Obi the pandora whose son that's not working yet having several multiple millions to his name is the one that's no thief? He did nothing in Anambra too.

I don't see this merger working ahead of the 2023 elections. Kwakwanso has been scheming to be president since 2015, that is why he left the pdp to contest the APC primaries in 2015, he also left the APC to contest the pdp primaries in 2019. Now, he left the pdp to join the nnpp to contest for the 2023 elections and u expect him to leave and become vp candidate to Peter Obi in LP? Likewise I don't see obi also leaving to be vp to kwakwanso in nnpp because if he wanted the vp he would have stayed in pdp which has a higher chance of victory at the polls than nnpp.

Problems
1. Both parties can't merge
2. A new party can't be formed

Solution
1. One candidate leaves his party and joins the other party

Problem from Solution
1. Peter Obi is poster boy for LP will he leave LP for NNPP?

2. It is difficult for Kwankwaso to leave NNPP for LP because

i. His party has strong candidates especially in the Northwest and it will be tedious for them to move to Labor with him
ii. Will candidates under LP be willing to forgo their candidacy for NNPP candidates or will NNPP candidates be willing to forgo their candidacy for LP candidates?

Solution to problems from Solution
Kwankwaso leaves alone to LP and abandon his candidates in NNPP but this will be the worst political move ever

Legal paper works can be done. Many mushrooms parties in the past have backed other parties without a definite merger and/or even agreement.

It will be a coalition rather than a merger for now.

Labour party must not be touched because it's the NLC party. So forget a merger unless they would retain the name Labour Party. Kwankwaso can't leave his ppl that is not how a leader behaves. I highly doubt the merger.
Me too .I don't see any positive result from this merger talk.

Well, Tinubu didn't run the country, did he? He wasn't the president.

While we can agree that Buhari didn't do his best. He faltered in the area of economics and standard of living (which is Tinubu's area of expertise). Also, Buhari is an extremist and a tribal man, another thing Tinubu isn't.

I don't see this as a problem.

Kwankwaso can easily talk to his supporters to move to LP. When Rochas won the governorship election under APGA, we defected to APC and carried his supporters with him, Dave of Ebonyi state did the same thing, he went to APC with his supporters.

Kwankwaso is highly respected in the North, he can talk to all his supporters and aspirants to defect to LP and support his vision.

It's not an issue, cos we've seen it play out so many times.
But Obi cannot tell his supporters to easily move to NNPC?
Is Kwankwaso Obi mate politically and everything?
Igbos should be fooling themselves thinking Kwankwaso will so belittle himself to be vp to Obi, who political dreams is unstable.
Igbos should go for political research between kwankwaso and Obi and let their conscience do the conclusion who should be vp.
Igbos and their greediness is just in everything.

Then they should join hands together by collapsing structure for one another. Like, kwakwaso should agree to be VP to obi and sign agreement that, after obi tenor, he will handover to kwakwaso. Just my % of advice.

Is it military regime where they handover to themselves.

Did you consider the voters at all?

Not corrupt while his children are rolling in millions, including his son in laws? Abegi.

Tinubu has what it takes to yield more revenue which is what we need. If he can make Lagos to function and even increase her revenue the more while Obasanjo withheld her revenue, then that's what we need.

For me the best option here is for OBI to reach agreement with kwakwanso then decamp to NNPP And contest as president while kwakwanso runs as vice ... With agreement that there will be power shift to NORTH( precisely to kwakwanso) after Obi tenure ... My reason kwakwanso has stronger NNPP Structure in the North

What exactly will Kwankwaso gain from such an arrangement? NNPP has a minimal chance of winning up to 10 seats nationwide... Labour Party has zero chance. Kwankwaso can boast of a huge following in some NW states... Obi has Igbos openly fighting him left and right.

Negotiations at high level are totally devoid of sentiment. It is all about what you can offer....bring to the table.

That the best he can get is vice, and boasting Peter Obi will never be his vice, as if it was Kwankwaso that is begging for a merger, whereas its Peter Obi supporters that is doing the begging and still making crazy demands, Someone who is already a presidential candidate of his party.

Lagos thrived because Tinubu made it possible despite Obasanjo withholding her funds.

Obi didn't make Anambra thrive even while he was collecting revenue from the federal government.

I doubt the INEC will be an issue... Merger won't affect any of the mentioned above.. Both parties have their legal adviser and they must have studied the terms and conditions of INEC so I don't think this will deter the merger

The real issue is who will agree to be the Vp candidate. If Kwankanso ever agrees to be vp to obi it'll have negative effect for other candidates in his party. And Peter Obi supporters are too arrogant that its not even an option for him to be Vp. They'll ditch him Asap! They're only in it for an Igbo president.
For they can terrorize other ethnics.

If Peter Obi ever becomes President Yorubas are in for a tough time. They'll occupy most offices at the Federal level unremorsfully

The new electoral law sef go still disqualify Obi and it's so unfortunate tho, the law says once u contest a primary under a particular party u can switch to contest under another party, the new law also says once u serve as VP for 8 years u can only do one term more reason why they ditch Osinbajo for Tinubu sef, of Atiku wins he's going to do just 1 term
