I'm from an Anambra neighbouring state but have lived so long in Anambra to tell the difference between Obi and Obiano.

While Ngige recovered and saved Anambra from Ubah family stranglehold, Obi set the economic and general development pase for Anambra's growth in all ramifications.

Obi, Chimaroke, and Dave (though I personally don't like his thuggery system of administration) remain the best governors ever emerged in the southeast after Sam Mbakwe, Jim Nwobodo, and CC Onoh.

Sorry to say, Obiano bankrupt Anambra. I hope Soludo will do the needful to justify the people's confidence in him.

So, op, you are just a bitter hater of Obi. Whatever be the reason for you to come up with this type of writeup should be reviewed.

All these castigations are not what we need now. No human being is perfect.
Ngige saved Anambra from godfatherism.
Obi instituted integrated development of all sectors.
Obiano consolidated on Obi's achievement and gave us solid infrastructures with economy-boosting ventures to boast about.

In all they are humans and have their shortcomings. Nobody is perfect. So all these mudslinging is not what we need in Anambra now.

Did you not read recently that incoming Gov Soludo asked the so called revenue collectors - who line their pockets with money daily under your present Gov Obiano - to keep having their field day until March 17th when he will be inaugurated? How does that not sound to you like revenue loss under your sanctimonious Obiano? Until he started to play to the gallery with the airport, please tell us the state of roads under Obiano. The only thing that Obiano will achieve more than Obi is that he will answer to EFCC after his tenure in March. This is me hoping he come out of that scrutiny unscathed.

I still rate him high for the Airport project though and he has written his name permanently in the history of Anambra. That been said he can never match Obi in integrity and character as well as developmental initiatives.

Comparing Obi with Obiano, Oga u shud be ashamed of yourself! Obi was the first Governor in that state to complete two terms within which he overcame a successful impeachment attempt against his administration. The only sellable candidate of Eastern extraction and ure trying to smear his image, are u really from that state as u claim??

There's nothing financially reckless about government spending on infrastructure. Are you telling me that during Peter Obi's tenure the state was so developed that there wasn't any infrastructure that the 'saved' money could have been directed towards?? Like seriously? What's the savings for really? Is the money not meant to be spent for the betterment of the state? Of what use is money that you have saved in a bank when you have needs that could be met by that money, when it can be spent towards meeting the needs of your constituents, or investing it to grow it? Some of you just defend nonsense.

Fact is just that Peter Obi, while he was governor, lacked ideas on how to invest money wisely for the state. Nigeria can't afford that sort of stupidity at the National level because we are a developing country and need to keep finding ways to raise money (either from IGR or debt financing/loans) to spend on development so that we can catch up with developed countries.

I was one of the silent PDP financiers in Anambra towards the end of Peter Obis government. Never really liked or hated him. I grew up in Anambra State till I was 24. The strike of 1999 and 2002 that affected schools in Anambra State affected me. Let's not forget where Anambra State was when Ngige picked it and when Obi picked it. Obiano has a privilege others never had... For 2 years plus, Nigige was fighting, Peter Obi fought too... Obiano didn't have anyone to fight cuz of the foundation Obi laid...
