Appeal court would at least sit 5 times before delivering their judgement, 2 months interval making almost 10 months in Appeal alone, how many months left for Umahi?

Umahi is a workaholic governor but his greed forced him into thinking he'd get the presidential ticket of APC on a platter.

That is how he abandoned the party that rode him to power. He forgot what my signature says.

It is high time the politicians in this country align themselves with the ideals of a party rather than using the parties as a mere political vehicle.

The scenario that played out in Kogi state should not be forgotten easily.
Abubakar Audu was coasting home to victory on the platform of APC when he transitioned to the great beyond.

Yahaya Bello of APC inherited all the votes cast for Abubakar Audu of the APC.


That is how Bello became the governor without participating in the contest or touring the 21 local governments for campaign during his first tenure.

So Umahi who is arguably one of the best three governors in the country has suddenly become a good for nothing old thief.

Smh.

Nigerians don't give a Bleep about good governance. All they care about is having their preferred party candidates in power. Doesn't matter if he's the worst of the pack, just belong to a party they prefer.

You missed the brilliance of this chess move. It's not about throwing Umahi out of office. But rather, it's about keeping aggrieved governors who intend to crosscarpet due to one disagreement or another in a confused state. It's about starving the likes of Atiku and Tinubu of the support of elected bigwigs in their respective parties if they intend to cross over with their allies. It's about throwing them off balance. You are thinking about checkers in response to a chess move

Stop thinking inside the box.
The crux of this matter is that the judgments will reduce the despicable act of cross-carpeting by the politicians.

This defections have contributed to the spiral downturn of socio-economic advancement of this country.

The manifestos or ideology of two parties may not align.
These politicians would then switch camp seamlessly thereby affecting the delivery/fulfilment of those manifestos.
