How Biafra Will Loose In a Referendum by Biodun556(m): 1:32pm On Oct 11, 2021
If referendum is scheduled in 2 months time, this is how ipobians will loose in a referendum:

1. Federal government places over one million Ibos in federal civil service on one month leave for them to prepare for referendum.
( this news will send shock down the spine of some ibos and they will be telling their family members the consequences of forfeiting their jobs some of them will withdraw support for biafra)

6 weeks to referendum

2. States and local governments all over the federation will place all their ibo civil servants on one months leave . This means about three million ibos are already jobless. ( with this news, some ibos will be shedding tears)

4 weeks to referendum

3.state governments except those in South East withdraws C of O of all ibos who have landed properties in Nigeria. This news will make some ibos to start selling their properties at give away price while others will be campaigning against biafra referendum.

3 weeks to referendum

4. Nigerian Immigration Service announces that all illegal migrants should prepare to leave Nigeria in one months time ( after referendum). By this time reality will set in and they will then realize the beauty of Nigeria and start asking questions whether biafra could offer better lives.

A week to referendum

5. Nigerian banks, telecommunication services, electricity etc would have started readjusting to changes that may soon happen. This will make them to reduce services in the South East due to currency, political and logistics issues. This means that their will be poor or no services in South East, consequently millions of more ibos will loose thier jobs.

Referendum modalities

Should referendum be conducted in South East alone or through out the federation for Ibos who are leaving outside South East?

In the end, it will be agreed that ibos outside South East must be allowed to vote.

What is population distribution of ibos in Nigerian?

South East 15 million

Ibos outside South East 30 million

Result of referendum

90% for Nigerian 10% for Biafra

All this measure just to hold unto troublesome Ibos?
Lol!.
Now I'm feeling important.

Newsflash: Majority will still vote for Biafra even after all those measures.

I like that you are beginning to accept that Ndiigbo must get a referendum.

Dude the Igbos in civil service re the hungry Igbos... Don't ever compare a salary earner to business men..

U people lose sense and sensibility on top Igbo matter

Common sense dictates that any job lost in Nigeria will be created in Biafra..

Ministries will be created..
Jobs will be created.. IGBOS survived civil war and have out grown you and ur tribe.. What make u think they will be scared of ordinary referendum..

Where is ur sense..

Boy Anambra and abịa top States wit huge Bank transactions and number of bank branches..

Do you think they will leave Anambra to oyo or osun abi ekiti and ondo... Sorry oooo... Anambra is very important to the banks and they know this more than an ignorant nonentity like you...

There are many Igbo owned banks and mocrofinance that will position to thrive...

Have sense

Your post above shows how unenlightened you are, is that how an internationally acclaimed referendum is conducted? Is that how Britain conducted referendum n Scotland?

And you think if ibos are allowed to go for referendum, it won't cause crisis?
That will be the beginning of more wahala as other ethnic nationalists will demand there's too...infact the mention n conduct of it will cease the existence of Nigeria!

From all the comments, I have not seen anyone ipob pig that offered counter strategy. The only thing they did best is using abusive words and name calling the person who let out those master strategies.

Like honestly? I thought you were educated enough to understand how a referendum works. Apparently, neither you nor the OP is educated enough to understand the working of a referendum. Please, stop posting on NL and go to school... your mates are pursuing Ph.D. and you spend your life on a faceless forum that adds no value to you.
Let me ask you if you wanted to be politically relevant, how would people know you as "Helinues", a faceless name? How do all these posts add value to your life?
