Uganda police open fire as Nigeria leader's car stoned Animals - But who the hell is his security advisor? Better still - Why does he not call in an 'Air Strike'? |
Re: Breaking News:president Goodluck Jonathan Attacked In Uganda by hercules07: 8:43pm On May 12, 2011 |
Call in airstrike on Uganda? You think that country is one small country when it comes to way, they have been at war for decades, do not try their army o. |
Re: Breaking News:president Goodluck Jonathan Attacked In Uganda by Sunofgod(m): 8:53pm On May 12, 2011 |
hercules07: Nigerian soildiers are the most 'Savage' as far as I'm concerned. However the 'Air Strike' should not be at the ugandan army but at the 'Rebels' / 'Protesters' Its now legal in international law. Nigeria needs to 'flex its muscle' in Africa. 1 Like |

na wa o. why attack GEJ? i knw some people will want to draw CPC and almajiris into this which just a joke. whatever the case maybe we shall kown why by tomorrow. perhaps they mistaken someone else convoy for GEJ's convoy. |
Re: Breaking News:president Goodluck Jonathan Attacked In Uganda by ziccoit: 10:25pm On May 12, 2011 |
The man sworn in to fourth term? Is that in Uganda constitution? If it is not, GEj has no business being there and stoning serves him right. Otherwise, Uganda needs to tender an apology to the rat of Africa-Nigeria. 3 Likes |

again I ask, wetin GEJ do? I'm not fan of his, but this is the height of disrespect to the Nigeria. If they have issues with their government why take it out on a visiting leader? |

From the stable of Thisday: Jonathan Not Attacked in Uganda, Says Niboro By Ahamefula Ogbu 13 May 2011 "The Presidency has denied reports that the convoy of President Goodluck Jonathan was attacked in Uganda where he is attending African Union (AU) meeting. In a response to THISDAY inquiries on the reported attack, the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ima Niboro, said the report was not true and advised that it be discountenanced. So who is telling the truth? "There was no attack. We only passed by opposition elements, whose leader returned to Uganda today (yesterday), during a peaceful procession on our way to the airport", he explained. However, some wired reports claimed that the convoy of Jonathan was stoned and pelted with pebbles. They did not advance reasons why what they claimed happened." Guys, don't get your adrenalin up over a non issue please |

I wonder what GEJ is doing at the inauguration of a dictator who has been in power for 25 years? He should have stayed away from such ceremony and send his envoy because of the current instability in that country than the embarrassment he has caused us with the loss of lives of Ugandans at the hands of GEJs Uganda guards. I hope he will not go to Ivory Coast on the 21st May for the swearing in of French installed Ouattara to avoid a worst scenario because many Ivorians are bitter with Nigeria for threatening to use force to remove Gbagbo which was accomplished by the French Licorne? Let GEJ be careful in his dealings with African dictators, the world is changing. Obama cannot visit even Egypt or Tunisia at this point rather he will send his Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. The office of the Secretary to the Federal Govt of Nigeria should be strengthened like that of America to avoid putting our president in harms way. 1 Like |

Mr. President seems to like learning the hard way. The world has very little tolerance for inappropriate comments, decisions and actions these days. The Presidency is not a place to start learning about history or diplomacy. If he lacks the wherewithal in these and other areas. He had better go and get gurus to help him out. I knew it was the wrong move the day I learnt he was going to Museveni's inauguration. The guy is not exactly Africa's poster boy for democracy, good governance and the rule of law, why would you want to be seen hobnobbing with him? 2 Likes |
