Obi Cubana's Wife Reacts To Her Husband's Arrest By The EFCC For Money Laundering

Earlier news broke out that Nigerian business man Obi Cubana had been arrested by the EFCC for money laundering and tax fraud.

Reacting to the news, his wife and vice chairman of the Cubana Group took to her Instagram story to share news of her winning the award for the most outstanding philanthropist of the year at the Nigeria Service Awards.

So does being a philanthropist absolve him of the allegations of fraud levelled against him?
For those who know... most of the people involved in money laundry are philanthropist too.

I concur. He need to lie low....he also need to talk to his fat motor mouth chief priest. That one talks too much and act like a child.

Cubana should stop exposing himself. I said it here when Abba Kyari was courting him. I knew it won’t end well.

Emoney is next. He disturbs the peace of the environment and traffic with his out riders and noise. When you caution these kids, you’d be tagged a hater and jealous person.

They are not the first to make and earn more than the average Nigerian but they need to learn to be humble and spend their money without attracting unnecessary attention to themselves.

But do you know that in the Uk, surgeons are addressed as Mister or Miss? These include professors in the field of medicine.

In Nigeria, it would be Dr., Dr. Consultant Professor Tunde Okonkwo.

If you watch CSI or read detective/investigative novels you'll notice they are usually called attorneys. An attorney is the US English word for a barrister.

This is what most of us believe, but it is not entirely true. Whether you disturb people or not is not the problem. The most important thing is to do a one-off fraud and quit.

There's a common saying that many wealthy people were once into fraud but stopped at some point and invested their loots.

If you continue to defraud people, the authorities will definitely come after you, no matter how silent or loud you are.

However, it is too early to suspect Obi Cubana. Let's hear the official statement from the EFCC first.
