Muslims to freely practice their religion)

Thanks again for yesterday's thread...and the report posted by OP too commented that the 'watchlist' thing was salacious and false.

But the recordings and comments he made...that's going to be difficult to deal with, though the Gazette has not released the recordings yet.

Pantami may not be on any watchlist, but his views , if the report is true, are problematic.

The US clearly said "WE WILL NOT DENY OR ACCEPT HE IS ON OUR WATCHLIST" which is the usual practice especially when the person is actually guilty but they don't want to compromise investigations.
