So many African countries are being ruled by despotic demoniac s; 25 years and going in for another term - what evil? I suppose GEJ thinks if he attends their own then they will attend his but he should look out for strong role models of democracy in Africa - South Africa, Ghana, Botswana and few others not Uganda.

Da Doctor:

GEJ was not attacked- Says NiboroSource Thisday Newspaper, 13th May, 2011, page 3
youself 'clever' pass GEJ! How can you believe comments from that niboro of a person on a PDP newspaper?

FYI, this news was reported live by al' jazera and reuters also covered it yesterday. GEJ convoy was attacked but i doubt if the protesters knew whose convoy it was.

By the way, what economic interest do nigeria have in Uganda of all places to warrant GEJ 'wasting' our money on such a needless trip? What do nigeria as a nation stand to gain from the incoming president's government? Did it finally dawn on GEJ that most of the presidents/heads of states who were there were mainly those one would regard as 'despotic' leaders?

Hope they did not stone him with pure water like ohakim!
Re: Breaking News:president Goodluck Jonathan Attacked In Uganda by nikynike(f): 1:27pm On May 13, 2011
He should have rejected that visitation. He shouldn't please people to his death. That visit could have led to his death. The man has ruled Uganda for 25 years. And he amended constitution to suit his government. He wasn't a good leader throughout his 25th yrs in power and he is being sworn in again. I mean, our president should ve sent some representatives and not himself to such visit. I didnt enjoy that news. Even though they stoned all Nigerians but, he should learn from this. We were all happy that God has giving us a good leader but his first diplomatic visit was Uganda. His advisers should go and research and make more use of their senses.
Re: Breaking News:president Goodluck Jonathan Attacked In Uganda by cap28: 1:33pm On May 13, 2011
birds of the same feather flock together- isnt it funny how clueless GEJ could find the time to attend the inauguration ceremony of a man who has been in power for over 25 years but fail to find the time to attend a meeting in tripoli to find a way to resolve the more pressing problem of another african country which is mercilessly being invaded and bombed by a group of neo colonialists?

Anyway those of you thinking GEJ is any better than this dictator he went to visit,  you will all be eating your words  when the next wave of austerity measures are implemented  - wait your own turn is coming.

GEJ shouldn't have gone for such inauguration, since the president of Uganda isn't showing any good example to the world. Anyways, i follow thank God with others say they no kill am,

In as much as the visit was uncalled to many Scholar, i strongly believe it will foster inter-national collaborations. Remember no nation is totally independent, and would need help of some sort someday? . We are seen as 'the giant of Africa', (but that apart, cos its just a tag), We need to act as such too, .Didnt more than 10 president come here when we were having our independence and wont many come here by 29th may? Lets look beyond dat and thank God it wasnt something serious, had it resulted to casualty wont we all be anticipating revenge instead of castigating the visit?the bottom line is visits strenghten relationships and ties even in the normal day living great mind!!!

The Ugandan psesident was being sworn in the 4th time. Is that legal? If not, what's our president doing there in the first instance!

I think he got what he deserves.

So long we talk of africa, Nigeria has no mate in military might not even south africa nor egypt. If you check our military expenditure you'll see some reasonable fortification. Nigeria can take african countries by twos until utter annihilation if political propaganda and intrinsic under tones are eliminated. grin tongue
Re: Breaking News:president Goodluck Jonathan Attacked In Uganda by hardbody: 3:58pm On May 13, 2011
grin grin grin

According to Lady GEJ, why should they not 'stonning Jonathan, ehn?, those 'stonners' who are their parents that they now want to stone Jonathan and make 'her' a 'widows'. Next time ehn, Jonathan will travel with 'Umblerras' to 'catsh' the stones.

Someone abeg wake me up.

But on a serious note, that guy Jonathan is so politically naive, what is he doing attending the inauguration of a pariah state leader, Na wa oo. Political Immmaturity at its peak. Abi that guy aint got advisers? or were they all blinded because of the estacode that will accrue to that trip?

Lets Go to WARRRR, using almajaris to go and combat them one-on-one.

Let us recall our ambassador from there immediately to register our displeasure at what happened. Does it mean they left GEJ without any convoy.
Nigeria must review our diplomatic ties with Uganda as a matter of urgency. I trust Abacha for a time like this.

The man won their election, he is not a dictator, he might have ruled for 4 terms but his constitution allows it so all of you should calm down.
