Guy simple question how much money does Onitsha market generate in one year

If you do not have that information then keep quiet and stop making noise like an OMATA urchin

Once again

I don't know anything of the such.

And who pushed you to start asking for Biafra?

You only started agitating when Goodluck Jonathan lost the election.

You mean there are more people and buying power in iboland than the SW?

Have you ever wonder why generation after generation of ibo people dream and leave the comfort of their homes, towns and villages just to migrate to the SW for survival and their daily bread? Have you?

Are the industries and Nigeria's industrial base in iboland?

Are all the goods and services used and consumed across Nigeria made and consumed in the SE? or the SW or you just think we are talking about your village ugu leaf market?

You people don't apply common sense and reality to your narrow, empty and shallow chest-beating..

Comedians..

What is stopping us from building a port kwanu?

There's already an existing port at Onitsha running skeletal services. There's a proposed site for a river port in Abia state, much closer to the Atlantic than the present port at Onitsha.
we need to see it developed we massive uplifting from it
Re: Biafra: Can We Build A Port At Onicha River Niger[photos ] by GerogeI(m): 4:25pm On Jun 03, 2021
Dear OP,
We can actually do better than that.
We can use existing rivers to divert the river niger through artificial canals from Onitsha, up to Anam, down to Awka and to Umuahia,

From Umuahia, we can use ungated canals to split the water between Calabar River and Imo River.
We can still allow some water on the Original Niger trough.
Effectively we get entry from 3 River in a
Country Crisscrossed by water ways, and
Abundant River banks for Ports.

Each of the current states can have a River port.
Stop listening to those who scare you about being landlocked.
We live in the rain forest, we control the source of the two of the rivers, and upstream flow of the Niger and can cut it off, should anyone at the coast deny us free movement.

Imagine the Niger, now flowing down the middle of Port Harcourt. The economics will be spectacular.
