yes but not all of them 80% true and 20% wrong, you have to do a lot of investigation and make a research about her elder sister, if they are still in their husband wife or separated before you commit yourself, i am talking from experience, Good luck

it's true to some extent. . . .most men won't want to deal with the baggage from your broken home. the whole step dad step mum nonsense can be tedious. step brother/step sister is also drama. with these things come jealousy and envy even when there's none, nigerians easily read meanings to everything said jokingly or seriously. i'd rather not deal with that.

It depends on how you look at it. You simply cannot have a yes or no answer for this one. It is true that in the United States statistics show that a child from a divorced home is more likely to also divorce at least once. Also that a child that was born out of wedlock would also likely repeat the same thing. I like statistics but there is not a clear answer to this because I feel at the end of the day it is what you instill in the child that matters. If you get divorced and remarry five times of course your children might think marriage is a joke. If you get a divorce though but raise your kids well and help them understand moral values and possibly the value in marrying and doing your best to stay married then I think that child will do well. As a matter of fact the trials that many people from broken homes go through is what makes many of them fight to the end to make sure their children do not go through the same thing.

Generally, it is presumed to be so. But influences in background and exposure to sound moral principles rooted in Christ can make a lady a wonderful and priceless wife asset.

IMO I think its dependent mostly on the upbringing the person received alongside with the experiences of the person while growing up. I think the person's personal aspirations and deteemination also shapens the person to become a good spouse rather than any of the assumed explanations above. Its just my 10 Cents.

My own research shows that Bad Husbands makes Bad wife.

It does not matter whether your wife is from a broken home or an unbroken home. If you the husband is a broken man, by this I mean, if you are a weak man with no set principle of running your family, then you are likely going to end up breaking your family because you are a broken man ab initio.

I also agree that most women from broken homes may likely end their marriage in divorce but if they married a principled man, he is likely to turn the tide against them.

We should remember that most women see their fathers in their husbands so we need to show a distinction by becoming the better man. This way you will save the woman from the broken home from breaking your home. simple

Not necessarily, it is just more likely than one from a more stable home. It also depends on the experience in the broken home in my opinion.

If she suffered tremendously emotionally or financially in the broken home, she might be more likely to try and keep a steady home of hers.

If she grew up with a mother that wore a single-mother-badge-of-honour saying "women can do it on their own" and the mother was able to cater for the kids all by herself, the risk is quite high. It is likely the child might think single motherhood is not a big deal (or even a sign of strength/female empowerment) and will be more willing to rock the boat.

That first part is the intent.

The second problem is the knowledge. Someone that has not grown up seeing a functioning male-female relationship is more likely to struggle to create one of her own.

That said, personalities counts a lot, and she might just be right and alright.

Life is full of the good, the bad and the ugly; like wise wife from a broken home can be either good, bad or ugLy. use this statistic to decide: GOOD 70%, BAD (Cruel) 20%. UGLY 10%

If I study a girl (and I am eagle eye with doing such) and she is a good person, with the right personality, good interaction skills, great mentality and she is one the best I have met, I would marry her irrespective of the family structure she came from.

Why Ladies alone? Men and Women from broken homes have to work extra hard to make their marriages work because they did not have a good example to look at when dealing with marriage.

Yes, I think mostly true but not always true.

The factors are simple, A girl from a stable home is afraid to go back home with her luggage that i am done with that useless husband because she knows her mother and father will likely not agree and allow her disgrace them.

But for a child from a broken home, the mother can quickly say, "welcome my dear, i told u all men are the same"

A yoruba adage says that it is better to have a bad wife than a bad in-law.

I believe everything is by conscious effort and God's grace all the same.

-My Opinion.

So because she comes from a broken home she's not good enough for marriage?
When will people lose this type of mentality?
