If you bring these people to nigeriabto head small organisation I won't be surprised they will struggle to do so.

Success in organisations is beyond just having a big degree. Its more of leadership skills, problem solving skills, organisational skills,creativity and innovation and that is where Nigerians struggle because our pre university education doesn't prepare us for that.

I was recently at a hugh school graduation in Houston and come and see speeches given by 17year old! It will be difficult to find even a first class graduate in Nigeria to stand on a stage, face 1000 parents and deliver a sensible, rousing, thought provoking speech.

You're wrong.
You need to be very smart to have high grades, and that smartness would help you wherever you find yourself, if properly trained.

I presume you mean in the last paragraph that not being eloquent in English means one is a failure.
Mastery of English language isn't a thing of joy as we've been programmed to believe.
That 17 year old that performed well speaks only English and has been thinking with English from childhood.
You can't compare that with us who have our language but have to change to another language entirely.
Our original setting has been disturbed to believe our language isn't good enough for anything, which is a great lie.

Real talk, bro. I've been advising my fellow lawyers on the futility of getting an LLM. If you want to increase your income, there is a very slim chance that doing an LLM will boost your employment chances over someone who has practical experience in that particular field. If one must do an LLM, it is best to make sure that the course of study is aligned with the nature of briefs that he encounters regularly. It is madness to go and do an LLM in telecommunication or electricity law if I am a legal practitioner who does not intend to either work in academia or practice in Lagos State or Abuja. But they won't listen. Maybe they will hear when they have over 60,000 dollars in debt on college tuition with no plan on how to recover the initial investment.

Yes. Igbos bear Ola and Olu. It's a short form of some long Igbo names which most igbos in diaspora shorten cos of pronunciation difficulty.
E.g Olachukwudinma , Olachi, e.t.c Shortened to Ola
Oluebubechukwu,Oluchukwu, Oluchi,e.t.c shortened to Olu. I can give you so many examples.

There is virtually no law in Nigeria. If you want justice, you need money and power, otherwise, you will see SHEGE! In the USA, to evict a tenant owing you rent takes one week. Here in Nigeria, the same process can take anywhere from one year or more depending on the stubbornness of the tenant. What about human rights? Try shouting about how your state govt is failing to provide infrastructure without knowing anybody in power. Just one call, SSS go pick you up- you fit dey there six months and nobody go know. Before you begin activism, you gats know senior men for power wey u fit call to rescue you when dem dey try manhandle you.
